College Prof Floats COVID Temperature Tests To ‘Keep Trump Voters Out’
David Bigio, a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, floated COVID-19 temperature tests as a potential tool to keep Trump voters out of polling stations.
He inquired on October 27th “if the voting sites took temperatures before letting people in” would “be a way to keep Trump voters out.”
If the voting sites took temperatures before letting people in, would that be a way to keep Trump voters out?

The tweet comes as no surprise: Bigio’s account contains a host of anti-Trump and pro-Biden content.
For example, during Amy Coney-Barrett’s confirmation hearings, the professor tweeted “it would be very, very convenient if judge Barrett was infected with covid.”
I know it’s not nice to wish covid on anyone, but it would be very, very convenient if judge Barrett was infected with covid. It would halt the confirmation process for awhile.

In addition to teaching mechanical engineering, Bigio also serves as Chair of the Teaching Excellence Committee for Clark School of Engineering.
