Bizarro advice columnist and rape fantasist E Jean Carroll has admitted that former husband to Kelly Anne Conway, George Conway, convinced her to sue President Donald J. Trump following a meeting at a party hosted by far-left columnist Molly Jong-Fast. The claim, now confirmed by Carroll, was initially reported in April 2023.
In addition to Carroll’s admission over the far-left plot against Trump, she also disclosed under questioning by her own counsel that she told friends and colleagues she was okay, despite the President’s denials over sexually abusing her in a Bergdorf Goodman changing room in the mid-90s. When questioned about her upbeat demeanor, she responded in court on Wednesday: “That’s the public E. Jean.”

📍WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, near the historic city of Palmyra in the Syrian desert.
💬KEY QUOTE: “We are grateful for their service and deeply mourn their loss.” – Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R)
🎯IMPACT: The attack highlights ongoing security challenges in Syria and tests U.S.-Syrian cooperation under the country’s new government, led by former al-Qaeda terrorist Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, a.k.a. Abu Mohammad al-Julani.
IN FULL
The U.S. military has identified two Iowa National Guard members killed in a weekend ambush attack in Syria as Sergeant Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar, 25, of Des Moines, and Sgt. William Nathaniel Howard, 29, of Marshalltown. The attack, attributed to the Islamic State (ISIS) group, also claimed the life of a civilian U.S. interpreter and injured three other Guard members.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) ordered all flags in the state to fly at half-staff in honor of the fallen soldiers, stating, “We are grateful for their service and deeply mourn their loss.” The Pentagon confirmed that two of the injured Guard members are in stable condition, while the third is in good condition.
The incident occurred near the historic city of Palmyra, where a gunman, suspected of being part of an ISIS affiliate, opened fire during a meeting between U.S. and Syrian security officials. Syrian Interior Ministry spokesman Nour al-Din al-Baba described the attack as “a major security breach” but emphasized that Syrian security forces have achieved “many more successes than failures” since the fall of Bashar Assad’s former government. Notably, Syria’s new government is headed by a former al-Qaeda terrorist, Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa.
The assailant, who had recently been reassigned amid suspicions of ISIS affiliation, was killed after clashing with Syrian security officers. The attack comes as U.S. forces continue to work alongside Syrian security forces in the region, with hundreds of American troops deployed in eastern Syria as part of a coalition fighting ISIS.
U.S. President Donald J. Trump condemned the attack, stating that “there will be very serious retaliation” and claiming that President al-Sharaa was “devastated by what happened.” Trump recently welcomed al-Sharaa to the White House for a historic meeting, signaling a new era of cooperation between the two nations.

Four suspects accused of planning a New Year’s Eve terrorist attack in Los Angeles, California, were arrested on December 12 as they prepared to test homemade explosives at a remote site in the Mojave Desert, authorities revealed on Monday. Audrey Carroll, 30, Zachary Page, 32, Dante Gaffield, 24, and Tina Lai, 21, are reported to have self-identified as part of a far-left, pro-Palestinian extremist organization known as the Turtle Island Liberation Front.
“The Turtle Island Liberation Front—a far-left, pro-Palestine, anti-government, and anti-capitalist group—was preparing to conduct a series of bombings against multiple targets in California beginning on New Year’s Eve,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi, adding that the group “also planned to target ICE agents and vehicles.”
First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli explained that, “As part of the plan, the four defendants planned to build test bombs in the Mojave Desert.” He added that the “co-conspirators purchased multiple pieces of bomb-making materials and discussed their travel plans to the desert. Last Friday, December 12, the defendants took a significant step to carry out their plans. They traveled to the remote campsite… and they began unloading their bomb-making materials to assemble and test the bombs.”
Essayli stressed, “They had everything they needed to make an operational bomb at that location, and they were subsequently arrested by the FBI before they could build a functional device.”
Carroll, said to be the leader of the group, allegedly handed an eight-page handwritten document outlining the ‘Operation Midnight Sun’ bomb plot to a paid confidential source in November. Carroll and his co-conspirators are also said to be members of the Order of the Black Lotus, organized by Carroll around “everything radical.”

🎯IMPACT: The trial highlights ongoing issues with activist judges, sanctuary state and city officials, and far-left activists who have attempted to interfere with and impede ICE enforcement actions.

Hannah Dugan, a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge, is heading to trial and facing federal charges for allegedly obstructing immigration enforcement efforts. The charges stem from an incident on April 18, when Dugan was accused of helping an illegal immigrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, evade arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
According to the indictment, Dugan diverted federal agents away from the hallway where they planned to arrest Flores-Ruiz after his court appearance on domestic violence charges. The judge allegedly escorted Flores-Ruiz and his attorney out through a non-public door, allowing him to temporarily avoid capture. Flores-Ruiz was later arrested outside the courthouse after a brief pursuit.
Prosecutors claim Dugan acted “corruptly” and misled federal agents by stating that they required a judicial warrant to make the arrest. Witnesses also described her as “visibly angry” upon learning of the agents’ presence. Dugan, who has pleaded not guilty, has been suspended from her judicial duties while the case proceeds.
Dugan’s defense argues that she followed courthouse policies and acted in good faith, citing prior incidents of controversy surrounding illegal immigration arrests in courthouses. Her lawyers plan to argue that she notified a supervisor about the ICE agents, as instructed by policy.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Migrants attempting to reach England via small boats, the French Maritime Prefect, and Britain’s Home Office, roughly equivalent to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
📍WHEN & WHERE: December 2025, in the English Channel.
💬KEY QUOTE: “The number of small boat crossings are shameful and the British people deserve better,” a Home Office spokesman admitted.
🎯IMPACT: Over 40,000 migrants have crossed the Channel this year.
IN FULL
Nearly 800 migrants crossed the English Channel in small boats over the weekend, ending a weather-related 28-day pause in arrivals that had been the longest since 2018. Government figures show that 11 boats carrying more than 700 people reached England on December 13, followed by another vessel on December 14. This brought the total number of small boat crossings so far in 2025 to 40,081, compared with 45,755 recorded in the peak year of 2022.
French maritime authorities said several boats departed on Saturday, with a number of dangerous incidents reported at sea. The French Maritime Prefect claimed that, “Given the structural fragility of systematically overloaded boats, the choice is made not to force migrants to embark on the [French] state’s rescue [vessels], to avoid endangering their lives in the event of a shipwreck.” However, once in British territorial waters, boat migrants are generally brought aboard British vessels and transported the rest of the way to England without incident, bolstering suspicions that the French have little interest in stopping them. Media reports suggest that French authorities have even provided life jackets to migrants preparing to make the crossing at times.
A British Home Office spokesman condemned the continued arrivals, admitting that the “number of small boat crossings are shameful and the British people deserve better,” while claiming that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour Partygovernment “is taking action.”
“We have removed almost 50,000 people who were here illegally, and our historic deal with the French means those who arrive on small boats are now being sent back,” the spokesman claimed—although most of these 50,000 removals were voluntary and very few were boat migrants, and the French “one-in, one-out” returns deal is failing.
Pressure on the British asylum system continues to grow. The backlog of asylum appeals has nearly doubled over the past year, reaching 69,670 by September, despite the previous Conservative (Tory) Party government’s to clear it by rubber-stamping thousands of claims with minimal vetting.

💬KEY QUOTE: “For 20 minutes. They shoot, shoot. Change magazines. And just shoot,” said eyewitness Shmulik Scuri.
🎯IMPACT: The attack, the deadliest in Australia since 1996, has sparked concerns over terrorism targeting Jewish communities and raised questions about law enforcement response times and effectiveness in a country where regular citizens cannot carry arms for self-defense.
IN FULL
Eyewitness Shmulik Scuri has suggested that Sunday’s harrowing 20-minute attack at Bondi Beach’s Chanukah by the Sea event in Australia, in which two gunmen opened fire on a crowd of Jewish people, may have been worsened as a result of police officers at the scene appearing to freeze and initially fail to return fire.
“For 20 minutes. They shoot, shoot. Change magazines. And just shoot,” Scuri, who is Israeli, told reporters. He added, “Twenty minutes, there was four policemen there. Nobody give fire back. Nothing. Like they froze. I don’t understand why.” The attackers targeted men, women, children, and elderly people indiscriminately, according to Scuri.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has renewed a push for greater gun control following the attack, despite the loss of life—at least in part—possibly being due to the lack of police action in the initial moments of their response to the attack. Notably, one of the gunmen was disarmed not by Australian law enforcement but by fruit shop owner Ahmed al-Ahmed. The unarmed fruit shop owner tackled the gunman and ripped away his rifle, disrupting his attack until he could rearm himself with another firearm. Still, Australian officials insist that further restricting firearms among the general law-abiding public is preferable to allowing Australians to carry firearms for self-defense.
The attack left 11 people dead, including British-born Rabbi Eli Schlanger, 41, a Holocaust survivor, and a young girl. Police later identified the attackers as Naveed Akram, 24, and his father, Pakistani immigrant Sajid Akram. Improvised explosive devices were found in their vehicle. The two men are believed to have pledged support to the Islamic State (ISIS) prior to the attack.
Authorities confirmed one of the gunmen was on the Australian Security Intelligence Organization watchlist but had not been classified as an immediate threat before the attack.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The boss does not accept interview requests from anyone for any purpose.” – Xu’s company representative
🎯IMPACT: The discovery of the surrogacy scheme is raising new questions regarding America’s birthright citizenship laws and potential impacts on U.S. national security.
IN FULL
A Chinese billionaire game developer has been discovered to have fathered around a dozen children in the United States through surrogacy, though some indications suggest he plans—or at least planned—to have upwards of 200 children born to American surrogate mothers. Xu Bo—the reclusive founder of China’s largest mobile gaming enterprise, Duoyi Network—is not alone in his paternal ambitions, as the trend of wealthy Chinese businessmen, often with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), has increasingly seen them seeking out surrogate mothers in the United States.
The trend is raising serious concerns regarding U.S. national security, as these children will likely grow up to inherit control of companies well entrenched in China’s political, military, and intelligence apparatuses while also enjoying the benefits of American birthright citizenship. In the case of Xu Bo, his fathering of at least 12 children through surrogacy with American mothers was uncovered during a review of surrogacy petitions by Los Angeles family court Judge Amy Pellman.
Attempts by a number of media outlets to seek clarification from Xu Bo were stonewalled by his company. “The boss does not accept interview requests from anyone for any purpose,” a Duoyi Network spokesman toldThe Wall Street Journal.
However, the trend isn’t just confined to Xu Bo. Additional investigations have found hundreds of surrogate children in America who have been fathered by wealthy Chinese corporate executives. This trend appears to be fueled in large part by the country’s lopsided male-to-female population ratio and the CCP’s anti-surrogacy laws. Seeking politically advantageous heirs to their corporate empires in China, these men have subsequently sought out American women to provide them with male children through the United States’ comparatively unregulated surrogacy market.
The surrogate children could pose serious national security concerns in the future, as the companies they are set to inherit—by and large—have deep ties to the CCP and the Chinese military and intelligence apparatus. It is notable that people and companies that enjoy outsized success in China often do so not just because of market forces, but also because of their ties to influential figures within the communist state.
Additionally, the discovery of the surrogacy scheme is raising new questions regarding America’s birthright citizenship laws, which currently grant automatic citizenship to any child born within the legal borders of the United States. President Donald J. Trump issued an Executive Order earlier this year ending birthright citizenship. However, Democrat lawmakers challenged the policy change, and a federal appeals court subsequently ruled the Executive Order unconstitutional.
Currently, the fate of birthright citizenship is pending before the U.S. Supreme Court, with oral arguments and final decision expected next year.

🎯IMPACT: Law enforcement continues to search for the gunman, while officials claim there is no ongoing threat.
IN FULL
Law enforcement officials in Rhode Island announced the release of an individual initially detained as a person of interest in a shooting at Brown University that has left two dead. At a press conference late Sunday, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha stated that while initial evidence led authorities to the detained individual, further investigation pointed in a different direction.
“There was some degree of evidence that pointed to this individual, but that evidence needed to be corroborated and confirmed. That evidence now points in a different direction. So what that means is that this person of interest needs to be, and should be released,” Neronha stated. The release of the person of interest came just one day after an unidentified gunman entered an engineering classroom and fired on students studying for a final exam.
Neronha also criticized the leak of the detained individual’s identity to the media, calling it “unfortunate” and adding, “It’s hard to put that back in the bottle, OK? So we’re going to proceed very carefully here. There is too much at stake for the victims of this horrific crime and their families to take chances with respect to this investigation.”
Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez clarified that the individual released was not the person shown in surveillance footage shared by the police. “Authorities are still looking for the individual captured on video,” he noted. At the same press conference, Providence Mayor Brett Smiley reassured the public, saying, “We have not received any credible or specific threats to the Providence community.”
Rhode Island Governor Daniel McKee (D) confirmed that he had informed Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel about the release of the person of interest and that federal resources would remain available for the ongoing investigation. Law enforcement continues to search for the gunman responsible for the attack.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Her planned resignation at the end of the month should not be seen as a voluntary choice, but as an inevitable consequence that should have occurred much earlier. Chief Smith should resign today.” — James Comer
🎯IMPACT: The report alleges a toxic internal culture, manipulated crime data, and an erosion of public trust in the D.C. police department under Chief Smith’s leadership.
IN FULL
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has accused Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Chief Pamela Smith of manipulating department data to maintain the appearance of low crime rates. The allegations surfaced in an interim staff report released on Sunday by the committee, which included testimony from commanders across all seven D.C. patrol districts and a former commander on suspended leave.
According to the report, Smith punished officers who reported accurate crime numbers and fostered a toxic work environment. Commanders allege that Smith pressured them to downgrade crimes to less serious offenses to keep them out of public crime databases. One commander recounted being instructed to reclassify a shooting as “endangerment with a firearm,” which made the incident invisible to the public.
Smith’s resignation, announced last week and effective at the end of December, follows two years as D.C.’s police chief. While Smith cited personal reasons for her departure, the House committee’s report suggests her resignation is tied to its investigation. “The Committee is releasing this interim report in light of Chief Smith’s resignation to add context to this decision, to protect witnesses from retaliation, and to inform both District residents and the American public at large,” the report stated. Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) went further, stating: “Her planned resignation at the end of the month should not be seen as a voluntary choice, but as an inevitable consequence that should have occurred much earlier. Chief Smith should resign today.”
The investigation also highlighted concerns over the Secure D.C. bill, which created new categories of intermediate offenses that the report claims Smith exploited to manipulate crime data. Commanders described a culture of fear under Smith’s leadership, with one saying, “Commanders frequently feared for their jobs when having to brief Chief Smith on a rise in crime.”
House Oversight Chairman Comer, who launched the investigation in August, criticized Smith’s tenure, saying, “Every single person who lives, works, or visits the District of Columbia deserves a safe city, yet it’s now clear the American people were deliberately kept in the dark about the true crime rates in our nation’s capital.”

The father-and-son attackers who executed a deadly mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration on Australia’s Bondi Beach on Sunday reportedly pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS). Flags for the jihadist group were discovered in their vehicle.
Pakistani immigrant Sajid Akram, 50, and his son Naveed Akram, 24, armed with rifles, killed at least 15 people—including a 10-year-old girl, a Holocaust survivor, and a London-born rabbi. Police fatally shot Sajid Akram during the incident, while Naveed Akram was critically wounded and is now under guard in a Sydney hospital.
Just weeks earlier, the pair had traveled back to Australia after a trip to Mindanao Island in the Philippines. New South Wales Police, the Australian Federal Police, and the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation are examining their activities on the island, which has long been regarded as an extremist hotspot.
