Study: A Cup of Black Tea Could Prevent COVID-19 Infection.

A study carried out by researchers at the University of Georgia suggests a cup of black tea may serve as an additional line of defense against COVID-19 by “inactivating” the virus in the mouth. The study tested five different tea varieties, each prepared with a single bag steeped for 10 minutes. Every one of the teas tested was found to reduce the virus by at least 96 percent within ten seconds of contact in the mouth. Black tea emerged as the most effective, reducing it by 99.9 percent.

COVID-19 can infect and replicate inside the mouth, passing through the throat before ultimately reaching the lungs.

“At this stage, we are not suggesting tea as a stand-alone intervention against COVID, because the virus also replicates in the nose and may have already reached the lung by the time a person tests positive,” said Malak Esseili, a virologist at the University of Georgia, who led the study. “But tea can be an additional layer of intervention that the patients and their families can easily adopt on a routine basis.”

Supporting this, a Japanese study from the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine also showed that drinking matcha latte or green tea could help limit COVID-19 transmission. Scientists found that tea-based molecules, EGCG and TFDG, could bind to the virus spike protein, impeding its infectivity, and were particularly against the Omicron variant.

Planned Parenthood Resists Probe Into Transing Kids.

Planned Parenthood in Missouri is stonewalling an investigation into its “treatment” of transgender kids, refusing to comply with a court order to release treatment records.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey won a court battle against Planned Parenthood, with St. Louis Circuit Judge Michael Stelzer ruling the abortion provider cannot use Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations to avoid revealing whether it has subjected minors to transgender therapies.

Bailey described the judgment as significant for his investigation into transgender health clinics’ “treatment” of minors in Missouri. However, only the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City has surrendered documents following legal victories over three clinics. Planned Parenthood Great Plains has appealed to maintain its document privacy, and Planned Parenthood St. Louis, which was ordered to release files, has yet to comply.

Bailey has expressed concerns over Planned Parenthood’s non-compliance and promised continued legal actions to protect children and bring clarity.

“It’s extremely questionable that Planned Parenthood is actively stonewalling our investigations,” he said. “I had to haul them into court in order to get a judge to force them to turn over the documents we’ve requested.”

Judge Stelzer ruled Bailey “is investigating possible dishonesty by [Planned Parenthood] in their medical and billing practices” and affirmed the AG’s “broad investigative powers when the consumer is in possible need of protection.”

Missouri banned the administration of puberty blockers, hormones, and other transgender medical interventions to children in August 2023.

Illegals Told to ‘Vote for Biden’ in Flyers Found at NGO Site in Mexico.

Flyers urging illegal aliens to vote for Joe Biden have been discovered at a site in Mexico operated by Resource Center Matamoros (RCM), a complex operated by a non-governmental organization (NGO) that assists immigrants attempting to gain asylum in the United States.

“Reminder to vote for President Biden when you are in the United States,” read the Spanish-language flyers discovered inside port-a-potties and other locations throughout the RCM site by Muckraker.com. They bear RCM branding and carry RCM contact information.

The RCM is operated by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), an NGO that previously boasted Biden’s foreign-born Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as a board member.

The Oversight Project shared audio obtained by Muckraker on RCM founder Gaby Zavala, in which she is alleged to have “implied… that she wants to help as many illegals as possible before President Trump is reelected.” Zavala was previously an organizer for La Union del Pueblo Entero (LUPE), a partner of the Open Society Foundations (OSF) group founded by George Soros.

Officially, illegal aliens are barred from voting in federal elections, but weak laws around voter identification leave room for this to be circumvented. The Biden campaign has been notably resistant to proposals by Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson to require prospective voters to prove citizenship.

Illegal immigration can strengthen the Democrats, even without illegal aliens voting directly, by boosting the population in ways that allow favorable redistricting. Fifty-four percent of likely voters believe Biden has been “encouraging” illegal immigration to  “create a permanent majority” for the Democrats.

CNN Admits ‘It’s An Election Interference Trial’ – BUT Not For the Obvious Reason…

CNN legal analyst and globalist hatchet man Norman Eisen has argued it is “wrong” to describe George Soros-backed District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of Donald Trump in Manhattan as a “hush money” case.

“We should call it an ‘election interference’ trial going forward,” Eisen said, echoing a sentiment often expressed by Trump himself – though the CNN employee believes it is Trump, not his Democrat prosecutors, who may be responsible for the interference.

Eisen noted that Democrat-linked Judge Juan Merchan, describing the case to potential jurors, said the allegations “that Donald Trump falsified business records to conceal an agreement with others to unlawfully influence the 2016 presidential election.”

“Paying hush money by itself is not a crime. The crime alleged in this case is felony document falsification, as the judge detailed. That requires intent to conceal, aid or commit another crime,” Eisen explained.

“Here, the prosecution alleges that the intent was to violate federal campaign finance laws and also the state statute prohibiting the ‘unlawful influence’ of an election — i.e., election interference.”

NOVEL APPROACH.

This approach by Bragg, which has allowed him to elevate the charges against Trump from misdemeanor to felony, is novel and, in the eyes of many legal experts, dubious, as the “other crime” the former president supposedly committed is not being prosecuted.

Eisen conceded the alleged accounting issues with so-called “hush money” payments to Stormy Daniels to settle claims of an affair, which Trump denies, date from 2017, after the 2016 election had concluded.

The CNN analyst argues the payment was itself election interference, however, claiming “no one can seriously dispute that the reason… Trump allegedly hatched the scheme was to deprive voters of information that could have changed the outcome of an extremely close election.”

“When information is withheld from voters, as Bragg alleges happened here, that undermines democracy… It is an election interference [trial] and we should say so,” he concluded.

He did not touch on whether censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020 would qualify as election interference on behalf of Biden under this definition.

Barron Trump

Trump Blasts NY Judge for Attacking His Family (While Placing a ‘Gag Order’ Over His Daughter’s Links to Democrats).

Donald Trump slammed New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan for hinting he would block him from attending the graduation of his youngest son, Barron.

Merchan, who has already threatened to have Trump arrested if he misses a single day of his so-called “hush money” trial to campaign for the presidency, has declined to rule on whether or not the former president can be excused for his son’s high school graduation: “It really depends on if we are on time and where we are in the trial,” he said.

“My son has graduated from high school, and it looks like the judge will not let me go to the graduation of my son, who has worked very very hard,” Trump told reporters.

Later, he posted a more extensive statement on Truth Social, demanding: “Who will explain for me, to my wonderful son, Barron, who is a GREAT Student at a fantastic School, that his Dad will likely not be allowed to attend his Graduation Ceremony, something that we have been talking about for years, because a seriously Conflicted and Corrupt New York State Judge wants me in Criminal Court on a bogus “Biden Case” which, according to virtually all Legal Scholars and Pundits, has no merit, and should NEVER have been brought?”

“The Judge, Juan Merchan, is preventing me from proudly attending my son’s Graduation. Seems very unfair, doesn’t it? But this whole event is unfair,” he added.

Trump’s lawyers asked Merchan to recuse himself before the trial, citing his family’s links to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Merchan’s daughter has shared manipulated images of the former president behind bars, apparently in the hope her father will imprison him.

Merchan refused to recuse himself and banned Trump from “attacking” his family.

Mike Johnston Denver

Denver Mayor Slashes Funding for Police, Fire Depts., Shifts $90M to Pay for Illegals.

Denver, Colorado, Mayor Mike Johnston announced he will raid city coffers and slash the police, firefighter, and 9-1-1 call center budgets to boost funding for housing and other services for illegal immigrants. Johnston, who has embraced the Biden government’s term “newcomers” to refer to the city’s burgeoning illegal alien population, said the cuts are necessary to afford the $89.9 million in new spending on illegals.

The city’s police department will see a $8.4 million cut in its budget, while the Denver fire department will have its budget slashed by $2.5 million. In addition, 9-1-1 operators would be forced to take a pay cut. Other city services will be reduced by $45.9 million as part of the funding shift, which prioritizes Denver’s illegal immigrant population of its legal residents.

“After more than a year of facing this crisis together, Denver finally has a sustainable plan for treating our newcomers with dignity while avoiding the worst cuts to city services,” Johnston claimed during the April 10 announcement of his budget plan. He continued: “So many times, we were told that we couldn’t be compassionate while still being fiscally responsible. Today is proof that our hardest challenges are still solvable and that together we are the ones who will solve them.”

Johnston has joined other state and local Democratic politicians across the U.S. in asking for the Biden government to provide financial assistance for cities as well as increase the number of work permits for illegal immigrants. “We think if the federal government can take action on the supplemental budget that President Biden has proposed, that would be $14 billion that could help meet this need,” the Denver mayor said earlier this year. Johnston’s budget will head to the Denver City Council for debate and a final vote on April 16.

China CCP US Agriculture

House Lawmakers Look to Block Chinese Control Of U.S. Agriculture.

Reps. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) and Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) are pushing new legislation that would direct the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to formulate strategies to counter potential threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to American agricultural supply chains. In addition, the bill would eliminate regulatory barriers that the lawmakers say are detrimental to promoting domestic agricultural production.

“China has captured significant market share for agricultural inputs that are vital to our domestic food supply, ceding our top adversary leverage and control,” Hinson said in an interview after announcing the legislation. She continued: “Iowa farmers have told me firsthand that if China decides to shut off U.S. access to these inputs, food production could slow to a halt.”

The CCP has made significant investments in global agriculture production in recent years, buying up large swaths of farmland worldwide and purchasing large stakes in agricultural-sector companies. These moves have raised concerns with federal and state lawmakers in the U.S., with several state governments moving to block further Chinese land acquisitions last year. Recent attempts by the Chinese company Fufeng Group to procure land in North Dakota for a corn mill project were blocked by local officials after the U.S. Air Force raised concerns about the project’s proximity to a nearby military base.

Supported by the top lawmakers on the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, the bill would require annual evaluations of the federal government to assess the health and safety of domestic agricultural supply chains and China’s potential influence over them. The new legislation comes amidst increasing concerns in Congress regarding China’s infiltration of the U.S. technology sector — as well as the pervasive influence of the TikTok social media app, owned by China-based technology conglomerate ByteDance.

Poland’s Ex-PM Regrets Pushing Too Far on Abortion as New Globalist Govt Set to Liberalize Laws.

Mateusz Morawiecki, the former national populist Prime Minister of Poland, has expressed his regret at conservatives pushing abortion restrictions further than the public would tolerate while in office. His Law and Justice (PiS) party has now been displaced by a globalist coalition, which wants not just to reverse the changes but also liberalize abortion far beyond the status quo ante.

Abortion was already restricted relatively strongly when PiS entered office, with exceptions for rape, danger to the life of the mother, and cases where the unborn baby was found to have defects — an arrangement known as the “abortion compromise.” Conservative appointees to the country’s Constitutional Tribunal eliminated the last of these exceptions, intended to allow women to end unviable pregnancies, in 2020, ruling it was being used to target babies with conditions such as Down’s Syndrome in a discriminatory manner.

Abortion was weaponized by the left in Poland’s 2023 elections. While PiS remained the largest party, a coalition of smaller globalist and left-wing parties combined to take over the government. Two of the three major factions in the new government now wish to not only restore the defects exception but also legalize abortion up to 12 weeks.

“If I could turn back time, yes, I would do it. I think the compromise was a bad thing, but much better than what may await us in the future,” lamented Morawiecki.

Donald Trump has often cautioned pro-life campaigners against pushing for abortion restrictions that do not enjoy broad public support. He argued that while people should “follow their heart” on the issue, conservatives “have to win elections” to stop leftist politicians from gaining power and advancing extreme policies such as legalizing abortion up to birth.

Manchester Arena Bomber

Ariana Grande Concert Bombing Survivors Sue MI5 Over Terror Failings.

Over 250 survivors of the Ariana Grande concert bombing in Manchester, England, have united to take legal action against Britain’s security service, MI5, over its failings in the lead-up to the attack.

The suicide bombing at Manchester Arena, which killed 22 and injured over 100, including many children and teenagers, was carried out by Salman Abedi, the son of a Libyan Islamist granted refugee status by the British government.

Official inquiries have found MI5 made several severe failures before Abedi — who was flagged to the domestic security service 18 times prior to the attack — carried out the bombing.

Local law enforcement has also faced criticism for its failures before the attack. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) was aware of Abedi communicating with a convicted extremist three years before the bombing, in which he insulted non-Muslims as “dogs” and “kuffars” and expressed his desire for “martyrdom.”

On the night of the attack, officers for the British Transport Police (BTP) were not present at Manchester Arena because they were indulging in an unauthorized, two-hour dinner break. Abedi was reported to on-site security guards because he was praying and acting erratically at the entrance to the arena while wearing a large rucksack, but they refused to intervene because they were “scared” they would be “branded racist.”

Public Inquiry Finds Chinese Election Interference Aided Justin Trudeau – Is The Same Tactic Happening Here?

Revelations in February that the Chinese communist government sought to interfere in the past two Canadian elections on behalf of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the ruling Liberal Party have sparked a public inquiry in Ottowa. Over the past three weeks, the inquiry commission has heard testimony from top Trudeau government aides, national security and intelligence officials, and the Prime Minister himself. Despite Trudeau’s insistence that the 2019 and 2021 Canadian elections were “free and fair,” testimony from intelligence officials suggests otherwise.

‘CHINA GOT THE OUTCOME IT WANTED.’

“It would just seem very improbable that the Chinese government itself would have a preference in the election,” Prime Minister Trudeau testified last week before the inquiry, which Quebec Court of Appeal Justice Marie-Josée Hogue heads. However, intelligence documents made public in the course of the inquiry detail a sophisticated and concerted effort by agents acting on behalf of China to push Chinese-Canadian voters to back Liberal Party candidates over their Conservative Party opponents. In response to the proceedings, The Washington Post concluded: “China got the outcome it wanted in 2021 — the reelection of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with a minority government.”

A Canadian intelligence investigation into Chinese activities during the 2021 election concluded that the communist regime used Chinese immigrants, members of their diplomatic service, political proxies, as well as Chinese-language news outlets to induce — or even coerce — Chinese-Canadian voters to back candidates they viewed as friendly or open to Beijing’s global agenda.

While this meant pushing Liberal Party candidates in 2019 and 2021, there is concerning evidence that the Conservatives may also be the subject to Beijing’s influence. Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre has sought to improve the party’s standing among Chinese-Canadians. In January, Poilievre appeared at a Toronto Chinese community event alongside several individuals with extensive ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

U.S. IMPLICATIONS.

The Chinese efforts to influence Canadian elections also hold stark implications for the United States. The ongoing immigration crisis at the U.S. southern border has seen a historic number of Chinese enter the country illegally. Many of these individuals are men of military age whom U.S officials know little about — raising concerns about their roles in potential Chinese intelligence operations in America.

Colorado Semiauto Ban

Colorado House Passes Semiautomatic Firearm Ban.

On Sunday, Colorado‘s Democratic-majority House advanced a measure aimed at banning the sale and transfer of semiautomatic firearms. The bill, which got through on a 35-27 vote, is set to be introduced next in the Democratic-led state Senate.

Should the legislation succeed, Colorado would join other states, including California, Illinois, and New York, in instituting such bans. However, the proposed bill potentially faces tougher opposition in the state Senate than it did in the House. Governor Jared Polis, a Democrat, has also expressed hesitation towards the concept in the past.

Democrats previously passed four more moderate gun control bills, signed into law by Gov. Polis. These cover raising the legal firearm purchasing age, instituting a waiting period between gun purchase and receipt, adjusting the state’s red flag law, and modifying legal protections for the gun industry. These actions followed a mass shooting at an LGBTQ+ nightclub that left five people dead.

Opponents, largely Republicans, have labeled the proposed law as an excessive encroachment on the Second Amendment, arguing that it does not address root issues like mental health and societal value for life.

It appears that the Biden regime is emboldening anti-Second Amendment Democrats. The Colorado bill follows the introduction of a draconian national bill by Democrats in Congress that seeks to ban gun ranges and private security.
