A Capital Research Center report has revealed that liberal plutocrat George Soros’s Open Society Foundations (OSF) organization has allocated over $80 million to organizations linked to terrorism or extremist violence, including more than $23 million to groups directly involved in domestic terrorism and criminal activities in the U.S. The report, written by Ryan Mauro, details how these groups engage in acts like property destruction, economic sabotage, and harassment, which align with the definition of domestic terrorism.
It also identifies ties between domestic terror activities and international terrorism, including connections to Hamas and communist sympathizers. One funded group, the Sunrise Movement, which received at least $2 million from Open Society, has supported Antifa-linked groups like Stop Cop City, implicated in violent acts such as arson and attacks on police. The Sunrise Movement has encouraged donations to the Atlanta Solidarity Fund, which prosecutors claim supplies resources like ammunition, surveillance equipment, and camping gear for Stop Cop City’s activities.
Additionally, the Center for Third World Organizing and its militant partner, the Ruckus Society, have received $400,000 since 2020. These groups have claimed involvement in the George Floyd riots and other destructive protests. The BlackOUT Collective, another Open Society-funded group, has reportedly created materials praising the October 7 terror attacks in Israel and offering guidance on illegal activities like property destruction and evading law enforcement. InfluenceWatch reports that the Ruckus Society’s training materials promote both legal and illegal tactics.
President Donald J. Trump suggested Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act charges against groups and donors backing extremist activities, highlighting Soros by name, after the assassination of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk. Earlier this week, the Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed that U.S. attorneys are now opening investigations into Soros-linked groups.
