Around two dozen world leaders gathered in Beijing, China, yesterday for what the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) billed as a celebration of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the Imperial Japanese occupation of the East Asian country. While the event featured Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean autocrat Kim Jong-Un prominently—along with a military parade showcasing the Chinese military’s weaponry—a U.S. delegation was noticeably absent. This fact—despite the United States having played the preeminent role in the war’s Pacific theater—did not go unnoticed by U.S. President Donald J. Trump.

“The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and ‘blood’ that The United States of America gave to China in order to help it to secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader,” President Trump wrote late Tuesday night in a post on Truth Social. “Many Americans died in China’s quest for Victory and Glory. I hope that they are rightfully Honored and Remembered for their Bravery and Sacrifice! May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration.”

“Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America,” he added.

In a 90-minute military parade, China showcased what it says is the latest in its military technology before 24 world leaders—mostly from former Soviet Socialist Republics and a handful of politically isolated nations like Iran. However, what the CCP hoped would be a global flex of its military prowess is being overshadowed by a hot mic moment where Xi and Putin, along with Kim Jong-Un, were discussing the use of organ transplants to prolong their lives to 150 years.

“Earlier, people rarely lived to 70, but these days at 70 years you’re still a child,” said Xi, 72, through a translator to Putin, also 72, as a smiling Kim walked next to them. Putin—also through a translator—responded to Xi, “With the development of biotechnology, human organs can be continuously transplanted, and people can live longer and longer, and even achieve immortality.”

“Predictions are, this century, there’s a chance of also living to 150,” Xi said, eliciting approving laughter from Putin and Kim.

The exchange is notable as Russia, North Korea, and especially China have all been accused of engaging in illicit organ harvesting, with allegations suggesting organs are sometimes taken by force from healthy young adults who are political dissidents or ethnic minorities. Notably, China has been accused of harvesting organs from members of the Falun Gong movement and the Uyghur ethnic minority group.

The new footage clarifies that the camera data switched around midnight, requiring two clips to be combined for seamless video. Merging the clips appears to reveal no gap in the footage—contradicting Attorney General Pam Bondi’s earlier explanation for the missing minute. Bondi had claimed, “What we learned from Bureau of Prisons was every night the video is reset, and every night should have the same minute missing.”

This is not the first time Bondi has appeared to contradict herself on the Epstein case, with the current controversy around his death stemming from a DOJ memo stating that no Epstein “client list” exists, despite the fact she said a client list was “on [her] desk” in February.

The new video shows no previously undiscovered activity inside the jail block during the “missing minute.” The DOJ continues to assert that Epstein died by suicide in his cell while awaiting prosecution.

Notably, the footage released to the public does not cover Epstein’s cell door, only a corridor outside his cell block. While officials insist the released footage shows no one could have reached Epstein’s cell, analysts for CBS News have disputed this, noting it does not fully cover the cell block entrance or the staircase leading to Epstein’s level.

“To say that there’s no way that someone could get to that, the stairs up to his room, without being seen, is false,” they insist.

Trump Tariff Revenues Hit Record $31 Billion in August 2025.

The Trump administration collected over $30 billion in tariff revenue in August alone, marking the highest monthly total of 2025 so far, even with data from the last three days of the month not yet factored in. According to Treasury Department figures released last week, total tariff revenue for the year has already surged past $183 billion, more than double what had been collected by this point last year.

Revenue has climbed fast in recent months, from $17.4 billion in April, to $23.9 billion in May, $28 billion in June, and $29 billion in July. At this pace, the government could match last year’s full-year tariff take in just a few months.

The surge comes as President Donald J. Trump’s trade agenda gains traction again, both economically and legally. Despite a federal appeals court ruling that said Trump overstepped by using emergency powers to impose global tariffs, the court has allowed the tariffs to stay in place through October 14. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is appealing the anti-tariff decision to the Supreme Court.

Trump’s tariffs, aimed at levelling the playing field for American workers against sweatshop economies and countries that price out American expoirts through tariff and non-tariff trade barriers, are already “reshoring” jobs to the United States. For instance, GE Appliances recently announced a $3 billion investment to move manufacturing from China and Mexico back to the U.S. Products like refrigerators and water heaters will now be built in states like Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee, bringing over 1,000 new jobs. CEO Kevin Nolan said the goal is “manufacturing close to our customers.”

The U.S. goods trade deficit has seen major improvement, narrowing from $96.4 billion in May to $86.0 billion in June, thanks to falling imports, a sign that the tariffs are working as intended.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) now projects Trump’s tariff policy could slash the federal deficit by $4 trillion over the next decade, including $3.3 trillion in primary deficit reduction and $700 billion in interest savings. Customs duties alone could reach $200 billion by year’s end.

Trump reinstated strict border enforcement policies, resulting in record-low illegal crossings.

The report, compiled by the governments of Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica with support from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, shows that migration from Venezuela toward the U.S. has dropped by a staggering 97 percent. Migrants cited tougher U.S. policies (46 percent) and being unable to cross the border (49 percent) as their main reasons for turning back. Others mentioned running out of money (34 percent) or fear of detention and deportation (17 percent).

“It’s time to go back—the American dream wasn’t like this,” complained one migrant quoted in the report.

“The world is hearing our message that America’s borders are closed to lawbreakers,” commented Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, pointing to a near halt in crossings through Panama’s treacherous Darién Gap. In June, just 10 migrants reportedly made the journey, down from over 500,000 in 2023.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data for May 2025 also show a 93 percent decrease in illegal crossings compared to the same month last year. Daniel “Dani” Senecal, a 25-year-old man who recently began identifying as transgender, has been charged in connection with a serious assault on a girl in Ontario, Canada. Authorities responded to a call for medical assistance in the city of Welland early Sunday morning. They found a young child suffering from injuries that required urgent medical attention. The five-year-old girl is now reported to be in stable condition.

During the investigation, police discovered evidence of a break-in at the victim’s home. Reports indicate that the girl’s parents woke up to the horrifying realization that their daughter had been assaulted overnight. Surveillance footage from a witness helped law enforcement identify Senecal as the suspect, leading to his arrest. He now faces multiple charges, including aggravated sexual assault on a child, sexual interference with a child, assault, assault by choking, and breaking and entering.

Notably, Canadian media reports that Senecal had previously been convicted of sexually assaulting a young boy in the same area. However, he received just 18 months in prison, and was released in March, six months early. The mother of this earlier victim expressed deep frustration over the system’s failure to impose a meaningful punishment, saying, “I feel like I failed to get him locked up longer. The fact that the justice system did not do more makes me hurt.”

The case is just one of many involving transgenders accused, charged, or convicted of child sexual abuse. In January, for instance, three men identifying as women were accused of gang raping a girl at a local Pride festival that took place in 2024 in Bergen, Norway.

Last month, a transgender illegal immigrant who was let into the U.S. under the former Biden regime in 2023 was also charged with child rape. Nicol Alexandra Contreras-Suarez, a Colombian transgender, faces first-degree rape of a minor under 17 charges, along with other charges.

Trump’s National Guard deployment in Washington, D.C., an “occupation” and suggesting the troops serve no real purpose, despite previously lamenting repeated crimes against her family in the American capital. In a recent Atlantic article co-authored with Nancy A. Youssef, Parker argued the Guard’s presence had “chilled life in the city” and mocked the deployment as “sitcom-esque.”

“To some—especially undocumented immigrants [sic]—the Guard presence is disconcerting at best, terrifying at worst,” she wrote, while dismissing President Trump’s federal crime crackdown as a “farcical” effort. However, social media users quickly pointed out Parker’s own admitted frustrations with D.C. crime. In a post from June, she wrote: “After another bike was stolen last night, my husband and I realized our life as DC homeowners by the numbers includes: 1 stolen car; 2 stolen scooters/Vespas; 3 stolen bikes; a partridge in a pear tree; etc.,” painting a clear picture of ongoing theft and rising public safety concerns in the nation’s capital.

Despite her claims, Trump’s deployment of the National Guard and federal law enforcement has clearly curtailed crime in D.C., with even Mayor Muriel Bowser, a Democrat, acknowledging, “We know that when carjackings go down, when the use of guns goes down, when homicide or robbery go down, neighborhoods feel safer and are safer,” specifically noting an “87 percent reduction in carjackings” since Trump’s takeover.

President Trump has invoked Section 740 of the D.C. Home Rule Act to place the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) under federal authority and mobilized hundreds of National Guard troops and federal law enforcement officers throughout the city. U.S. military forces have executed a strike against Tren de Aragua (TdA), designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by President Donald J. Trump, in international waters. TdA, characterized by President Trump as operating under the control of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, gained a significant foothold in the U.S. under former President Joe Biden, and has been linked to serious crimes including mass murder, drug trafficking, and sex trafficking across the United States and the wider Western Hemisphere.

“Earlier this morning, on my Orders, U.S. Military Forces conducted a kinetic strike against positively identified Tren de Aragua Narcoterrorists in the SOUTHCOM [United States Southern Command] area of responsibility,” Trump confirmed in a post to his Truth Social platform.
