John Kasich is being attacked on his support for Medicaid expansion and Common Core. His first response ad is brilliantly crafted to tap into the blue-collar discontent fueling Donald Trump’s success:

Like Trump’s message, it is relatively content-less about what Kasich will actually do, but it says, “trust me, I did it for Ohio.” “America: Never. Give. Up.” is a really strong message.
