‘Catholic’ Biden Re-Introduces Foreign Abortion Funding by American Taxpayers.

President Biden is set to revoke the Mexico City Policy – a Reagan-era policy furthered by President Trump – that restricts U.S. taxpayer dollars from funding groups “performing or actively promoting” abortion in foreign countries.

In other words, Americans will be forced by the “Catholic” Joe Biden and his regime to fund foreign abortion practices which often target the poorest people in the world’s most deprived economies. In reality, it’s an attack on the lives of many unborn, non-white babies.

Dr. Anthony Fauci spun the move as part of the White Houses’s “broader commitment to protect women’s health and advance gender equality at home and around the world, and Press Secretary Jen Psaki skirted the question during a press briefing, emphasizing that Biden is a “devout Catholic.”

The policy will invariably lead to more abortions – in some cases approximately 40 percent.

Also known as the “global gag rule,” the policy requires that foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) certify they won’t “perform or actively promote abortion as a method of family planning” using funds from any source – including non-U.S. funds – as a requirement for receiving U.S. federal funds.

The Family Research Council also outlines the history of the policy, which has been “complicit” in the Chinese Communist Party’s “forced abortion and sterilization program”:

Prior to President Reagan’s actions, American policy on paper was to never promote abortion overseas, however in practice U.S. tax dollars directly supported organizations which advocated and performed abortion. It remained in effect until 1993 when President Clinton rescinded the Mexico City policy on January 22, 1993 for the entirety of his tenure in office. On January 22, 2001, President Bush issued an executive order restoring the Mexico City policy. President Bush had also determined UNFPA was complicit in China’s forced abortion and sterilization program, and withdrew its U.S. funding. President Obama ignored such facts and rescinded the policies.

In the early days of the Trump administration, the Mexico City Policy was reinstated and expanded via the presidential memorandum “Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance”:

I further direct the Secretary of State to take all necessary actions, to the extent permitted by law, to ensure that U.S. taxpayer dollars do not fund organizations or programs that support or participate in the management of a program of coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization.

Despite the clear anti-abortion protections included in the Mexico City Policy, purportedly “devout Catholic” Biden is “preparing to reverse” the policy that will lead to the death of millions of unborn children.

Even more concerning, the policy is just one item on a “long list of Trump administration policies related to abortion, contraception and reproductive health” the White House is considering terminating.
