A political advertising company linked to Ron DeSantis operatives is recruiting actors to play Donald Trump staffers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles. Madison McQueen, which collaborates with Axiom Strategies and DeSantis strategist Jeff Roe, is producing a “[p]olitical spoof of former Trump administration associates.”
The advertisement raises questions as to whether the Florida Governor’s floundering campaign for the Republican presidential nomination is funneling donor cash into attack ads lampooning activists loyal to Trump. When quizzed on the acting gigs, which will pay $300 a day, the DeSantis Super PAC guided by Roe did not respond.
LaCivita, a Marine veteran, offered to play himself when the job listings became widely known – but added there “isn’t an actress classy enough in all of LA that could even hope to play” fellow target Susie Wiles.
Roe and Axiom are currently being sued in Nevada over a botched a ballot initiative, allegedly taking money from local activists to organize a petition but turning in documents replete with obscene, fake signatures and burned pages stained with “bong water”.
