Almost half of black Britons under 25 – 39 percent – claim they are planning to migrate out of the country, alleging concerns over racism, according to a recently published study from the University of Cambridge’s Black British Voices Project.
Only 45 percent of the roughly 10,000 people surveyed said they consider Britain to be their “permanent home,” with another 16 percent answering that they are either unsure or would prefer not to say.
Less than half of the respondents – 49 percent – said that they are “at least somewhat proud to be British,” with 45 percent stating that they feel “little to no pride in Britishness.”
The study, which has been presented at a House of Commons event, also identified “high levels of distrust and discrimination” among black Britons regarding health, education, and criminal justice.
A whopping 95 percent said the country’s educational curriculum neglects black lives, 87 percent expect to receive “substandard levels of healthcare” due to their race, 79 percent believe stop and search police tactics – all but abandoned over fears of racism to the detriment of many black people – are still unfairly impacting them.
The publicly funded British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) recently began indoctrinating UK children with false information about black people being present throughout British history.
