High school football coach Dave Flynn was reportedly fired for challenging critical race theory and Black Lives Matter propaganda being taught in his daughter’s seventh grade, public school classroom.
Flynn had held the position for a decade and was “widely respected” by the community – Massachusetts’s Dedham Public School District – according to local news.
His termination – chalked up to “significant philosophical differences with the direction, goals, and values of the school district” in a Dedham Public Schools announcement – was a result of him challenging the left-wing curricula dominating his daughter’s classsroom.

His daughter’s teacher, Kim Randall, allegedly made students participate in activities she designed to prominently display her personal Bitmoji wearing Black Lives Matter insignia. The content of the activities amplified critical race theory, encouraging students to provide examples of “stereotype,” “prejudice,” and “discrimination.”

Students were also told to analyze a cartoon depicting a white woman and black male interacting while contemplating “risk factors” and “mitigating factors.”

Flynn continued to advocate on behalf of his daughter, contacting Superintendent Michael Welch regarding the teachings in his daughter’s classroom.
In response, Welch expressed support for Black Lives Matter, bragged about how the school has increasingly employed less white adults, and hyped the introduction of critical race theory into the classroom, as revealed by a summary from a local news outlet:
After the inaction, Flynn pulled his children out of the school, opting for a Catholic institution.
