The slope is becoming so slippery you might be forgiven for thinking it’s a cliff.
In California, a local school teacher spent the day reading sexual revolution propaganda about transgenderism to her kindergarten class and, unbelievably, held a “gender reveal” ceremony where one of the children in the class switched clothes and began cosplaying as the opposite gender. Parents of the other children in the classroom, who were not notified any of this would be taking place, are understandably outraged and making their voices heard.
The teacher defended her decision to read two children’s books about transgenderism including one titled “I am Jazz.” She says the books were given to her by a transgender child going through a transition.
“The kindergartners came home very confused, about whether or not you can pick your gender, whether or not they really were a boy or a girl,” said England.
Parents say besides the books, the transgender student at some point during class also changed clothes and was revealed as her true gender. And many parents say they feel betrayed and blindsided.
“I want her to hear from me as a parent what her gender identity means to her and our family, not from a book that may be controversial,” a parent said.
“My daughter came home crying and shaking so afraid she could turn into a boy,” another parent said.
This is, of course, a central tenet of modern transgender affirmation theory: parents, especially those who refuse to accept transgender ideology, are to be excluded from the indoctrination process. As Anna Anderson explained recently for The National Pulse:
Instead of helping a child’s mind conform to reality, his or her body, transgender-affirmation theory says that we should make the child’s body, beginning with social expression, conform to his or her mental state. As Libby’s mother Rachel stated, “It’s really hard as a parent to go through a transition with your child. When you have a transgender child, it’s not just the child that transitions, it’s the family and the community.”
The community must also transition. This means that if transgender-affirmation theory is going to be implemented — as the activists are lobbying hard for — the privacy rights of other children, parents, women, and sexual assault survivors will be overturned. Not to mention, the rights of parents to educate their children about sexuality at an age that is actually appropriate.
It’s safe to say we will likely be seeing more of these stories in the months ahead, as progressives continue their push to expose and indoctrinate young children to their pseudo-religion of hyper-sexuality. Will we sit back and watch it happen? Or will we join together and fight against this madness?
