Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has confirmed that the Department of War will comply with President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order to release all government files related to UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Speaking at an ‘Arsenal of Freedom’ tour event in Denver, Colorado, on Monday, Sec. Hegseth stated, “We’re digging in. We’re going to be in full compliance with that executive order, eager to provide that for the President.”
Hegseth, who acknowledged the unprecedented nature of his role in this matter, said, “I did not have that on my bingo card at all.” He further explained that while the timeline for releasing the files remains unclear, the Department of War and other agencies are actively working to fulfill the directive. When pressed on whether he has knowledge of the existence of extraterrestrial life, Hegseth stated, “We’ll see. I get to do the review and find out along with all of you.”
Meanwhile, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), chair of the House Oversight Committee’s Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) task force, revealed that the declassified documents will be made available on the National Archives’ website. Meanwhile, Representative Eric Burlison (R-MO), who has been granted access to visit Area 51 and other alleged UFO-related sites, indicated that the Trump Administration is fully supporting the investigation into UAPs.
The National Pulse reported last week that President Trump’s order followed former President Barack Obama‘s controversial remarks suggesting government knowledge of extraterrestrial life during a podcast interview. In response, Trump criticized Obama, alleging that he had disclosed classified information. Trump stated, “I don’t know if they’re real or not. I can tell you he gave classified information. He made a big mistake.”
