A left-wing non-governmental organization (NGO) was given $17 million in U.S. taxpayer cash to promote “democracy,” but all they produced was a low-quality Muppets knock-off puppet show. The puppet programming reportedly achieved only around 200 views per episode.
The States United Democracy Center was founded by Norm Eisen, an attorney who was a key figure in the first sham impeachment of President Donald J. Trump during his first term. Eisen also founded a new media company with hysterical anti-Trump writer Jennifer Rubin this year after Rubin quit her position at The Washington Post.
DataRepublican, a researcher who posts about government waste on X, exposed the States United Democracy Center as having received the millions in cash while only producing the puppet show. Formerly anonymous, DataRepublican stated her name to be Jennica Pounds after apparently being doxxed.
Pounds, who is deaf, says she has left her job to aid efforts in tracking U.S. government waste using artificial intelligence (AI) and is awaiting the results of a background check to work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Pounds has estimated that there is as much as $100 billion in government waste or more.
Following his inauguration, President Trump has suspended or cut massive amounts of foreign aid, including downsizing USAID, which has spent billions on bizarre, woke projects around the world that often undermine American strategic interests.
