EXCLUSIVE: ‘He’s Bitter’: Giuliani Slams Mattis, Blasts Piers Morgan

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani doubled down on his criticism of Piers Morgan after the British “news” presenter attacked President Trump.

Giuliani was interviewed by Morgan earlier on in the day, and appeared on the War Room: Pandemic show shortly after Morgan’s on-air meltdown, wherein he called President Trump a “racist”.

In the heated interview, Giuliani also slammed Former Defense Secretary James Mattis for criticizing President Trump’s response to nationwide rioting and looting.

Mattis, a perennial warmonger removed by President Trump, recently world with globalist magazine The Atlantic. He used them to put out a statement pounced upon by CNN:

“Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us,” he carped.

Giuliani, former New York City Mayor and President Trump’s personal attorney, hit back.

“I just think he’s bitter. I think it’s a shame and an embarrassment,” he contended on the podcast speaking with National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam.

Giuliani alleges the comments were “just to get even”:

“I know him. I honestly always thought he was kind of strange. He didn’t really talk normally, and I have no idea why he wants to do this,” Giuliani asserted. I guess just to get even, but these are gratuitous comments anyways. I mean it’s about style.”

He links Mattis’s comments to the media’s broader attempt to smear President Trump’s walk through Lafayette Square to visit St. John’s Church: “The president has worked tirelessly and they turned the St. Johns Church thing into something bad.” Not only did the media falsely report tear gas was used to clear out the area, but they also touted James Miller’s – a staunch establishment Democrat who’s donated nearly $10,000 to anti-Trump candidates – decision to resign via Washington Post op-ed as unmotivated by political differences.

Giuliani also addresses his recent interview with Piers Morgan which quickly devolved into a screaming match after Morgan repeatedly attacked President Trump’s response to ongoing riots as “racist.”

He recounts the interview: “He has the woman on there to begin with “well all of these riots in the United States are caused by President Trump.” I said “what are you talking about?”

Morgan returns: “Well because he quoted a racist sheriff from the 1960’s,” referencing President Trump tweeting “when the looting starts, the shooting starts.”

Giuliani fired back: “I said Piers, you know him. You know he’s not a racist. […] That’s totally ridiculous. I’d never heard that expression before. He’d probably never heard that expression before. I’m not even sure it’s in the book of quotations.”

He proceeds to double down and defend the accuracy of the statement: “And by the way, it happens to be true. I don’t care if it was said by a racist or a nun: looting causes shooting. You break into peoples’ stores, you starting ripping apart their property, all of a sudden it turns into shooting. If you need an example of it, a police officer was shot by a looter last night. So the president is merely warning people.”
