The Washington Post‘s new chief executive officer is a former executive with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During her time as CEO, the Gates Foundation employed Joe Biden’s niece, Casey Owens.
Patricia Q. Stonesifer, 67, has been on Amazon’s board of directors for close to 30 years and previously led Bill Gates’s controversial foundation. She previously served as a Microsoft executive and even helped to launch MSNBC in 1996. Stonesifer also ran Martha’s Table – a D.C. group assisting those on low incomes.
Stonesifer’s now-deleted biography on the Gates Foundation’s website notes that she is a member of the neo-conservative Council on Foreign Relations, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee for the Rockefeller Foundation.
A 2013 interview with The New York Times revealed that former President Barack Obama considered appointing Stonesifer as his domestic policy advisor, and that she kept a picture of him hanging in the lobby at nonprofit Martha’s Table.
In 2009, she attended what NBC described a “secret meeting” of billionaire activists including Bill Gates, George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, David Rockefeller Sr., Warren Buffett, and Oprah Winfrey.
Casey Owens, Biden’s niece, was subsequently hired from the Gates Foundation into the Obama-Biden government, where she and wielded considerable influence over U.S.-China relations.
The Gates Foundation has established many Chinese connections over the years, with The National Pulse revealing a collaboration with a Chinese Communist Party-linked genomics firm flagged for “mining” the DNA of Americans.
