Donald Trump on Planned Parenthood: What?

Donald Trump was on “Fox News Sunday” this weekend, and was asked about Planned Parenthood. Here’s exactly what he said (starts at 1:56):

WALLACE: Would you be willing to shut down the government in order to defund Planned Parenthood or to put some other key policy goals?

TRUMP:  I do not want to say that because I want to show unpredictability.  You have to.  You can’t just go around and say that. But Planned Parenthood should absolutely be defunded.  I mean if you look at what’s going on with that, it’s terrible.  And many of the things should be defunded and many things should be cut.

Wait, what? Does he support defunding Planned Parenthood or not? What is this “unpredictability” nonsense? That may work when you’re negotiating a business deal, which is probably what he was going for, but there’s no room for that when Planned Parenthood is selling dead baby parts. You’re either for it or against it, unless you’re Trump, who has flip-flopped several times on the issue. The Donald really ought to make up his mind.
