I would love CNN to ask one key question tonight at the GOP debate:

“What has gone wrong at the Federal Reserve?  They’ve kept interest rates at zero for more than six years and are now agonizing over a modest increase.  Will the appointment of a new Fed Chair solve the problem, or do we need to make a larger change to our monetary system, and if so what?”

The most pressing problem facing working Americans over the last decade has been stagnant wages and rising prices. Each year, we’re seeing less bang for our buck. And each year, Americans are being burdened with more and more debt.

Enough is enough. The Federal Reserve is broken, and our nation’s monetary policy is not working. Let’s hear what Donald Trump, Ben Carson, and the rest of the GOP candidates will do about it.
