China State Media Chief Celebrates Biden ‘Victory’, Says It Makes The CCP A Winner

Start

A BUREAU CHIEF OF CHINA’S STATE-RUN OUTLET CHINA DAILY APPEARED TO SUGGEST THAT THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY WAS A WINNER IN THE U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN RESPONSE TO THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA’S PROJECTED VICTORY FOR JOE BIDEN.

The November 8th tweet comes from Chen Weihua, a perennial Trump critic who serves as a mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist Party’s outlet as European Bureau Chief. China Daily is owned and operated by the CCP’s own Publicity Department.

Rebuking a Guardian article entitled “Russia and China Silence Speaks Volumes As Leaders Congratulate Biden,” Chen appears to push back on the narrative that the Chinese Communist Party had not offered its support to Biden.

He calls the article “garbage” and questions the notion that China is “likely loser from Trump defeat.” Chen, who works for a Chinese state-run outlet also pushes back on the Guardian’s assertion that China has failed to “congratulate” Biden, inquiring “Are you not following my tweets?”:

Such Guardian garbage. China likely loser from Trump defeat? Are you not following my tweets?

Therefore, Chen sees China as a winner in response to the media projecting a victory for Biden, which comes as no surprise.

While in government, the former veep routinely championed the selling out of America’s manufacturing base, intellectual property, and economic power to the Chinese Communist Party.

What’s more, his family members have profited from billion-dollar business deals with the Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks in sectors ranging from energy to manufacturing.
