Judge Allows Trump Testimony In Carroll Defamation Case.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan has given former President Donald Trump the go-ahead to testify in writer E. Jean Carroll’s impending defamation suit against him.

Kaplan’s order, issued Sunday, set Trump’s testimony for Monday, January 22, and followed a filing by Trump’s attorney Alina Habba, who argued that the former president can “still offer considerable testimony in his defense.”

Habba noted that an individual seeking punitive damages in a defamation case in New York must prove libelous statements were made out of hatred or ill will and argued that Trump should be allowed to testify as to whether hatred or ill will were behind his comments that Carroll claims are defamatory. Trump expressed his intention to testify at the trial earlier this month.

This suit against Trump is the second one filed on Carroll’s behalf for defamation. Last year, a jury granted Carroll $5 million in damages for sexual abuse and defamation in a separate lawsuit against him. Carroll brought legal action against Trump after he dismissed her sexual assault claim, which allegedly occurred in a Manhattan department store in the 1990s, and described her as a deceitful “wack job.”

Trump previously requested a one-week postponement of the trial, due to start Tuesday, to attend his mother-in-law’s funeral, which Kaplan denied. Kaplan also previously ordered that Trump is not allowed to argue that he never raped Carroll, a bizarre ruling given that Trump’s denial of the allegations is at the heart of Carroll’s defamation case against him.

America’s Globalist Junta Openly Brags How It’ll Stop Trump in 2nd Term.

With Donald Trump regularly beating Joe Biden in national and swing state polls, a “loose-knit network of public interest groups and lawmakers is quietly devising plans” to stop the America First leader from implementing his Agenda 47 policies.

“We’re already starting to put together a team to think through the most damaging types of things that [Trump] might do so that we’re ready to bring lawsuits if we have to,” explained Institution for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection executive director Mary McCord.

Democracy Forward president Skye Perryman said her organization was also “preparing for litigation and preparing to use every tool in the toolbox that our democracy provides to provide the American people an ability to fight back” against a second Trump administration.

“We believe this is an existential moment for American democracy and it’s incumbent on everybody to do their part,” she added – although a reelected Trump would have a democratic mandate, while her organization has none.

Anti-Trump activists and nonprofits are already using lawfare tactics to try and stop Trump from running for the presidency at all, successfully having him removed, at least temporarily, from primary ballots in Colorado and Maine.

The “network” is particularly concerned about Trump using the military to execute his policies, which include immediately securing the border and mass deportations of illegal aliens, by invoking the Insurrection Act.

The leading Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Adam Smith, issued a crass warning that Trump is “going to be one creative motherf***er when it comes to trying to figure out how to abuse [power].”

“Whatever your guess is, open up your imagination a little more,” he said.

Alternative for Deutschland Lawmaker: ‘We Will Return Foreigners to Homelands By the Millions.’

René Springer, Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) member of the Bundestag for Brandenburg, vowed this week that AfD will deport foreigners from Germany by the millions.

Springer’s comments came in response to a prominent media narrative in Germany that AfD has “secret” plans to deport foreigners. “We will return foreigners to their homeland. By the millions,” Springer posted on X. “This is not a secret plan. This is a promise. For more security. For more justice. To preserve our identity. For Germany.”

The most prominent and successful national-conservative and populist Party in Germany, AfD has been on the ascendency in recent years as the migrant crisis in Europe continues to spiral out of control, and made significant gains in the 2023 local elections in Germany. The success of the pro-Germany, anti-globalist AfD has led to efforts by its opponents to ban it.

Springer, a navy veteran who deployed to Afghanistan, has sat in the Bundestag since 2017 and serves as the personal advisor to AfD co-founder Dr. Alexander Gauland. He, along with several other young AfD members, was part of the “Münzenmaier network” which sought to professionalize AfD’s image and is largely responsible for the Party’s continued success.

Biden Regime Signals Its Approval of Poland’s New Globalist Govt Jailing Its Opponents.

Poland’s Minister of Justice, Adam Bodnar, says Joe Biden’s White House “positively assesses” authoritarian measures taken by the country’s new, globalist government to restore what they euphemistically term “the rule of law.”

In the past few weeks, Poland’s new globalist Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, has shut down state television and radio, firing the conservatives appointed to it under the previous government. A judge has deemed this move unlawful, but Tusk is pressing on with the “reforms.”

Tusk has also had the former interior minister, Mariusz Kamiński, and his deputy Maciej Wąsik jailed and expelled from the Sejm – roughly equivalent to the U.S. House of Representatives. They were dragged to prison from the presidential palace, despite having been issued with pardons by President Andrzej Duda. The authoritarian move sparked mass protests in Warsaw this week.

“I am glad that Ambassador Mark Brzezinski positively assesses the ministry’s activities leading to the restoration of the rule of law in Poland,” Bodnar boasted in an official statement, after meeting with U.S. Ambassador Brzezinski.

Brzezinski is the brother of MSNBC morning host Mika Brzezinski and Bush-era appointee Ian Brzezinski. The three are the offspring of Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski.

Tusk’s regime, backed by the EU, is also attempting to disregard all the judicial appointments and reforms of the previous government, ignoring decisions by the Constitutional Tribunal and by Supreme Court judges it dislikes.

The U.S. Embassy has been actively funding globalist-left politics in Poland, providing grants to a nonprofit that brought illegal aliens to meet the Sejm’s new globalist speaker, for example.

D.C.’s New Min Wage is Driving Prices Up, Employment and Tips Down, and Customers OUT.

The hospitality sector is withering on the vine in Washington D.C., as ill-judged leftist policies on tipped workers drive prices up and employment down, and soaring crime scares customers away.

Led by Mayor Muriel Bowser and a Council comprised entirely of Democrats and “independents” who were formerly Democrats, the U.S. capital recently began implementing Initiative 82, a ballot measure increasing tipped workers’ base wage more than threefold.

As a result, full-service restaurant employment – previously up 17 percent – is down by four percent since the changes took effect in May. A majority of surveyed restaurateurs say they now intend to lay off workers, while almost a third intend to close venues, and half intend to begin operating in neighboring Maryland or Virginia.

Surviving servers have also seen mixed results. With employers increasing prices and adding surcharges to bills to meet the rise in payroll costs, they now have fewer customers, many of whom are less willing to tip generously. Some staff are actually taking home less money now, despite the increase in their base wage.

The capital’s crime wave is also hurting the sector. Homicide is up over a third, and car theft by a staggering 82 percent. The Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL) now intend to leave for Virginia, with the Chinatown area where they once played – supporting an ecosystem of restaurants catering to sports fans – having become increasingly crime-ridden.

Many residents are staying home or driving to the safer, less costly, neighboring states to dine out, rather than risk an encounter with an armed carjacker or robber. Restaurateurs say the “spike in violent crime” has contributed significantly to the sector’s struggles.

Initiative 82 passed with 75 percent support amongst DC’s predominantly liberal and far-left residents.

John Kerry Quits White House Climate Envoy Job.

John Kerry, President Biden’s special envoy for climate, is planning to step down from the Biden regime by spring, as told by two people privy to his plans. Serving as the principal diplomat on climate change since 2021, Kerry’s primary role has been to persuade worldwide governments to significantly reduce their greenhouse emissions. During his tenure, he led the U.S. team at three UN climate summits, reestablishing American declinism after the U.S.’ withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement under the Trump administration.

Kerry also championed cooperation between the U.S. and the Chinese Communist Party.

Earlier this week, Kerry met with Joe Biden in the White House, informing the president of his intention to resign. His decision was relayed to his staff during an impromptu meeting on Saturday.

While no successor has been mentioned, Kerry has expressed his intention to leave in the coming months. He plans to attend the forthcoming World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The White House and Kerry have not responded to comment requests; Kerry’s plans were initially reported by Axios.

Desperate Biden Campaign Hires AOC, Jon Stewart Staffers to Burnish Leftist Credentials.

The reelection campaign for President Joe Biden has hired Andy Crystal, who previously worked in research for “comedians” Jon Stewart and Hasan Minhaj, as Lauren Hitt, who most recently served as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) communications director.

“We’re excited to welcome Andy and Lauren to the already talented and fierce communications team working to reelect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Michael Tyler, Biden’s communications director, said in a statement published by POLITICO on Saturday.

Concerns from Democratic operatives regarding the speed of campaign expansion, particularly in swing states, appear to have prompted this latest recruitment drive.

The news comes as thousands of far-leftists descend on Washington, D.C. to protest the Biden government’s approach to the Israel-Hamas war. The campaign has experienced several resignations and flare-ups as a result of the conflict, with staffers recently writing to their boss stating: “your administration’s response to Israel’s indiscriminate bombing in Gaza has been fundamentally antithetical to [our] values — and we believe it could cost you the 2024 election.”

China Stooges Lose Taiwan Election to Independence Stalwarts.

Vice President William Lai, the candidate of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has claimed victory in Taiwan’s presidential election. According to results from 95 percent of the polling stations, Lai holds an insurmountable lead over his closest competitor, Hou Yu-ih of the opposition Kuomintang party, who has reportedly conceded defeat.

Lai, who currently serves as Taiwan’s Vice President, has been a staunch advocate for Taiwan’s independence from China, rejecting President Xi Jinping’s territorial claims amidst increasingly hostile rhetoric.

Lai expressed his determination to safeguard Taiwan from ongoing Chinese threats and intimidation, insisting his government will aim to replace confrontation with dialogue in its exchanges with mainland China.

Chen Binhua, the PRC’s Taiwan Affairs Office spokesman, warned last Wednesday that if Taiwan’s governing Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) “continue[s] to stubbornly adhere to their Taiwan independence position… we support the relevant departments taking further measures in accordance with the regulations.”

Lai’s electoral success may incite tensions with China, which derided him as a dangerous separatist prior to the election and dismissed his calls for discussions. The DPP outrightly rejects the “one China principle”, considering Taiwan and Hong Kong indivisible parts of the country. Despite Taiwan’s independence since the 1940s, China persists in its claims over the island nation and its territories, and has threatened force to accomplish its objectives.

WATCH: Laura Loomer Catches Panicked Ron DeSantis in Hotel Sundry Room… Seriously.

Guerilla journalist Laura Loomer caught Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at his hotel in Iowa on Friday, after months of the presidential hopeful ducking her questions, often having her removed from his public events.

Loomer, a self-declared Trump supporter, has broken more stories about DeSantis, his operation, and his donor network than almost all corporate media outlets combined, in recent months.

“I got him as he was walking into his hotel, and he hid from me inside the hotel convenience store,” Loomer said. “His staff shoved me so that he could get away from me. But, I didn’t back down! Ron’s soul literally left his body when he saw me.”

In the video, below, Loomer asks DeSantis when he is going to drop out of the GOP primary and when he intends to endorse President Trump. She also quizzes him on his now infamous abandonment of Florida, leaving the state to be run by Jeanette Nunez, who compared Donald Trump to the KKK.
