Why Rubio’s Endorsement of a Constitutional Convention Doesn’t Thrill Me

Rubio earned praise from Mark Levin for calling for a Constitutional Convention of the States, one of the means set forth by the Constitution to create amendments that bypasses Congress entirely. Here’s why I’m not so thrilled: Setting aside the question of whether or not it is a good idea, it is an idea which the President has no power to implement, and so no responsibility for success or failure.
