Flordia Governor Ron DeSantis has seen his net approval rating tank since he announced his bid for the presidency.
A dynamic approval rating graph maintained by online pollster Civiqs puts DeSantis’s net approval at negative 19 points, with roughly 55 percent of respondents disapproving of him and 36 percent approving of him.

As recently as December his approval and disapproval ratings were tied at 47 percent apiece.
The findings appear to be further proof that DeSantis enjoyed no boost in support from his botched campaign launch, hosted by Elon Musk on Twitter Spaces.
Reporting the Civiqs findings, Newsweeknoted that Morning Consult polling shows Donald Trump thrashing his Floridian rival 56 percent to 22 percent among Republicans, with DeSantis’s current results “stagnant” compared to May 20th, when he was pulling 21 percent.
His best result was in January, when he managed 34 percent.

💬KEY QUOTE: “President Trump has decided to withdraw the United States from UNESCO—which supports woke, divisive cultural and social causes that are totally out-of-step with the commonsense policies that Americans voted for in November.” — Anna Kelly
🎯IMPACT: The decision underscores the administration’s America First foreign policy and its rejection of globalist ideological agendas.

The Trump administration announced Tuesday that the United States will exit the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). A specialized agency under the United Nations Economic and Social Council based in Paris, France, UNESCO is ostensibly tasked with promoting “cooperation in education, science, culture and communication to foster peace worldwide.” However, the Trump White House says the UN agency no longer “aligns with our national interests.”
“President Donald Trump has decided to withdraw the United States from UNESCO—which supports woke, divisive cultural and social causes that are totally out-of-step with the commonsense policies that Americans voted for in November,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly said on Tuesday, adding: “This President will always put America First and ensure our country’s membership in all international organizations aligns with our national interests.”
U.S. State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce confirmed the withdrawal from UNESCO, writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Today, the United States announced our decision to withdraw from UNESCO. Like many UN organizations, UNESCO strayed from its founding mission. Going forward, U.S. participation in international organizations must make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous.”
The Trump administration also cited UNESCO’s recognition of the “State of Palestine” as a Member State as a key issue. This decision, they argue, has contributed to anti-Israel rhetoric within the organization. The United States previously withdrew from UNESCO in October 2017 under similar circumstances, but the Bidengovernment rejoined the agency in 2023.
Notably, the move has already drawn a response from French President Emmanuel Macron, who pledged “Unwavering support for UNESCO, a universal guardian of science, the Ocean, education, culture, and world heritage,” in a post on X.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Britain, July 2025.
💬KEY QUOTE: “Dear Republican colleagues, please, please, please don’t choose Donald Trump as the front man for American Right-of-Centre politics. Please.” – James Cleverly in 2015.
🎯IMPACT: The move may further strain relations between the Conservative Party and President Donald J. Trump, who previously lamented that the party had gone “far left” in office.
IN FULL
Britain’s notionally center-right Conservative (Tory) Party has returned Sir James Cleverly, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Braintree, to the Shadow Cabinet. The move may further sour relations between the Conservatives, who governed Britain from 2010 to mid-2024, and the Trump administration, with Cleverly having a long history of criticizing President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.
Cleverly publicly begged Republicans not to nominate Trump as their candidate in 2015, writing on Twitter (now X), “Dear Republican colleagues, please, please, please don’t choose Donald Trump as the front man for American Right-of-Centre politics. Please.”
Following the America First leader’s election in 2016 and inauguration in 2017, Cleverly railed that “President Trump‘s immigration and Syrian refugee ban is indefensible, unworkable and almost certainly unconstitutional.” Conversely, he gushed over how much he enjoyed meeting former President Joe Biden in 2024, describing the Democrat as “a great friend to the UK” despite his barely concealed loathing for the British and especially the English.
More recently, Clevery has criticized Trump and Vance for their pro-peace foreign policy, particularly with respect to Ukraine. In March, he misinterpreted remarks by Vance that European troops “from some random country that hasn’t fought a war in 30 or 40 years” could not offer better security guarantees to Ukraine than the U.S. as referring to Britain, saying the Vice President was being “foolish and insulting.”
Despite his party’s name, Cleverly’s ideology leans more towards extreme liberalism rather than conservatism. For instance, he has written that he looks forward to a future of “free market labor movements”—i.e. open borders for foreign workers—and he subscribes to the woke-left view that “Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.”
The son of an immigrant from Sierra Leone, Cleverley insists that Britain’s social cohesion and sense of identity “is not being watered down by immigration,” arguing that anyone who says otherwise is “extremist and racist.”
“We have managed to stay British through immigration from the Romans, Saxons, Vikings, Normans, Huguenots, Jews, Irish, West Indians, West Africans, East Africans, Indians, Pakistanis, etc., etc., etc. Britishness evolved, but it did not diminish,” he claimed.
Nigeria-raised Conservative Party leader Olukemi “Kemi” Olufunto Adegoke Badenoch has previously described herself as a “first-generation immigrant,” although she was born in London. The party is rapidly declining in popularity under her leadership, with Nigel Farage’s populist Reform Party set to supplant it on the British right.

🎯IMPACT: Coca-Cola’s move may appeal to consumers seeking alternatives to high-fructose corn syrup.
IN FULL
On Tuesday, The Coca-Cola Company announced plans to release a new beverage using American cane sugar this fall, aiming to expand its Trademark Coca-Cola product lineup. The soda maker emphasized that this addition will diversify its offerings and bolster consumer choice.
In a recent Truth Social post, President Donald J. Trump claimed responsibility for the decision, stating, “I have been speaking to [Coca-Cola] about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so. I’d like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola. This will be a very good move by them — You’ll see. It’s just better!”
Coca-Cola’s official response said, “We appreciate President Trump’s enthusiasm for our iconic Coca-Cola brand. More details on new innovative offerings within our Coca-Cola product range will be shared soon.”
Until the 1980s, Coca-Cola used cane sugar in the U.S. before switching to high-fructose corn syrup, which has become ubiquitous in many foods and drinks due to government subsidies. The cane sugar-based formula is still used in places like Europe and Australia, and is currently imported from Mexico to the U.S., where it is called ‘Mexican Coke’ and enjoys a certain prestige.
Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a longtime critic of high-fructose corn syrup, noting how activist plutocrats such as Bill Gates use it to generate massive profits for themselves at the expense of public health.
While some vested interests are arguing that a shift from high-fructose corn syrup will hurt American farms, sugar cane is produced in the U.S., particularly in Florida and Louisiana, and it was once a major crop in Hawaii. U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands also cultivate it.

While it’s unclear whether the documents will reveal new narrative-changing details, they do include notes from the original investigation, interview transcripts, and intel on interactions with foreign agencies.
The release may also include controversial information about King’s private life, which some family members have expressed concern over.
Back up: King was assassinated in 1968 while standing on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel with friends. A man named James Earl Ray was blamed for the murder, but there are conspiracies that he was not the lone actor – or not the shooter at all.
Family Matters: MLK’s niece, Alveda King, reacted to the declassification, saying it was “a historic step towards the truth that the American people deserve.”
Transparency push: The release follows similar declassifications under President Trump related to the JFK and RFK assassinations. However, the public is still awaiting full transparency on Jeffrey Epstein.
Real talk from G: Isn’t it a shame that the first black U.S. president, Barack Obama, didn’t have the guts to challenge the intel agencies who wanted to keep the MLK files classified?
The last word goes to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who said: “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are ensuring that no stone is left unturned in our mission to deliver complete transparency on this pivotal and tragic event in our nation’s history. I extend my deepest appreciation to the King family for their support

💬KEY QUOTE: “Today, the Department of Justice honored Chairman Grassley’s request to release information relating to former-FBI Director James Comey’s failed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of highly classified information during her tenure as Secretary of State.” – Pam Bondi
🎯IMPACT: The documents provide transparency into the investigation, following long-standing requests for clarity on the matter.
IN FULL
Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed on Friday that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has made public a collection of documents related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. The disclosure follows repeated appeals from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who has consistently called for more openness in the investigation.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, Bondi credited Grassley’s persistence and highlighted the Justice Department’s broader mission to uphold transparency.
“Today, the Department of Justice honored Chairman Grassley’s request to release information relating to former-FBI Director James Comey‘s failed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of highly classified information during her tenure as Secretary of State. I commend Chairman Grassley for his unwavering, years-long commitment to exposing the truth and holding those who seek to conceal it accountable,” Bondi said.
The timing of the release coincides with renewed questions surrounding Bondi’s office, particularly in relation to how it has managed documents connected to the Jeffrey Epstein case. Of particular note are accusations that several minutes’ worth of footage surrounding the alleged suicide of Epstein is missing from supposedly “raw” surveillance footage from near his cell released by the DOJ and the FBI.
❓WHAT HAPPENED: Fears of an attack from Russia are prompting Germany to look urgently at replacing air-raid bunkers after shutting down nearly all of its Cold War-era facilities.

💬KEY QUOTE: “When I ask my friends what their stockpiling situation is… the usual joke is that they have enough red wine to last for a year.” – Tim Stuchtey of the Brandenburg Institute for Society and Security
🎯IMPACT: Germany is looking to prepare for what the country’s leadership seems to believe is an inevitable conflict with Russia.
IN FULL
Less than two decades after decommissioning its last air-raid bunkers, Germany is reversing course amid rising fears of a Russian attack. Of the 2,000 bunkers operational during the Cold War, only 580 remain—covering just 480,000 people, or 0.5 percent of the population. Many of those are mostly unusable.
“Maintenance and servicing of civil protection equipment is no longer taking place,” a government spokesman said. The remaining shelters, including those in the capital of Berlin, are “neither functional nor operational.”
Spurred by Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Germany has pledged to become “war-ready” by 2029, with military spending set to nearly double. “When I ask my friends what their stockpiling situation is… the usual joke is that they have enough red wine to last for a year,” said Tim Stuchtey of the Brandenburg Institute for Society and Security. “But it’s not enough for the Bundeswehr [military] to be ready. So must the whole of society.”
A 2024 classified plan, Operation Plan Germany, outlines infrastructure protection and NATO troop movement, with bunkers as a key component. “The government must define what it considers the threat to be. And secondly, what should be protected,” said Norbert Gebbeken of the University of the Bundeswehr, Germany’s armed forces. “Neither of these questions has been answered yet.”
Rather than rebuilding vast Cold War bunkers, authorities are identifying basements, garages, and subway stations that can be rapidly reinforced. “The idea is to use existing spaces and reinforce them,” said Gebbeken. “They aren’t entirely improvised. This is what we know from Israel and other places.”
Germany plans to shelter a million civilians by the end of 2026 and scale up. A mobile app is also in development to guide citizens to the nearest shelter and convert private rooms. “By signaling that we are… able and willing to defend our values, we contribute to our deterrent,” said Stuchtey. “We’re basically telling Russia: Don’t even think about it.”
While Germany looks to rearm and become one of the most powerful militaries in Europe, the country has been plagued by equipment shortages and a population that has a largely unfavorable view of service in the armed forces. A 2024 poll showed that less than a third of Germans, 32 percent, were willing to join the armed forces if Germany were attacked by a foreign adversary. A massive 57 percent said they would refuse to serve.

He’s 81 years old, he’s tired as shit. They give him Ambien to be able to sleep. He gets up on the stage, and he looks like he’s a deer in the headlights.” — Hunter Biden
🎯IMPACT: The former president’s son appeared to confirm that Joe Biden’s disastrous June 2024 debate performance was the result of old age and a prescription sedative.
Hunter Biden revealed his father, former President Joe Biden, may have still been experiencing the effects of the prescription sedative Ambien during his campaign-ending debate performance against President Donald J. Trump in June 2024. The son of the former president made the claim during a lengthy interview with social media personality Andrew Callaghan on his YouTube-hosted Channel 5 talk show.
“I’ll tell you what, I know exactly what happened in that debate. He [Joe Biden] flew around the world basically—the mileage he could have flown around the world three times. He’s 81 years old, he’s tired as shit. They give him Ambien to be able to sleep. He gets up on the stage, and he looks like he’s a deer in the headlights,” Hunter Biden claims, continuing: “And it feeds into every fucking story that anybody wants to tell. And Jake Tapper—with literally how many anonymous sources… if this was a conspiracy, Andrew, you know this, somehow the entirety of a White House—in which you’re literally living on top of each other—has kept their mouth shut about… you know… like what… what’s the conspiracy? That Joe Biden got old? Yeah, he got old. He got old before our eyes.”
Hunter Biden appears to suggest President Joe Biden had been given Ambien before the debate last year and ended up looking like a “deer in the headlights.”
The former president’s son goes on to note that the lack of support from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) allowed opposition to Biden’s re-election campaign post-debate to fester until he was forced to withdraw. However, importantly, Hunter Biden appears to confirm that his father was not only under the influence of a prescription sedative prior to the June debate, but that old age was, in fact, hampering his ability to run for re-election.
Notably, former President Joe Biden’s White House physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, has refused to testify before the House Oversight Committee regarding allegations that his boss suffered from cognitive decline while occupying the White House. The National Pulse previously reported that Dr. O’Connor abruptly left the hearing after pleading the Fifth. Two other senior Biden White House aides, Annie Tomasini and Anthony Bernal, have also refused to answer the committee’s questions, opting to plead the Fifth instead.

🎯IMPACT: The case being run by a judge appointed by former President Obama raises concerns that President Trump will not receive a fair hearing.
IN FULL
President Donald J. Trump has launched a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, its parent company News Corp, Dow Jones, and several others, alleging they published a false and defamatory report claiming he sent a sexually suggestive birthday card to deceased pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein in 2003.
The lawsuit, filed in the Southern District of Florida, has been assigned to U.S. District Court Judge Darrin P. Gayles. Judge Gayles was trumpeted by the left as the first openly gay black man confirmed to the federal bench when then-President Barack Obama appointed him in 2014.
Trump accuses the WSJ of fabricating the story and failing to present any legitimate proof, such as the alleged letter or evidence confirming he wrote it. “The reason for those failures is because no authentic letter or drawing exists,” Trump’s legal team argues in the complaint.
The suit also names high-profile defendants, including media mogul Rupert Murdoch, News Corp CEO Robert Thomson, publisher Dow Jones, and the two journalists responsible for the article. Trump’s lawyers allege the report was crafted with the intent to harm his reputation.

🎯IMPACT: The investigation could reignite scrutiny over the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative and its handling by the Obama administration.
IN FULL
The Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed on Monday that it received a criminal referral sent by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard to investigate Obama-era officials for “manufactured and politicized intelligence” regarding the Trump-Russia probe. Last week, Gabbard declassified documents that she claims implicate former President Barack Obama in the bogus allegations that Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia to interfere in the election.
On Friday, Gabbard described the declassified documents as exposing “a treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House to subvert the will of the American people and try to usurp the President from fulfilling his mandate.” She also promised that this was just the beginning: “We will be releasing more detailed information about how exactly this took place, and the extent to which this information was sought to be hidden from the American people.”
Additionally, the Director of National Intelligence indicated that criminal referrals were likely, which has now been confirmed.
Over the weekend, President Donald J. Trump shared an AI-generated video clip depicting the FBI arresting Obama in the Oval Office, with Obama shown handcuffed and brought to his knees in front of a smiling Trump.
Meanwhile, Trump applauded Gabbard’s move to declassify the files while reacting to a cable news discussion of the matter, writing on his Truth Social platform, “The Panel was fantastic on prosecuting Obama and the ‘thugs’ who have just been unequivocally exposed on highest level Election Fraud. Congratulations to Tulsi Gabbard. Keep it coming!!!”

💬KEY QUOTE: “Chairman Powell knowingly misled both Congress and executive branch officials about the true nature of a taxpayer-funded project. Lying under oath is a serious offense—especially from someone tasked with overseeing our monetary system and public trust.” – Anna Paulina Luna
🎯IMPACT: The referral raises questions about Powell’s integrity, and could lay the groundwork for the Federal Reserve chairman’s removal from his position “with cause.”
IN FULL
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is the subject of a criminal referral filed with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) by Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL). The Florida Republican alleges Powell made “materially false” claims and appeared to have committed perjury during his June 25 testimony before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs regarding renovations to the Federal Reserve’s headquarters.
“I have formally referred Jerome Powell to the DOJ for criminal investigation,” Rep. Luna posted on X (formerly Twitter). “Chairman Powell knowingly misled both Congress and executive branch officials about the true nature of a taxpayer-funded project. Lying under oath is a serious offense—especially from someone tasked with overseeing our monetary system and public trust.”
Luna alleges that Powell lied when he denied reports about luxurious upgrades to the Fed’s headquarters, including roof terrace gardens, premium marble finishes, and modernized elevators. According to Luna, these denials were inconsistent with project plans submitted to the National Capital Planning Commission. “The revised plan includes a VIP private dining room, premium marble finishes, modernized elevators, water features, and a roof terrace garden—features that Powell publicly denied existed,” she wrote.
Luna also criticized Powell for a letter he wrote to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russell Vought regarding the construction and its cost increase from $1.9 billion to $2.5 billion. Vought, who has scrutinized Powell over the renovations, compared it to France’s Palace of Versailles, a byword for extravagance and excess.
Luna’s letter stated, “The discrepancies between Chairman Powell’s sworn testimony and the factual record call for a thorough and impartial review by your office. The integrity of oversight and the trust placed in public officials, particularly those responsible for monetary policy and stewardship of taxpayer resources, demand accountability at the highest levels.”
In recent weeks, Powell has faced growing criticism from Republicans, with President Donald J. Trump urging him to resign before his term as chairman expires in May 2026. Trump has repeatedly called for interest rate cuts, clashing with Powell’s continued hesitation toward slashing borrowing costs.
