Newly reviewed video footage, Secret Service records, and messages from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop reveal that he traveled to at least 13 countries with his father, Joe Biden, while the latter served as Vice President of the United States. The trips took place when Hunter was involved in his now-defunct firm Rosemont Seneca Partners, and included nations in Europe, Central America, Africa, and Asia. In one instance in April 2010, Hunter proposed traveling to Serbia with his father and business associate Mark Doyle, who was a registered foreign agent for Serbia at the time. The meeting fell through after a change in Hunter’s travel schedule.
During the Asia trip in December 2013, Hunter requested Secret Service protection, including during his visit to the Philippines, where he served as chairman of the World Food Program. Two years later, he accompanied his father on a Thanksgiving trip to Croatia and Italy, where he appeared in family photos. Hunter also traveled with Joe Biden to Germany in February 2013 for the Munich Security Conference. During that trip, Hunter introduced his father to his Chinese business partner, Jonathan Li, with whom Hunter’s firm Rosemont Seneca was securing a partnership. Hunter also traveled to Japan and South Korea during the same Asia trip, though he did not return home with his father.
Throughout the Obama administration, Hunter attended several White House state dinners and events recognizing foreign leaders. Footage aired on Fox News showed Hunter in Germany, Japan, China, South Korea, and Italy during his father’s visits abroad.
