In a video that has gone viral, celebrated guitarist Carlos Santana was filmed calling out radical gender ideology. The 76-year-old Mexican-American musician can be seen addressing the crowd between songs, stating: “You know who you are, and what you are… Because a woman is a woman and a man is a man – that’s it.”
Santana also made a reference to comedian Dave Chappelle, known for making jokes at the expense of those who hold extreme, pro-trans stances during his stand-up performances.
Last night at a concert in New Jersey, rock legend Carlos Santana said “when God made you and me, before we came out of the womb, you know who you are and what you are… a woman is a woman and a man is a man.”

Santana received applause from concert-goers when he made his remarks, but faced a predictable backlash from far-left activists, and felt compelled to issue an apology.
“I am sorry for my insensitive comments. They don’t reflect that I want to honor and respect all person’s ideals and beliefs,” he said. “I realize that what I said hurt people and that was not my intent. I sincerely apologize to the transgender community and everyone I offended.”
Last year, Santana experienced a health scare after collapsing on stage in Michigan. He was subsequently hospitalized and had to postpone some concert dates for his health and recovery.
