ABC’s suspension of Whoopi Goldberg for her Holocaust rant was labeled “cancel culture” by her leftist bedfellows. It may be true, but I don’t think ABC went far enough. I think The View should be cancelled in its entirety. Goldberg, whose real name is Caryn Elaine Johnson (she gave herself a Jewish last name), had denied that the Holocaust was a racially-driven genocide. The comments were especially galling given her bizarre history with Judaism. In May 2011 she told a crowd: “I just know I am Jewish. I practice nothing. I don’t go to temple, but I do remember the
Despite ABC and PBS amplifying the fake Washington Post story about President Trump pressuring election investigators to “find the fraud” on air, the networks have refused to cover the story’s retraction. “With the rest of the media scrambling to make the corrections in their online copies of the story, ABC News and PBS, who talked about the now-debunked order on-air, refused to give corresponding corrections to their viewers Monday,” Newsbusters notes. On ABC’s Good Morning America program, correspondent Elwyn Lopez repeated the claims of the corrected Washington Post story on January 10th: And the President’s false claims of voter fraud continue to
Even ABC News is now admitting Joe Biden’s refusal to hold a press conference or take any questions with reporters raises “accountability questions” and threatens to set a precedent for future presidents. Writing in ABC News today, reporters Ben Gittleson states: Halfway into his first 100 days, President Joe Biden has yet to hold a formal, solo news conference, raising questions about accountability with the White House under increasing pressure to explain why. Even as the nation deals with multiple crises — a deadly pandemic and the devastating economic fallout — Biden has gone longer without facing extended questions from reporters than
An ABC affiliate in Florida has suggested that “men may want to consider freezing their sperm prior to vaccination,” in a report about fertility and the COVID-19 vaccine. Health reporter Kristi Krueger and special projects producer Kathleen Corso wrote in their December 20th article for Local 10 News: The University of Miami is investigating the possible effects of the coronavirus vaccine on male fertility. Lead researchers Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, a reproductive urologist with U Health, initiated an earlier study which found the virus was present in the testicles for up to six months following infection. That spurred his team to
ABC Chief Legal Analyst and SiriusXM radio host Dan Abrams insisted a “tiny chance” exists that President Trump could “steal the election.” While speaking on his radio show, he remarked: “I am starting to think that there is a tiny chance that he will successfully steal this election, tiny, less than five percent.” The comments reversed his previously held belief that “there’s nothing to worry about,” insisting when asked if President Trump could win re-election his answer was “always no.” “For the first time, I am seriously considering the possibility that he’s going to be able to steal the election.
ABC-Ipsos’s new poll – which ostensibly shows President Trump in trouble – surveyed just 533 people, without a preference for likely or registered voters, and with a significant Democratic Party skew. The poll – cited across the news media on Sunday – purported to show the public at odds with the President over the coronavirus pandemic as well as the widely debunked story about his supposedly derogatory comments about the military. But the poll is almost less scientific than a Twitter survey, given who was polled and in what percentages and ratios. STACKING THE DECK. In total, the poll quizzed
