President-elect Donald J. Trump has expressed confidence in House Speaker Mike Johnson retaining his role—if he handles spending legislation to prevent a government shutdown correctly. “If the speaker acts decisively, and tough, and gets rid of all of the traps being set by the Democrats, which will economically and, in other ways, destroy our country, he will easily remain speaker,” he said. However, he warned, “Anybody that supports a bill that doesn’t take care of the Democrat quicksand known as the debt ceiling should be primaried and disposed of as quickly as possible.”
Trump differs from the GOP in that he rejects not only the current spending bill, which includes all manner of controversial provisions, but also a so-called “clean” continuing resolution (CR), which would keep the government running as is with no policy changes or new conditions. Instead, the President-elect wants an otherwise “clean” CR that also lifts the debt ceiling.

“If Republicans try to pass a clean Continuing Resolution without all of the Democrat ‘bells and whistles’ that will be so destructive to our Country, all it will do, after January 20th, is bring the mess of the Debt Limit into the Trump Administration, rather than allowing it to take place in the Biden Administration,” Trump argued in a Truth Social post early Thursday.
“Any Republican that would be so stupid as to do this should, and will, be Primaried. Everything should be done, and fully negotiated, prior to my taking Office on January 20th, 2025.”

📍WHEN & WHERE: The hack occurred recently, with e-mails sent from Penn’s Graduate School of Education addresses.
💬KEY QUOTE: “The University of Pennsylvania is a dogs**t elitist institution full of woke retards.” – Hackers.
🎯IMPACT: The breach raises concerns over datasecurity and politically motivated cyberattacks targeting academic institutions.
IN FULL
The University of Pennsylvania has confirmed that members of its community were targeted in a fraudulent e-mail campaign that appeared to come from addresses linked to its Graduate School of Education. The messages, apparently sent by hackers, used inflammatory language and harsh criticisms of the university, including the claim that “The University of Pennsylvania is a dogs**t elitist institution full of woke retards.” The e-mail, in character as UPenn, goes on to say, “We have terrible security practices and are completely unmeritocratic. We hire and admit morons because we love legacies, donors, and unqualified affirmative action admits. We love breaking federal laws like FERPA (all your data will be leaked) and Supreme Court rulings like SFFA. Please stop giving us money.”
“FERPA” is the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and the remarks on the SFFA refer to the Supreme Court’s Students for Fair Admissions decision, which struck down race-based affirmative action admissions policies that disadvantage white and Asian students.
In a statement, Penn said that “a fraudulent e-mail is currently being circulated” and that its Office of Information Security’s Incident Response team is investigating the breach. The messages were reportedly sent to several alumni.
The incident mirrors other politically charged cyberattacks targeting major universities. Earlier this year, Columbia University faced a similar breach, during which a hacker claimed to have accessed decades of admissions data. The same individual later took credit for intrusions at New York University and the University of Minnesota.
Columbia also recently agreed to pay more than $220 million to the Trump administration to regain access to federal research funding, following accusations that it mishandled anti-Semitism on campus and failed to comply with new education directives.
The Trump administration has made higher education reform a central part of its second-term agenda, emphasizing the dismantling of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs across universities. Several Ivy League and public institutions have begun eliminating or rebranding DEI offices under pressure from federal agencies. Even some California campuses have reversed DEI hiring requirements, reflecting the administration’s warning that race-based initiatives could violate federal civil rights laws.
In recent months, Trump officials have launched investigations into universities accused of ignoring new federal orders on admissions and hiring practices. Johns Hopkins Medical School is reportedly under civil rights review for maintaining DEI policies that conflict with the administration’s anti-discrimination directives.

President Donald J. Trump announced the designation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) on October 31, 2025, citing severe violations of religious freedom and the persecution of Christians by radical Islamist terrorists. The announcement was made as the President arrived at Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria,” said Trump in a post on Truth Social, continuing: “Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter.” He added, “I am hereby making Nigeria a ‘COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN’ — But that is the least of it. When Christians, or any such group, is slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria (3,100 versus 4,476 Worldwide), something must be done!”
The President called on Congressman Riley Moore (R-WV) and House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole (R-OK) to investigate the matter and report back to him. Congressman Moore later expressed his gratitude on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “You have always been a champion for Christians around the world, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with you and Chairman Cole… to defend our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being slaughtered by radical Islamists in Nigeria.”
The designation places Nigeria among other countries of particular concern, such as Burma, China, Iran, and North Korea. Nigeria was previously designated as a CPC during Trump’s first administration, but was removed from the list by former President Joe Biden, despite calls from religious freedom advocates to reinstate the label.
“The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries,” Trump said. “We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian population around the World!”

📍WHEN & WHERE: The ruling was made on Friday in Boston, Massachusetts.
🎯IMPACT: The ruling stops short of ordering the White House to use emergency funds, leaving SNAP benefits in limbo.
IN FULL
A federal judge in Massachusetts has determined that the Trump administration’s decision to halt Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits to 42 million Americans due to the ongoing Democrat-caused government shutdown is likely unlawful. However, the judge did not mandate the use of emergency funds to continue the benefits.
U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani—appointed by former President Barack Obama—instructed the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to report by Monday on whether it can authorize reduced SNAP benefits using disaster response funds or full benefits using emergency and additional funds.
The ruling follows a lawsuit filed by leaders of 25 Democratic-run states and the District of Columbia against the USDA, after the agency warned that funds for SNAP benefits had depleted.
Saturday marks the first time in 60 years that federal SNAP funding has lapsed. The states argue that the administration is violating the Food and Nutrition Act, which mandates assistance for all eligible households.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins stated that the contingency fund is insufficient to cover the required $9.2 billion for November SNAP and is only usable if the underlying program is funded. This fund is typically reserved for natural disasters like hurricanes.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The request was filed on October 30, 2025, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The assassination attempt occurred in South Florida in 2024.
💬KEY QUOTE: “I am a constant failure… without love—what is the point.” – Ryan Routh
🎯IMPACT: The request came after Routh had already tried to kill himself following his guilty verdict.
IN FULL
On October 30, Ryan Routh, the 58-year-old man pro-Ukraine activist convicted of attempting to assassinate President Donald J. Trump at a Florida golf course last year, has filed an extraordinary request to serve his sentence in a state allowing physician-assisted suicide. In a letter to U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon, Routh, a former North Carolina roofer turned Ukraine aid organizer, asked for a recommendation to transfer him to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ custody in such a jurisdiction—though any judicial suggestion would not bind the agency.
Describing himself as “a constant failure” and questioning life’s value behind bars, he wrote, “without love—what is the point.” He also proposed an international prisoner swap, urging, “Do not let me take my own life and it have zero benefit for humanity or mankind.”
Routh’s path to infamy intertwined fervent pro-Ukraine activism with deep-seated anti-Trump animus. After Russia’s 2022 invasion, the Hawaii resident founded the International Volunteer Center in Kiev, recruiting veterans, many from Afghanistan, to join Ukraine’s International Legion despite visa hurdles. He lobbied Congress for more aid and appeared in an Azov Brigade video, among other stunts. Legion insiders introduced him to journalists in 2023, praising his efforts despite language barriers. A vocal Biden-Harris supporter, Routh’s social media railed against Trump and Israel.
Months before the September 2024 attempt, Routh penned a note to an associate, admitting Democratic-inspired motives. He decried Trump for allegedly abandoning America’s “kind, caring, and selfless” ideals, blamed him for Middle East chaos via a “juvenile” Iran pullout, and offered a $150,000 bounty to “complete the job.” In the letter, found with bullets, he lamented: “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, but I am so sorry I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster.”
Prosecutors said Routh stalked Trump’s West Palm Beach course for weeks before Secret Service agents spotted him on September 15, 2024, armed and hiding in a bush a short distance from President Trump. Agents fired shots and sent him fleeing; he never discharged his rifle, but a young girl was almost killed during his escape attempt.
Convicted in September 2024 on five counts, including attempted assassination, Routh fired his lawyers, represented himself, and, post-verdict, jabbed a pen at his neck in court in an apparent suicide attempt before being restrained.
He later called dismissing counsel “a childish mistake.” Routh faces up to life at his December 2025 sentencing. Notably, federal prisons generally avoid assisted-suicide states.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The U.S. must halt such attacks and take all measures necessary to prevent the extrajudicial killing of people aboard these boats.” – UN spokesman Ravina Shamdasani
🎯IMPACT: Fourteen strikes have resulted in at least 61 deaths, but globalists are pushing back against the campaign.
IN FULL
The globalist United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, has condemned the United States for carrying out military airstrikes on boats linked to drug trafficking in the Caribbean and Pacific, calling the actions “unacceptable” and “illegal” and demanding that they stop immediately.
At a UN briefing in Geneva, spokesman Ravina Shamdasani relayed the concerns of the Commissioner, an Austrian human rights lawyer, claiming that the strikes violate international human rights law. “The U.S. must halt such attacks and take all measures necessary to prevent the extrajudicial killing of people aboard these boats,” she said. Shamdasani insisted that lethal force should only be used as a last resort against individuals posing an imminent threat to life.
The latest strike, announced by War Secretary Pete Hegseth, took place in the eastern Pacific Ocean near Colombia. U.S. officials have explained that the strikes are part of a broader campaign to dismantle transnational drug networks and “narco-terrorist” groups operating in the region.
President Donald J. Trump, who has publicly championed the campaign, has defended the military’s actions as a “necessary measure” to stem the flow of illegal drugs into the United States. Reports indicate that several of the targeted vessels were linked to powerful criminal organizations, including Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua and Colombia’s communist National Liberation Army.
“The fight against drug trafficking is not a war,” Shamdasani insisted. “It is a law-enforcement matter governed by strict limits on the use of lethal force.” President Trump has taken a far more robust stance, designating cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, effectively at war with the U.S. In recent remarks to a reporter who asked why he does not ask Congress for a formal declaration of war, the America First leader said, “I’m not going to necessarily ask for a declaration of war, I think we’re just going to kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. OK? We’re going to kill them, you know, they’re going to be, like, dead.”

🎯IMPACT: The government shutdown continues with the Senate adjourned for the weekend, while the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) faces potential funding issues.
IN FULL
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) has indicated Republicans will not invoke the so-called “nuclear option” and enact a rule change to scrap the legislative filibuster, despite urging from President Donald J. Trump to do so. Thune spokesman, Ryan Wrasse, confirmed on Friday that the Senate Republican leader’s stance is “unchanged” and emphasized the filibuster’s role as a safeguard against undesirable legislation. “Leader Thune’s position on the importance of the legislative filibuster is unchanged,” Wrasse said.
Late Thursday, in a post on Truth Social, President Trump called on Senate Republicans to eliminate the 60-vote threshold required to advance most legislation to break the ongoing Democrat-caused government shutdown. The rule change would allow Republicans to pass funding measures without needing Democratic support.
The Senate has adjourned for the weekend, although discussions among members are expected to continue in an effort to end the shutdown. The situation is compounded by the looming expiration of funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which could impact 42 million Americans.
Thune has previously articulated that the filibuster serves as a critical barrier to prevent “a lot of really bad things” from happening. The National Pulse has previously reported that Sens. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) and John Fetterman (D-PA) have backed a push to end the filibuster. However, some longtime Capitol Hill observers warn that Republicans moving to end the filibuster may actually be the outcome Democrats desire most.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The subpoenas were issued during Smith’s “Arctic Frost” probe; FBI files were made public on Wednesday through Sen. Grassley’s office.
💬KEY QUOTE: “Politically motivated conduct,” said Jim Jordan in his letter demanding Smith testify before Congress.
🎯IMPACT: Congressional Republicans have called for investigations and the impeachment of Judge Boasberg, citing concerns of abuse of investigative power under the Biden Justice Department.
IN FULL
Republican lawmakers in the House of Representatives are now working to pursue the impeachment of U.S. District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg, who—along with his colleague U.S. District Court Judge Beryl Howell—issued non-disclosure orders preventing public knowledge of nearly 200 subpoenas targeting Republican organizations, officials, and donors filed by former Special Counsel Jack Smith. Late Thursday evening, Representative Brandon Gill (R-TX) announced he is drafting articles of impeachment against Boasberg. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), likewise, signalled he would pursue impeachment. It is unclear whether Judge Howell will also face impeachment.
The National Pulse reported on Wednesday that Jack Smith issued 197 subpoenas targeting over 430 Republican groups and individuals as part of the Arctic Frost probe. Senator. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) described the investigation as a “fishing expedition” aimed at improperly scrutinizing the Republican political apparatus. Among the subpoenas were requests for telecom carriers to provide Smith’s team with cellular data for around a dozen Republican lawmakers, with Boasberg and Howell’s orders preventing the companies from disclosing the requests.
“Radical activist judge James Boasberg continues to weaponize his judicial authority and target his political opponents,” Rep. Gill said in a statement. “Judge Boasberg facilitated the egregious Arctic Frost scandal, where he equipped the Biden DOJ to spy on Republican senators. His lack of integrity makes him clearly unfit for the gavel.” Boasberg, appointed by former President Barack Obama and now serving as chief judge in Washington, D.C., has faced prior criticism for rulings that impacted Trump administration policies.
Troublingly, under the guise of investigating the alleged involvement of President Trump and several Republican lawmakers in January 6, Jack Smith—enabled by judges Boasberg and Howell—appears to have, in reality, laid the groundwork for an unprecedented, weaponized, and partisan criminal probe aimed at crippling the Republican Party. Financial institutions and political vendors for Trump-aligned PACs were targeted with subpoenas, suggesting that Smith sought to establish monetary links between hundreds of consulting firms, advisors, and nonprofits that he could subsequently prosecute—presumably under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act—if he had secured a conviction against Trump.

🎯IMPACT: Seibt’s case highlights concerns over political persecution in Germany and raises questions about freedom of speech and government overreach.
IN FULL
Naomi Seibt, a 25-year-old German right-wing activist, previously dubbed the “anti-Greta Thunberg,” has applied for asylum in the United States. She announced the move on her X account, posting a picture of herself wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat with the caption: “Today, I am officially the first German asylum seeker in the U.S. under President Trump.”
Seibt, known for her support of the populist, anti-mass migration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, said she fled her home country out of fear for her safety. She said she had received multiple death threats from Antifa members, which police refused to meaningfully investigate, and that she was under surveillance by German intelligence agencies. “It starts with Antifa, which is stronger in Germany than it is anywhere else in the world… I have received many death threats from Antifa,” she said in an interview.
U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican from Florida, voiced her support for Seibt’s asylum claim. Writing on X, Luna said, “I will be personally assisting with her case and writing to the Secretary of State [Marco Rubio] regarding what she is facing as well as the German Government’s prosecution of its own citizens for fighting [W]estern ideology and their culture.” She also criticized Berlin’s approach to political dissent, stating, “The very same German government that claims to fight Nazism is becoming… like the secret police.”
Seibt has long described herself as a defender of free speech and conservative values. She expressed admiration for what she called American patriotism and argued that the AfD is the only party in Germany promoting similar ideals. “The AfD is not against immigration at all, we just want immigration that goes through strict and rigorous controls,” she said. She characterized the AfD as a libertarian-conservative movement aiming to “restore patriotism” rather than a nationalist or imperialist one. Seibt has used her online following to highlight political persecution in Germany and to campaign for tighter immigration and greater freedom of expression.
Her case comes amid a significant shift in U.S. refugee policy under President Donald J. Trump. The administration recently cut the refugee admissions cap to just 7,500 for the next fiscal year, the lowest in American history, while prioritizing white South African applicants, particularly Afrikaners, who face discrimination in their home country. Leftist organizations, including the Episcopal Church, have criticized the policy and suspended participation in federal resettlement programs, because the refugees are white.
President Trump is also reportedly considering allowing Europeans facing censorship for expressing anti-mass migration and conservative views to claim asylum, with Vice President J.D. Vance having warned against the erosion of free speech in Britain and the European Union (EU) multiple times.
This photo was taken exactly one year ago. Today, I am officially the first German asylum seeker in the U.S under President Trump.

🎯IMPACT: Passengers have faced significant disruptions, with cascading delays and grounded flights affecting travel plans nationwide and internationally.
IN FULL
The Senate Democrats’ government shutdown unleashed further travel chaos on Friday, with airports across the United States experiencing widespread delays and cancellations. As of 9 AM ET, FlightAware reported 787 delayed flights and 242 cancellations—likely setting off additional disruptions throughout the day.
On Thursday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that 7,250 flights were delayed and 1,249 were canceled nationwide. Airports in Orlando, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Washington, D.C. were particularly impacted by shortages of air traffic controllers, many of whom have been working without pay since the shutdown began on October 1.
The FAA’s Command Center has indicated that weather also remains a significant factor, with storms moving across the Northeast and expected to linger into Friday. Delays at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport reached up to 30 minutes, while Newark International Airport reported 15-minute departure delays. Ground stop and delay programs are anticipated at several East Coast and California airports.
In Canada, similar issues have arisen, with tower closures at Kelowna and Winnipeg airports due to staffing shortages. Tim Perry, President of the Canadian branch of the Air Line Pilots Association, stated, “This lack of stability in Canada’s aviation sector must be addressed.”
The disruptions have left thousands of passengers stranded, particularly in Orlando, where the FAA announced that no certified controllers would be available for a period of time, preventing landings at Orlando Airport. The ripple effects of these delays and cancellations are expected to continue throughout the day.

Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth has moved to extend the deployment of National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., through February. The deployment of more than 2,000 National Guardsmen was initially set to expire at the end of November.
An Army official explained that the Guardsmen “are patrolling communities, deterring crime, and providing vital assistance to the citizens and visitors of the District of Columbia.” The Guard has been present in D.C. since August, following President Donald J. Trump’s decision to mobilize about 800 members and place the city’s police department under federal control.
President Trump declared a public emergency over the city’s violent crime crisis and directed Hegseth to deploy the Guard. Federal agencies, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), were also sent to assist in addressing crime and illegal immigration.
Currently, there are 2,389 National Guardsmen stationed in Washington, D.C., with 960 from the District itself and 1,427 from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia, according to the Joint Task Force—D.C.
