Abortion Enthusiast Warren Buffett Supports Aborting Heroes Like Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles

This week, the world collectively turned its eyes to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Social media is lighting up as Americans across the country discuss stunning performances from the U.S. gymnastics team, particularly from 19-year-old Simone Biles.

Biles, hailed by many as perhaps the greatest gymnast of all time, had a chaotic early childhood. Her mother was a drug addict and her father abandoned his family. However, in an inspirational turn, Biles was adopted by a Christian family and rose to the heights of human excellence.

If billionaire Warren Buffett had his way, however, Biles may not have lived to captivate the planet’s attention.

Buffett recently released his tax returns, and they came with a shocking revelation: Buffett has donated over 1.8 billion dollars directly to the abortion industry – enough to fund the abortions of 3.6 million babies. LifeNews reports that more than $442 million of that went straight to Planned Parenthood, the country’s largest abortion provider.

That enormous sum from Buffett only accounts for the funding he has given directly to the abortion industry alone. When factoring in his contributions to pro-abortion super PACs and politicians, the total sum of Buffett’s pro-abortion spending skyrockets.

Earlier this month, Buffett gave a speech endorsing Hillary Clinton, possibly one of the most pro-abortion candidates in American history. Clinton, of course, supports legal abortion up to the moment of birth, and she supports repealing the Hyde Amendment, opening the doors for U.S. tax dollars to go directly toward paying for abortion.

Traditionally, the pro-abortion left has claimed that they want to make abortion “safe, legal, and rare.” Now, however, abortion advocates have dropped the “rare” part of the mantra. Contemporary defenders of abortion see it as a positive good, something to be, as seen at the Democratic National Convention, applauded.

“I made the decision that was best for me— to have an abortion — and was able to get compassionate care at a clinic in my own community,” Ilyse Hogue, president of pro-abortion group NARAL, said at the DNC.  “Now, years later, my husband and I are parents to two incredible children.”

If abortion ideologues like Buffett, Clinton, and Hogue had their way, every pregnant woman in a difficult situation would have an abortion rather than carry her child to term. People like Simone Biles would never have the chance to win gold medals and inspire countless young girls. They wouldn’t even be allowed to live a full, meaningful life.

Instead of standing with women in times of difficulty and encouraging alternatives to abortion, the radicals at Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and the Hillary Clinton for President campaign want to affirm abortion as a method of birth control.

Abortionists have killed nearly 60 million babies since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. How many of these children would have had bright futures, like Biles, if their mothers had chosen adoption instead of abortion?

In 1994, Hillary Clinton met with Mother Teresa during a National Prayer Breakfast. Crisis Magazine reported that Clinton asked Mother Teresa why the United States had not had a female President yet.

“Because she has probably been aborted,” Mother Teresa responded.

It’s a stunning thought. If abortionists killed America’s Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir, how many other heroes and Olympic record-breakers, innovative geniuses, and difference-makers have had their lives stolen from them?

Thankfully, Simone Biles’ mother did not abort her. But countless other mothers in similar situations exploited by groups funded by Buffett’s billions, have aborted their children.

And that is truly a tragedy.
