Donald Trump is lining up America First loyalists like Steve Bannon and Kari Lake to staff his next administration, while Melania Trump is keen for Tucker Carlson to serve as her husband’s running mate.
Trump spent little time in Washington D.C. prior to winning the presidency. He says this meant he had to rely on establishment figures to fill some key jobs. He is determined to have a team ready to implement a MAGA agenda on day one if he wins in 2024, however.
Possible Vice President picks reportedly include J.D. Vance, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kristi Noem, and Kari Lake. Vance may prefer to remain in the Senate, to serve as “Trump’s hammer.”
Melania Trump, however, is said to be keen to bring aboard Tucker Carlson as Vice President. Carlson recently revealed he is now an “active” Trump supporter. The weaponization of the Justice Department against the 45th President pushed him to make his previous support more public.
In terms of a Trump Justice Department, sources have told the media Trump is “most likely to make a shocking pick” for Attorney General.
“You want to weaponize DOJ, motherf***er?” they explained.
Candidates include Mike Lee and Stephen Miller. Miller is also being considered for another Cabinet-level role, where he would steer immigration policy.
War Room host Steve Bannon may return as White House Chief of Staff, with Carlson’s backing. “Steve believes: If you said we’re building a wall, we’re building a wall,” Carlson said.
Former Pentagon official Kash Patel could receive a top intelligence job to help bring the intelligence “community” to heel, while Richard Grenell could become Secretary of State.
The Trump team is adamant that whoever gets the top jobs this time, they must be eager to move quickly on immigration and uprooting the Deep State.
