‘Totally Okay To Shoot You In The Head’: Schoolteacher Leaves Violent Voicemail for Republican Congressman Paul Gosar

Republican Congressman Paul Gosar was threatened by a caller who left a violent and vulgar message for him, insisting it was “totally okay for me to come with my gun and shoot you in the head” while promising to unleash “lots of protestors” on the Congressman.

The message, left with Rep. Gosar’s district office, follows Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi branding Republicans “enemies of the state” and an AntiFa brigade murdering Trump supporter Jay Bishop in Portland.

In addition to suggesting it would be “totally okay” to assassinate Rep. Gosar, the 36-second message calls the Congressman a “real big f*cking piece of sh*t” and promises to “send lots of protestors”:

“So, the way I see it, since you supported a child rapist who has 65 years of crimes and you are doing sh*t about Covid, and I’ve had people die, I think it’s totally ok for me to come with my gun and shoot you in the head. That’s what we think of you Mr. Gosar. You’re a murderer supporter, and you are just going down. Murderer, murderer, murderer supporter, you are going down. And we’ll make sure we send lots of protestors your way too. You’re a real big f*cking piece of sh*t.”

This is the fifth death threat received by the conservative Congressman over his tenure.

According to local reports, the caller appears to be Margaret Kathleen Spangenberg, a retired school teacher who resides in Glendale, a city outside of Rep. Gosar’s district.

Unearthed videos show Spangenberg instructing a class of first-graders, and her social media pages contain posts against Republican lawmakers:

Spangenberg attacks Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn.

The Capitol Police took the threat seriously, issuing a warning poster to Rep. Gosar’s office and instructing staff to call law enforcement if the woman showed up.

So far, no Democratic leaders or activists have condemned the call.

The news follows repeated attacks on Senator Rand Paul, as well as the shooting of Republican Congressmen including Rep. Steve Scalise at the Congressional baseball game practice in 2017. The 2017 assailant was a far-left activist, spurred on by his side’s violent rhetoric.
