White House Announces More Than 500 New Sanctions Against Russia.

The Biden Treasury Department plans to impose over 500 new sanctions on Russia on Friday, the largest single group of sanctions the U.S. has leveled against Russia since it invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The sanctions follow a series of recent arrests and indictments targeting Russian businessmen, including the head of Russia’s second-largest bank, announced by the Justice Department on Thursday.

The White House promised significant sanctions in response to the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in an Arctic penal colony. Biden, who met with Navalny’s wife and daughter on Thursday, said the sanctions would be “against Putin, who is responsible for his death.” The Russian government maintains that Navalny died of natural causes.
The new sanctions add to the thousands of others that have already been imposed on Russian officials, businessmen, banks, companies, and whole industries since the war began.

The sanctions are part of a larger effort on the part of the Biden administration to maintain its support for Ukraine in the face of Republican opposition to increased funding of the war. Republicans in Congress are largely opposed to sending any more financial aid to Ukraine, especially as the U.S. border crisis continues unabated and unaddressed.

Kamala Secret Service Agents

‘DEI’ Secret Service Agent Punched Boss On Kamala Harris’s Security Detail.

A fight between two United States Secret Service (USSS) agents assigned to Kamala Harris‘s security detail raises concerns about the impact of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies on the agent hiring process. On Monday, a Secret Service agent who is described to have displayed erratic behavior on prior occasions became involved in a confrontation with another agent. While preliminary reports described the incident as involving only two unarmed agents, new details paint a very different picture.

The incident occurred at Andrews Air Force Base Monday morning, shortly before Harris arrived at the military facility. In what USSS officials describe as a medical incident, an erratic agent began arguing with colleagues. A fight broke out when the Special Agent in Charge and a supervisor attempted to intervene. The aggressor had to be restrained by other Secret Service personnel.

Late Wednesday, RealClearPolitics correspondent Susan Crabtree posted on X (formerly Twitter) that “there are DEI concerns among the USSS community about the hiring of this agent.” She continued: “Other agents and officers within the USSS are asking questions about the agent’s hiring process, whether the USSS did enough to look into the agent’s background and monitor the agent’s mental well-being…”

While initial reports insinuated the two agents involved were unarmed, that now appears not to be the case. The aggressor did possess a holstered sidearm, which was removed once they were restrained by other Secret Service agents present.

“At approximately 9 AM. On April 22, a U.S. Secret Service special agent supporting the Vice President’s departure from Joint Base Andrews began displaying behavior their colleagues found distressing. The agent was removed from their assignment while medical personnel were summoned,”  Secret Service Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement.

Other Apps TikTok Ban

LIST: Other Chinese Apps That Could Get Caught in the TikTok Ban.

A provision in the foreign aid supplemental funding bill passed late last night by the United States Senate — and by the House of Representatives last Saturday — would force the Chinese-owned technology conglomerate ByteDance to either divest itself from TikTok or face its ban in the U.S. However, TikTok isn’t the only ByteDance-owned app that the bill will impact once it is signed into law by Joe Biden. The divestment language mirrors that of legislation passed by the House in mid-March.

An additional number of Chinese-owned companies could face having to find a buyer for their U.S. operations or being banned from American markets as well. ByteDance alone offers several other apps in U.S. digital app stores that fall under the same provisions impacting TikTok. The National Pulse has compiled a list of ByteDance-owned apps and other products that could be impacted below.

  • CapCut – A video editing app often used by TikTok content makers.
  • Hypic – A ByteDance-owned photo editing app.
  • Gauth – An AI homework assistant.
  • Lemon8 – A social media app with features similar to that of Pinterest.
  • SoundOn – An app that pairs with TikTok and allows users to distribute original music creations.
  • Lark – A software product similar to Microsoft‘s Office productivity suite or Google‘s Workplace.
  • BytePlus – A cloud-based storage and computing service.
  • 8th Note Press – A digital publishing platform.

In addition to ByteDance’s U.S. offerings, their foreign market products will likely face a ban on use in the United States. These include:

  • Toutiao – An app that serves as a news aggregator.
  • Xigua Video – A social media platform that allows users to share video content.
  • DouyinChina‘s domestic version of TikTok.

Britain’s Ex-Immigration Minister Admits Migrants Are CRUSHING National Prosperity, Not Raising It.

Mass migration is causing a housing crisis while failing to increase wealth per person, according to Robert Jenrick, who resigned as Minister of State for immigration at the end of 2023. Jenrick, who previously served as Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government under Boris Johnson, warned the British government has become “hooked” on mass migration — but it is not improving the economy and amounts to a “betrayal to voters.”

A reduction in net legal immigration “from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands” was promised by Jenrick’s Conservative Party ahead of the 2010, 2015, and 2017 elections, and an “overall” reduction was promised ahead of the 2019 election. The Brexit campaign was also fought mainly on an anti-immigration basis. However, the Conservatives increased net immigration from 196,000 in 2009 to 745,000 in 2022, and illegal immigration is also at unprecedented levels.

“[T]he economic model that we’ve become hooked on isn’t working,” Jemrick admitted. “If importing hundreds of thousands of foreign workers to the UK was a route to prosperity, the UK would be one of the richest countries in the world. Instead, for almost the last two years we’ve had a recession in GDP per capita… I care about the prosperity of our own citizens, not the overall size of the economy.”

HOUSING CRISIS.

Jenrick stressed that government “modeling of the benefits of immigration has consistently overlooked the fiscal costs arising from pressure on housing, public services, and welfare.” On housing, in particular, he noted that the country currently would “have to build a house every five minutes, day and night, purely to keep up with the level of net migration to this country” — a feat that is not being accomplished, driving up home prices and rents and causing severe shortages of public housing.

The United States also suffers due to dogmatic beliefs that immigration benefits the economy. In early April, globalist media outlet Semafor argued “[t]he border crisis might be a boon for the economy,” citing an economist who formerly worked at Joe Biden’s White House.

The cost of housing, feeding, and otherwise caring for illegal aliens is costing billions of dollars across multiple states, near and far from the southern border.

AZ Governor Katie Hobbs Sides with Criminal Squatters.

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D) has vetoed state legislation allowing homeowners to have unlawful squatters removed from their property by law enforcement. Senate Bill 1129 (SB1129) would have changed the status quo, which subjects homeowners to lengthy court battles before they can reclaim their property, empowering law enforcement to remove squatters as trespassers swiftly.

Hobbs, 54, argued in her veto letter that SB 1129 did not “respect the due process rights of lawful tenants” and could have “unintended consequences, such as for victims of domestic violence.”

Republican state senator Wendy Rogers questioned whether Hobbs “read the bill.” She said it addressed only illegal occupants, not lawful tenants, and included carve-outs for family members and “anyone with an agreement to cohabitate.”

“The issue of squatters taking over people’s homes is growing exponentially across the nation, including here in Arizona, yet Governor Katie Hobbs is refusing to address the problem,” complained Republican state senator Wendy Rogers.

“If a stranger invades a home unlawfully and claims a right to live there, SB 1129 would have allowed the homeowner to request law enforcement immediately remove that person from the property,” she explained, adding that refusing to leave would have been treated as trespassing.

‘WE CAN SEIZE IT.’

“Criminals are scheming to take over homes that aren’t theirs, posing a threat to the safety of homeowners and infringing on their private property rights,” Rogers said. It is “a shame Governor Katie Hobbs has vetoed yet another piece of commonsense bipartisan legislation,” she added.

Illegal aliens have been taking advantage of America’s permissive squatting laws. Venezuelan illegal Leonel Moreno built a substantial TikTok following teaching migrants how to abuse the law.

“I found out that there is a law that says that if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it,” Moreno said in one video. He boasted his friends had “already taken about seven homes.”

Illegal Arrested for Fatal Stabbing at Motel.

Law enforcement in Sumter County, Florida, arrested Ricardo Agustin Lorenzo, an illegal alien hailing from Guatemala, on second-degree murder charges on April 13. Lorenzo is accused of stabbing a man to death at a Days Inn Hotel in Wildwood, Florida.

The suspect is believed to have fatally stabbed Bilder Pablo, also an illegal alien, and subsequently fled the scene. Police arrived on the scene and were able to locate Pablo. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital in Gainesville, Florida, where he died of his injuries.

After a brief manhunt, Ricardo Agustin Lorenzo was seen walking down Interstate 75 but attempted to flee when law enforcement arrived. He was quickly found hiding in a nearby wooded area. Police were able to take the illegal immigrant and suspected murderer into custody without further incident. At this time, the motivation for the murder is not known.

Lorenzo is currently being held at the Sumter County Jail without the option for bail. In addition, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has placed a detainer request on Lorenzo, meaning they would take custody should he be released on bail or on the orders of a judge.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has encountered at least 145,000 illegal immigrants from Guatemala already this fiscal year, according to data from ICE.

WATCH: Fake Conservative Liz Truss Exposed in Excruciating Interview.

Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss has suffered a serious setback in her efforts to reinvent herself as an anti-woke culture warrior in the United States after her long history of promoting far-left identity politics and mass migration was exposed by journalist Steven Edginton.

Truss, the shortest-serving premier in British history, has been touring U.S. venues, including Matt Schlapp’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), claiming to be a victim of the “deep state” and touting her new book. However, as The National Pulse previously reported, she was embedded in that “deep state” for roughly a decade, campaigning against Brexit and promoting woke holidays such as ‘International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia’ in a variety of government roles, including Minister for Women and Equalities.

Edginton, who has covered the woke takeover of the Civil Service, military, and security services under Truss and the Conservative Party extensively, called her out on this record at length in a sit-down interview, frequently leaving her floundering.

Truss, who now says legal immigration is too high, was pressed on her desire to make it even easier. She was also quizzed on her efforts to promote Antonia Romeo, a senior bureaucrat who regularly promoted Black Lives Matter as well as Non-binary Awareness Day and Trans Awareness Week.

Truss’s actions in government, as opposed to her rhetoric, align with her background as an entryist to the party from the Liberal Democrats. Asked to identify an historic Conservative Party leader other than Winston Churchill or Margaret Thatcher whom she admired, she could only come up with Javier Milei — the current, libertarian President of Argentina.

Bird Flu Found in Pasteurized Milk.

Pasteurized milk from cows infected with bird flu has tested positive for the virus. The troubling disclosure from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) follows the discovery of the virus in dairy cows in at least eight states, infecting 33 herds so far. FDA and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) officials previously asserted that milk from affected cattle would not enter the commercial supply. The FDA maintains that no risk is posed to consumers as the found material was inactivated.

To date, only two people in the U.S. have contracted bird flu, both in close contact with infected animals, one being a dairy worker in Texas, and the other a prison inmate in Colorado in 2022. Both cases were mild and recovery was swift.

The exact quantity of tested samples has not been revealed by the FDA nor where they were acquired. Testing has been conducted on milk during processing and from grocery stores. The agency anticipates additional test results in the coming weeks.

The FDA used a PCR lab test that detects viral genetic material even after a virus has been killed through pasteurization. Lee-Ann Jaykus, an emeritus food microbiologist and virologist at North Carolina State University, said there has been no evidence of an infectious virus yet.

In addition to dairy cattle, bird flu outbreaks have also hit chickens, with Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., the nation’s largest producer of fresh chicken eggs, experiencing an outbreak in one of its Texas production facilities. Scientists have warned that a bird flu outbreak could be ‘100 times worse’ than COVID. Earlier this month it was revealed that U.S. tax dollars are being spent on research in China intended to make a highly transmissible version of bird flu.

Miguel Hernandez-Ruiz

Illegal Charged with Sexually Assaulting 2 Pre-Teen Girls.

Miguel Hernandez-Ruiz, an illegal alien from Mexico, was charged with a first-degree home invasion and two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under the age of 13. The alleged assault occurred on March 20 in the Sweet Lake Mobile Home Park, Sturgis, Michigan.

Investigators determined the Mexican had victimized two pre-teen girls. He was captured in early April in Fort Wayne, Indiana, following a manhunt. He initially resisted extradition to the Wolverine State but was ultimately charged in St. Joseph County.

Hernandez-Ruiz entered the United States on an H-2A agricultural visa in August 2021 but became unlawfully present when he remained in the country after its expiration.

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office says Hernandez-Ruiz is subject to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer ahead of a court appearance on April 30.

Local judges and law enforcement frequently ignore such detainers. The National Pulse has described several serious criminals who were able to victimize the public or left at large for an extended period after detainers were not honored in its regular migrant crime round-ups.

These include pedophiles from Brazil, Colombia, and India, who were all left at large for months after ICE detainers were ignored.

Cora Masters Barry Farrakhan

Farrakhan Fangirl Welcomed Back At White House Despite Supposed Ban.

Visitor logs reveal Cora Masters Barry, a Washington, D.C., city official, has visited the White House on at least two occasions after the Biden government claimed she had been banned for praising anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan. In mid-2022, Barry—who serves as the CEO of the city’s Recreation Wish List Committee—lauded Farrakhan, calling him a “friend,” and “member of the family,” adding, “I love you more than words will ever say.”

In response to the remarks, Joe Biden‘s deputy press secretary, Andrew Bates, said the capital city official would no longer be welcomed back at the White House. “The president has unequivocally condemned Louis Farrakhan and the hate he represents for decades and co-sponsored bipartisan legislation doing so,” Bates told Fox News in October of 2022. He added: “He also denounces any praise of Louis Farrakhan or his repugnant, antisemitic values, including in this case.”

TWO VISITS DESPITE BAN.

Despite the ban, the official visitor logs—which document individuals who attend official meetings and events at the White House—indicate Cora Masters Barry was welcomed back to the White House on at least two occasions, in June and December 2023. In June 2023, Barry attended a Juneteenth event on the White House lawn, which featured remarks from both Biden and Kamala Harris. The December 2023 event appears to be an evening reception attended by one hundred or more other individuals.

Cora Masters Barry is the widow of Marion Barry, who served as the mayor of Washington, D.C., from 1979 to 1991 and again from 1995 to 1999. In an infamous incident in 1990, Barry was arrested during an FBI sting after being caught on a hidden camera smoking crack cocaine with a prostitute. In the video of his arrest, Barry could be heard repeatedly muttering, “Bitch set me up.”

WHITE HOUSE’S FARRAKHAN PROBLEM.

This isn’t the first Farrakhan-connected individual to have been a frequent guest at the White House or to have influence in the Biden government. The National Pulse reported in late March that a Washington, D.C. environmentalist nonprofit, whose staff has ties to Farrakhan, has made numerous White House visits. In addition, the group’s CEO, Lennox Yearwood, has received public praise from Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Biden ‘Blesses’ Abortion, Openly Bashes Bible: ‘What the Hell Is In It?’

President Joe Biden appeared to bless abortions with the sign of the Cross, as well as mock the Bible in Florida on Tuesday. Christians expressed outrage after the incidents and questioned Biden’s claimed Catholic faith.

While Biden was being introduced to campaign volunteers in Tampa, Florida Democratic Party chairwoman Nikki Fried began discussing state abortion policy. Biden crossed himself ostentatiously during the remarks.

“His gesture openly mocks the Christian belief in the sanctity of life. There is no divine support for destroying the lives of innocent children, and he should know better,” said Brian Burch, President of CatholicVote, of the incident.

At a ‘Restore Roe’ rally the same day, the Democrat also mocked Lee Greenwood’s Trump-endorsed ‘God Bless the USA’ series of Bibles.

“[Trump] said there has to be punishment for women exercising their reproductive freedom… maybe it’s coming from that Bible he’s trying to sell. I almost wanted to buy one just to see what the hell is in it,” Biden jeered.

The ‘God Bless the USA’ Bibles include the King James Version of the Bible and the text of the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and Pledge of Allegiance, as well as a handwritten chorus to Greenwood’s ‘God Bless The USA.’
