Harry’s Bar in Paris – Which Is Usually Right – Trends Trump With U.S. Ex-Pat Straw Poll.

The legendary Harry’s Bar in Paris, France, is leaning toward a victory for President Donald J. Trump in a straw poll that has accurately predicted the winner of every presidential election, except for three, since 1924.

The National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam reported on X that the bar, which invented several iconic cocktails like the French 75 and the Bloody Mary, is leaning toward a Trump victory.

He posted a picture showing the bar’s straw poll, which has 383 votes for President Trump to 360 votes for Democrat Kamala Harris.

“The clientele are typically tourists and expats, and they hold a straw poll amongst those who can prove U.S. citizenship every election. Harry’s straw poll has only been wrong three times since 1924. This year, it’s trending Trump!” Kassam stated.

Several other informal polls have also predicted a Trump win, including a cookie poll at an Ohio bakery which predicted every election since 1984, except for the 2020 election. In Tampa, Florida, another cookie poll predicts a landslide victory for Trump.

Missouri lawmakers have approved a new congressional redistricting plan that could shift the state’s political arithmetic further in favor of Republicans. The state senate passed the plan on Friday, sending it to Republican Governor Mike Kehoe, who has already signaled his intention to sign it into law. The state house had approved the measure earlier in the week.

The newly drawn map would divide the Kansas City area in a way that makes Democratic Representative Emanuel Cleaver’s district more conservative-leaning. If enacted, the changes would alter Missouri’s congressional makeup from the current six Republican-leaning and two Democrat-leaning districts to a seven-to-one split.

In Texas, Republican Governor Greg Abbott recently signed a bill that increases the number of GOP-leaning districts from 25 to 30 out of 38, cutting five Democratic-leaning seats in the process. In California, Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom has proposed shifting redistricting powers away from the state’s independent commission and placing them under legislative control in retaliation for the Texan redistricting move.

However, Newsom’s scheme has been met with public backlash, with a recent poll showing nearly two-thirds of Californians oppose it.

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University, several public figures have faced backlash for comments accused of mocking or minimizing his death. A video emerged showing Representative Ilhan Omar (D‑MN) and former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan laughing as they criticized Kirk’s past statements immediately following his killing.

Meanwhile, MSNBC terminated political analyst Matthew Dowd after he appeared to suggest that Kirk had, through his political style and rhetoric, invited “hateful action” against himself. Dowd later apologized, stating he never intended to imply Kirk was to blame for his murder.

The Pentagon has issued a “zero tolerance” directive for military personnel and Department of War civilians, warning that any celebration or mockery of Kirk’s assassination is strictly forbidden.

However, multiple X users responded to King’s post, noting Kirk never advocated for such a thing, and while the conservative organizer declared that he believed in biblical marriage between one man and one woman, he also welcomed members of the gay community into his conservative movement.

“Hey [Stephen King], you are more monstrous than any of the characters you ever came up with. Charlie was never anything but kind to me and my husband,” Dave Rubin, a prominent gay right-winger, wrote in response to King.

Others pointed to past statements by Kirk, including a November 2019 post on X: “I believe marriage is one man one woman. Also gay people should be welcome in the conservative movement. As Christians we are called to love everyone. I will always stand against people who wish to establish their own personal values as a reason to kick others out of the movement.”

Following the pushback, King, who infamously included a child orgy in a sewer in his novel It, deleted his post, writing, “I apologize for saying Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays. What he actually demonstrated was how some people cherry-pick Biblical passages.”

The National Pulse reported last November that, following President Donald J. Trump’s landslide election victory, King had vowed to leave X. “I’m leaving Twitter. Tried to stay, but the atmosphere has just become too toxic,” King declared, adding: “Follow me on Threads, if you like.” King’s hiatus was brief, however, with the author returning to X on February 20, 2025.

Judge Forced to Cut Off Ryan Routh’s Bizarre Opening Statement in Trump Assassination Trial.

Ryan Routh, a 59-year-old defendant accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald J. The assassination of Charlie Kirk occurred on September 10, 2025, when Kirk was speaking at a political event in the courtyard area of Utah Valley University. While addressing the crowd, Kirk was shot in the neck and later pronounced deceased at Timpanogos Regional Hospital.

Surveillance footage revealed a suspect, identified as a white male with dark hair, wearing a black shirt with an American flag and eagle design, dark jeans, and Converse-style shoes.
