Jeb Bush is about to violate Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment and hurt the pro-life cause at the same time.

From The New York Times:

The cash-rich group aiding Jeb Bush’s White House run has filmed a provocative video casting his rival Marco Rubio as ultimately unelectable because of his hard-line stand against abortion.

[…]

In an attempt to blunt Mr. Rubio’s appeal and showcase a potential vulnerability against the Democratic nominee in the general election, [Bush’s Super PAC] recently showed some Republicans a video portraying Mr. Rubio as too extreme on abortion. A longtime opponent of abortion rights, Mr. Rubio said in a debate in August that he had “never advocated” laws that would allow abortions, even in cases of rape or incest.

It is incredibly disappointing to see Bush’s associates using the language of the left to attack a fellow Republican on the issue of abortion, especially a Republican like Marco Rubio, who has been one of the most vocal pro-life voices in the field.

Bush should immediately condemn these types of attacks and instead run ads showcasing how he would attack Hillary Clinton for her extreme views on abortion, such as her support for late-term abortion up to the moment of birth. To go after a pro-life Republican on this issue is classless and shameful.
