There’s no nice way to say this: Planned Parenthood is waging a war on the Hispanic community.

In addition to performing abortions and selling baby body parts, Planned Parenthood has a history of exploiting Hispanics and other minorities for profit.

Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, a devout believer in racist ideology and an advocate of eugenics. Sanger, like the Nazis, believed that the human race should rid itself of so-called “undesirable” elements via mass sterilization and/or eradication.

Sanger once said of immigrants, “That these foreigners who have come in hordes have brought with them their ignorance of hygiene and modern ways of living and that they are handicapped by religious superstitions is only too true… I believe that now, immediately, there should be national sterilization for certain dysgenic types of our population who are being encouraged to breed and would die out were the government not feeding them.”

Horrible. Yet these comments are reflective of Planned Parenthood’s mission.

Planned Parenthood has continued Sanger’s legacy by predominantly targeting minority communities for abortion:

  • 25% of all abortions Planned Parenthood performs are on Hispanic women, a disproportionate percentage to the Hispanic population of 17%.
  • 30% of all abortions Planned Parenthood performs are on African-American women, a shocking number compared to the African-American population of only 12%.
  • Nearly 80% of all Planned Parenthood’s surgical abortion facilities are within walking distance of a black or Hispanic neighborhood.

When you look at the numbers, it’s clear that Planned Parenthood is waging a war on Hispanics and other minorities. And yet we give more than $500 million in taxpayer funding to this corporation every year—a corporation founded on killing minorities, and sadly, a corporation that continues to wage war on us everyday.

No more corporate welfare for Big Abortion. It’s time to #DefundPlannedParenthood.
