FLASHBACK: Schiff Previously Denigrated New Whistleblower For Providing ‘Incomplete and Misleading Information’

Establishment media outlets and Democrats may be promoting Brian Murphy, the former Acting Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis who posits he was told to stop providing intelligence on Russian interference in the 2020 election, but just a month ago, they were celebrating his reassignment after it was revealed he complied reports on protesters and journalist involved in ongoing riots.

Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and Impeachment ringleader Adam Schiff has pledged to “investigate” the whistleblower’s claims.

This is not the first time, however, that Schiff has commented on Murphy’s affair.

On August 1st, a New York Times article quoted Schiff saying that he was “concerned that Murphy may have provided incomplete and potentially misleading information” in his response to a Senate Intelligence Committee letter sent to Murphy over his allegedly “aggressive” approach with Portland protesters:

The issue prompted the Senate Intelligence Committee to send a letter to Mr. Murphy questioning the intelligence-gathering effort of journalists and protesters. Separately, Representative Adam B. Schiff, Democrat of California and the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said in a statement Saturday that his committee had been “conducting rigorous oversight of the Office of Intelligence and Analysis, including actions by Acting Undersecretary Murphy prior to his abrupt and apparent reassignment.
“In light of recent public reports, we are concerned that Murphy may have provided incomplete and potentially misleading information to Committee staff during our recent oversight engagement,” Mr. Schiff continued, adding that the committee would “be expanding our oversight even further in the coming days.”
