Second Boeing Whistleblower Dies Suddenly.

Whistleblower Joshua Dean, who previously lodged criticisms against Boeing and its supplier Spirit AeroSystems regarding safety transgressions, has died at age 44. Dean testified against both companies in a shareholder lawsuit, alleging that Spirit neglected to heed warnings about manufacturing defects in the controversial 737 Max. He was terminated from his job as a quality auditor last April and claimed in an interview that his dismissal was meant as a warning to others.

Dean passed away on Tuesday, reportedly following a swift deterioration in his health due to pneumonia, MRSA, and complications related to a stroke. The news of his death came as a shock to his family, friends, and former colleagues. Joe Buccino, a spokesman for Spirit AeroSystems, described Dean’s death as “stunning news here at Spirit and for his loved ones.”

John Barnett, another Boeing whistleblower, was found dead with a “self-inflicted” gunshot wound amidst a lawsuit against the company. Barnett said he suffered retaliation after identifying safety issues with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Before his death, Barnett told friends that if anything happened to him, it would not be suicide.

A MATTER OF TIME.

Boeing continues to deny allegations made by Dean and other whistleblowers, maintaining that it did not willfully overlook safety warnings.

Another whistleblower, engineer Sam Salehpour, told Congress in April that it is only a matter of time before a Boeing aircraft experiences a catastrophic disaster. An audit of Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) exposed dozens of safety issues. This followed high-profile incidents involving doors blowing out mid-flight, tires falling off aircraft, and scores of passengers being injured after being hurled into a Dreamliner’s ceiling.

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire has said he will not fly Boeing due to safety concerns — although the French government is a part-owner of Boeing’s main competitor, Airbus.

Migrants Who Can’t Be Sent Home Will Be Deported Elsewhere: ICE Memo.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A memo from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) outlined plans to deport illegal migrants to third countries if their country of origin refuses to accept them.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: ICE acting Director Todd Lyons, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and the State Department.

💬KEY QUOTE: “It’s incredibly important to make sure we get these worst of the worst out of our country.”— Kristi Noem.

🎯IMPACT: The policy could streamline deportations, making it easier to remove migrants from countries whose governments are uncooperative on accepting returns.

IN FULL

A newly revealed memo from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) outlines a policy allowing for the deportation of certain migrants to third countries when their home governments decline to accept their return. The directive, which is marked as effective immediately, was issued by Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

Under the new guidelines, ICE may carry out deportations with as little as six hours’ notice in urgent or “exigent” situations. The memo describes a process to address longstanding challenges where some countries refuse to cooperate with repatriation requests.

Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem described the initiative as a critical tool for removing individuals with serious criminal records. “It’s incredibly important to make sure we get these worst of the worst out of our country,” she said. She also noted that the U.S. State Department has negotiated arrangements with nations willing to temporarily accept migrants until their original countries agree to take them back.

The policy follows a recent Supreme Court ruling that allows the federal government to proceed with third-country removals, even in cases where diplomatic guarantees regarding safety—such as protections against torture or persecution—are not fully secured.

DHS has not released the full list of countries participating in these third-country transfers, but officials emphasized that each case would be reviewed individually. Supporters of the policy argue it is necessary to ensure the removal of migrants within the immigration enforcement system, especially for those with criminal convictions.

Kennedy Center’s ‘Les Misérables’ Sells Out, Exceeds Revenue Goals Under Trump and Grenell.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Kennedy Center concluded a five-week run of Les Misérables with impressive results, surpassing revenue expectations. Performances by musician Lindsey Stirling also sold out.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Chairman Donald J. Trump, President Richard “Ric” Grenell, and the center’s patrons.

📍WHEN & WHERE: July, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The overwhelming success of Les Miz reaffirms our commitment to bring back productions that draw large crowds of patrons which exceed both artistic and financial expectations.” – Richard Grenell

🎯IMPACT: The production generated 135 percent of planned revenue and raised an additional $10.2 million, attracting over 85,000 attendees.

IN FULL

The reformed Kennedy Center recently wrapped up a successful five-week run of the musical Les Misérables, which exceeded financial projections by generating 135 percent of the planned revenue, cementing its newfound success under the Trump administration.

The production kicked off with an exceptional opening night fundraiser, which raised an additional $10.2 million. The show attracted over 85,000 patrons throughout the run, demonstrating its wide appeal and success.

Richard Grenell, appointed President of the Kennedy Center by Donald Trump, who has personally taken over as the center’s chairman, noted the significance of the production’s success, stating, “The overwhelming success of Les Miz reaffirms our commitment to bring back productions that draw large crowds of patrons which exceed both artistic and financial expectations.”

Musician Lindsey Sterling also achieved sold-out performances at the center in recent days.

The Kennedy Center’s ability to draw such large audiences reflects its ongoing commitment to providing high-quality performances that resonate with the public and meet financial goals. Previously, President Trump believed the institution was being corrupted by a focus on “woke” ideology. However, he and First Lady Melania Trump have both enjoyed performances at the center since the reforms.

Earlier this month, The National Pulse reviewed the Kennedy Center-hosted Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony, praising its achievement in pulling together “blue-collar dads, pearl-draped matrons, theater nerds, political climbers, and Gen Z TikTokers alike” in mutual appreciation.

RFK Jr. Scores Another ‘MAHA’ Win as Ice Cream Makers Remove Synthetic Dyes.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: American ice cream makers are set to remove artificial food dyes from their products by 2028.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: A group of 40 producers, representing over 90 percent of American ice cream volume, and the International Dairy Foods Association.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Announced in July, at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), with a target completion by the end of 2027.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I am proud of ice cream makers and dairy foods companies for stepping up for American families by making this voluntary commitment,” said Michael Dykes, CEO of the International Dairy Foods Association

🎯IMPACT: Further aligns the food system with ‘Make America Healthy Again’ standards, removing harmful artificial dyes.

IN FULL

American ice cream manufacturers have pledged to eliminate a range of artificial colors from their products by 2028. This effort is part of a broader initiative led by Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to phase out synthetic dyes from the nation’s food supply.

The commitment involves 40 producers who account for more than 90 percent of the ice cream sold in the U.S., as reported by the International Dairy Foods Association. Among the colors to be removed are Red No. 3, Red 40, Green 3, Blue 1, Blue 2, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6.

Michael Dykes, CEO of the dairy trade group, praised the ice cream industry for the move, saying, “I am proud of ice cream makers and dairy foods companies for stepping up for American families by making this voluntary commitment to provide ice cream and frozen dairy treats without certified artificial colors.”

The pledge will not apply to ice cream made with non-dairy ingredients or those produced by small shops and restaurants. However, many companies have already removed certain artificial colors, and others may do so before the 2028 deadline.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the use of gardenia to color foods blue, marking the fourth natural color approval in recent months.

Kraft Heinz has already announced that it will remove petroleum-based artificial dyes from its American products by the end of 2027, as has Hershey Co., among other firms.

Farage’s Trump-Inspired UK DOGE Finds Taxpayers Are Buying Netflix, Fast Food for Migrants.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Nigel Farage’s Reform Party has exposed taxpayer-funded spending on fast food, entertainment, and other luxuries for illegal immigrants.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Reform Party, Kent County Council, and other municipal governments.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Findings from councils controlled by the Reform Party, published in 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Illegal migrants get a free life of leisure whilst British families struggle.” – Nigel Farage

🎯IMPACT: Findings expose lavish, questionable spending on migrants and underscore the rising costs of the asylum system.

IN FULL

Local spending audits led by Reform Party officials in the United Kingdom have sparked fresh debate over taxpayer-funded support for asylum seekers, with allegations that public money is being used to buy migrants fast food, streaming services, and leisure activities.

Nigel Farage’s Trump-inspired municipal government efficiency team, known as the DOGE unit, has flagged excessive and mismanaged spending by councils on services for migrants, particularly those who entered the country illegally. The team, inspired by the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cost-cutting initiative, claims it has already identified the equivalent of over $51.6 million in savings by cutting “green initiatives.”

According to figures published in the British press, over $152,220 has been spent by councils on fast food purchases for migrants, including orders from Domino’s, McDonald’s, and Pizza Express—sometimes funded through education budgets. In addition, more than $12,900 went toward Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions. Recreational trips were also recorded, including visits to safari parks, circuses, and minigolf venues.

Spending by Kent County Council stood out in particular: it reportedly paid $208,074 to Amazon, $90,372 to British retailer Argos, and $14,846 to electrical goods and technology retailer Currys, with the items said to be for use by asylum seekers. Reform’s DOGE head Zia Yusuf criticised the expenditures, saying, “It’s clear that those who came to the country illegally are enjoying better lifestyles than many of the taxpayers who fund all this.”

The Migration Watch UK think tank also weighed in, with Chairman Alp Mehmet stating the findings highlight “hidden costs of the uncontrolled asylum system.”

In response, Kent County Council defended its spending, noting that much of the money went toward supporting supposed unaccompanied minors and young asylum seekers who are legally entitled to care under British law. Furnishing their accommodation and providing basic entertainment is intended to support their mental wellbeing and development.

The figures released by Reform only cover councils under the party’s control since this year’s municipal elections, suggesting that national totals may be significantly higher. A recent report by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) estimated that housing for asylum seekers alone cost taxpayers around $6.06 billion in 2023/24, with total spending on the asylum system reaching a record $6.94 billion that year.

Orban Demands Justice After Hungarian-Ukrainian Citizen ‘Beaten to Death’ in Forced Conscription.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A Hungarian-Ukrainian dual citizen was reportedly beaten to death during forced conscription in Ukraine.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Victim József Sebestyen, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Ukrainian authorities, and European Union (EU) officials.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The incident occurred near the Hungarian border, reported in July 2025.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The victim belongs to our community, not only in the cultural and national sense of the word but also in terms of public law.” – Viktor Orbán

🎯IMPACT: The incident has heightened tensions between Hungary and Ukraine and raised questions about Ukraine’s EU and NATO membership aspirations.

IN FULL

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has strongly condemned the death of a Hungarian-Ukrainian dual citizen, József Sebestyen, who was allegedly beaten to death during forced conscription in Ukraine. He emphasized the importance of this issue, stating, “This must be taken seriously,” and noted the victim’s connection to Hungary culturally, ethnically, and in terms of public law.

Orbán criticized the cautious language of some news reports in relation to the incident, insisting that the individual was not merely a conscription casualty but was “beaten to death”. He called for a thorough investigation into the matter and stressed the need to support the victim’s family, while also questioning Ukrainian authorities.

Orbán, a European Union (EU) and NATO leader, highlighted the broader implications of the incident, connecting it to Ukraine’s desire for EU membership. He argued that a country where forced conscription can result in death should not be part of the EU.

“They say we create tension and damage Hungarian-Ukraine relations in vain. They say this after beating a a Hungarian citizen to death. Enough is enough,” he said, noting that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen are currently “discuss[ing] ways to prevent a Hungarian veto on Ukraine’s European Union accession.”

“A waste of time. No way. They should instead discuss how to prevent people from dying from forced conscription,” he said.

Orbán also dismissed Ukrainian military claims that the death was not due to abuse, labeling their explanation unsatisfactory. He reiterated the need for diplomacy and peace negotiations, rather than continued conflict, as the path forward.

In addition, Orbán opposed the idea of the EU taking out a loan to support Ukraine, arguing that Europe should focus on restoring its own economy instead. He stated, “Ukraine is a country at war, but this is not an excuse for everything. Ukrainians have no right to beat people to death during forced conscription.”

Hungary borders Ukraine, and the latter’s Transcarpathia region is home to a substantial population of ethnic Hungarians, stranded on the wrong side of the frontier as a result of repeated boundary shifts during the 20th century.

Trump’s Approval Rating Takes a Hit Amidst Epstein Affair.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump faced backlash from his base after Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice (DOJ) released a memo stating Jeffrey Epstein had no “client list” and that no foul play was involved in his death.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, Attorney General Bondi, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Deputy Director Dan Bongino, and MAGA supporters, including prominent figures like WarRoom host Stephen K. Bannon.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The controversy unfolded in early July 2025, with Trump addressing the issue on Truth Social and the fallout continuing at events like the Student Action Summit hosted by Turning Point USA.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy has been talked about for years. You’re asking—we have Texas, we have this, we have all of the things. And, are people still talking about this guy? This creep?” – Donald Trump

🎯IMPACT: The backlash has caused significant unrest among Trump’s base, with calls for Attorney General Pam Bondi to resign and concerns about Trump losing support ahead of the 2026 elections.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump has faced mounting criticism from his base after the Department of Justice (DOJ), led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, released a memo on July 7 stating that deceased pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein had no “client list” and that no foul play was involved in his death. The memo contradicted Bondi’s statement earlier this year that such a client list was “sitting on [her] desk.”

Polling data from Morning Consult, collected between July 4 and July 10, showed Trump’s approval rating at 44 percent, with 50 percent disapproval—a six-point drop from the previous month. While the poll does not isolate the Epstein controversy as the sole cause, the timing aligns with the growing unhappiness among Trump’s base.

At the Student Action Summit hosted by Turning Point USA, WarRoom host Stephen K. Bannon warned that the Epstein controversy could cost Trump 10 percent of his base, potentially jeopardizing the 2026 elections. Bannon wants Trump to appoint a special prosecutor to take over the Epstein case.

Trump attempted to quell the outrage on Truth Social, urging his supporters to “not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about.” However, his comments were met with widespread dissatisfaction, with prominent MAGA figures voicing their disapproval. The post became Trump’s first on Truth Social to be “ratioed”—receiving more replies than likes—signaling significant unrest.

Adding to the turmoil, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Deputy Director Dan Bongino has reportedly clashed with Bondi over the handling of the Epstein files. Bongino is reportedly considering resigning unless Bondi is removed from her position.

Trump Gives Putin 50 Days to Make Peace.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump announced “very severe” secondary sanctions on nations purchasing Russian oil if the war in Ukraine is not resolved within 50 days.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Russian President Vladimir Putin.

📍WHEN & WHERE: July 14, 2025, in the Oval Office at the White House, Washington, D.C.

💬KEY QUOTE: “I’ve been hearing so much talk. It’s all talk. It’s all talk—and then missiles go into Kiev and kill 60 people.” – Donald Trump

🎯IMPACT: The proposed sanctions could hamstring Russian trade by making prohibitively expensive for their buyers to trade with the U.S., potentially pressuring Moscow to end the war in Ukraine.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump has threatened to impose secondary sanctions on countries buying Russian oil if the Ukraine war remains unresolved by September 2. In remarks from the Oval Office with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Trump voiced frustration with Russia’s actions and vowed to act decisively.

The potential sanctions, which could be as high as 100 percent, would sharply raise import costs for targeted nations. Trump stressed the urgency of ending the war, saying, “I’ve been hearing so much talk. It’s all talk. It’s all talk. And then missiles go into Kiev and kill 60 people.”

Joined by Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for empty rhetoric and underscored U.S. efforts to mediate a resolution to the conflict, which began with Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and continues to cause significant casualties, despite minimal territorial changes at the front.

If enacted, the sanctions would target not only Russia, but nations purchasing Russian oil—similar to the secondary sanctions used to crush the Iranian economy during Trump’s first term. The America First leader called the proposed measures “very severe” and expressed his preference for a peaceful resolution to the war.

Lawyers Flee Pam Bondi’s DOJ.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Nearly two-thirds of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Federal Programs Branch lawyers have left since President Donald J. Trump’s re-election, raising concerns over internal divisions under Attorney General Pam Bondi’s stewardship.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, Attorney General Bondi, Federal Programs Branch attorneys.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Washington, D.C., November 2024–July 2025.

🎯IMPACT: With over 60 lawyers leaving and the DOJ rocked by fallout from Bondi’s mishandling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, the department is scrambling to fill gaps and defend administration policies on immigration, education, and executive power.

IN FULL

The Department of Justice (DOJ) Federal Programs Branch, responsible for defending many of President Donald J. Trump’s key policies against lawfare suits, has seen a wave of resignations, with 69 of roughly 110 lawyers either leaving or announcing plans to do so. The departures—verified by Reuters—stem partly from supposed ethical concerns among lawyers opposed to Trump’s policies, such as attempting to limit birthright citizenship, but also from morale issues.

The DOJ is currently at the center of a huge public backlash over a memo insisting pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide, that no “client list” for him exists, and that no further information about his case can be released.

A Justice Department spokesman acknowledged the “unprecedented number of lawsuits” against Trump’s policies but noted that the Department has prevailed in many, including at the Supreme Court. However, dissidents within the DOJ said staffers feel pressure to misrepresent issues from Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The resignations include at least 10 of the Federal Programs Branch’s 23 supervisors. DOJ leadership has brought in 15 political appointees and reassigned attorneys from other units to manage the caseload. The administration also removed hiring freezes to bolster staffing. Former Civil Division chief Peter Keisler said the legal workload is staggering.

Trump Will Make an Unprecedented Second State Visit to the United Kingdom.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump has been invited for a second state visit to the United Kingdom, an unprecedented honor for a U.S. President.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Trump, King Charles III, Queen Camilla, First Lady Melania Trump, and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The visit will take place in September at Windsor Castle, west of London.

💬KEY QUOTE: “That’s really something,” Trump previously said about the invitation, calling it a “great, great honor.”

🎯IMPACT: The visit could influence British-American trade relations and marks a significant moment in the ongoing diplomatic relationship between the nations.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump is set to make an unprecedented second state visit to the United Kingdom this September, at the invitation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. First Lady Melania Trump is expected to accompany him. No previous American president has received more than one state invitation from the British monarchy.

Trump’s first state visit to Britain occurred in 2019, hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth II. This time, instead of staying at Buckingham Palace, which is undergoing extensive renovations, the America First leader will be welcomed at Windsor Castle, a royal residence roughly 30 miles west of London.

British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer reportedly personally delivered the invitation during his White House visit earlier this year. In response, Trump called the gesture a “great, great honor,” adding, “That’s really something.”

State visits are typically symbolic in nature, emphasizing diplomatic goodwill and strong international ties. Although the monarch extends the formal invitation, such decisions are made in close coordination with the political government. The timing of this visit comes amid the United Kingdom’s efforts to improve trade relations with the U.S., particularly after a dip in British exports earlier this year that raised concerns about economic performance.

Trump recently rolled back tariffs on British aerospace goods. However, a 25 percent tariff remains in place for British steel beyond a certain quota, which remains a sticking point in trade negotiations. Prime Minister Starmer reportedly hopes the upcoming visit might help smooth over ongoing disagreements and boost economic ties.

During his 2019 visit, Trump openly backed former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and offered his opinions on the Brexit process. He also stirred controversy with public remarks about London Mayor Sadiq Khan, whom he criticized harshly.

This upcoming visit could also have international implications beyond the United Kingdom, particularly concerning Canada, where King Charles is also the constitutional monarch. In recent months, the U.S. and Canada have often been at odds over trade, with Trump floating the idea of absorbing Canada into the Union as the 51st state. In May, the King reaffirmed Canada’s sovereignty during a speech in its Parliament, declaring, “The true north is indeed strong and free.”

Biden Admits He Did Not Individually Approve Most Pardons and Commutations.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Former President Joe Biden admitted he did not individually approve each name listed in his last-minute clemency actions, instead authorizing “standards” for assistants to follow while the autopen was used to finalize the warrants.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Joe Biden, his former Chief of Staff Jeffrey Zients, former White House Counsel Ed Siskel, former Staff Secretary Stefanie Feldman, and GOP investigators, including Representative James Comer (R-KY) and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI).

📍WHEN & WHERE: Washington, D.C., November 2024–January 2025

💬KEY QUOTE: “[T]he only things that really we read off names for were, for example, you know, was I, what was I going to do about, for example, Mark Milley?” – Joe Biden

🎯IMPACT: Republicans are investigating whether Biden’s aides issued pardons without his direct involvement, especially after his poor debate 2024 performance underlined his cognitive decline. The clemency actions include controversial preemptive pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and others.

IN FULL

Former President Joe Biden admitted in a New York Times interview that “assistants” were responsible for notifying the autopen manager as to who should receive a pardon or commutation. Biden merely signed off on broad “standards” for most acts of clemency.

“[T]he only things that really we read off names for were, for example, you know, was I, what was I going to do about, for example, Mark Milley?” Biden told the newspaper. For the most part, names were filled in by the Bureau of Prisons, and autopen use was managed by aides based on meeting notes and summaries. However, Biden defended this practice, claiming full awareness of each decision.

“I made every decision,” Biden said in a phone interview with the NYT. “We’re talking about a whole lot of people.” He accused President Trump and Republicans of lying, and suggested his actions with respect to figures like Milley and Dr. Anthony Fauci were a precaution against Trump being “vindictive” in office.

Biden authorized 25 high-profile pardons, nearly 4,000 commutations, and spared all but three death row inmates. However, the sole warrant he signed personally was for his son, Hunter Biden.

Republicans, led by House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), are investigating whether Biden’s mental decline allowed his aides to hijack the clemency process.

Some former aides have invoked the Fifth Amendment or retained legal counsel in response to the investigation.

Key figures pardoned include Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley, and Liz Cheney and other members of the January 6 committee.

Then-Staff Secretary Stefanie Feldman coordinated the autopen process after receiving meeting notes from aides like Jeffrey Zients and Ed Siskel.
