Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that he would prefer Vice President Kamala Harris to win the U.S. Presidential Election in November. The news followed shortly after Harris’s endorsement from noted war-hawk Liz Cheney.
“Our ‘favorite,’ if you can call it that, was the current president, Mr. Biden. But he was removed from the race and recommended all his supporters to support Ms. Harris. Well, we will do so – we will support her,” Putin said Thursday at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. During this remarks, Putin also lashed out at President Donald Trump, reminding the audience of “so many restrictions and sanctions against Russia like no other president has ever introduced before him.”
Former congresswoman Liz Cheney announced this week that she will cast her vote for Harris. Just four years ago, Cheney called Harris “a radical liberal who would raise taxes, take away guns & health insurance, and explode the size and power of the federal gov’t.”
“She wants to recreate America in the image of what’s happening on the streets of Portland & Seattle. We won’t give her the chance,” Cheney explained, on August 11 2020.

“Because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris,” Cheney said, channeling Putin.
