Day 25: COVID Rages, But Biden Beats His Granddaughter At Mario Kart.

The commander-in-chief spent part of his first presidential weekend at Camp David playing Mario Kart, his gushing granddaughter reported to the world.

“At Least He Doesn’t Golf On Sundays.”

File under “let them eat cake:” According to his granddaughter’s Instagram story, Joe Biden spent part of the weekend at Camp David playing Mario Kart with his family—without a mask, it would appear—even while the rest of America must refrain from visiting their extended families, let alone play indoor games together.

“A little rusty, but he still won (barely),” Naomi Biden (Hunter Biden’s 26-year-old daughter) captioned the video.

When Republicans golf on Christmas Eve, it’s a dereliction of duty. When Democrats play arcade games, everyone wants an invite.

Gun Control Policy Brewing In The Biden-Harris White House.

Biden released a statement Sunday marking the third anniversary of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, and highlighting his gun control agenda. “Today, I am calling on Congress to enact commonsense gun law reforms, including requiring background checks on all gun sales, banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and eliminating immunity for gun manufacturers who knowingly put weapons of war on our streets,” the statement reads in part.

In recent days, Biden officials have begun meeting virtually with gun-control advocates, including some families of students killed in the Parkland shooting. As a presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris advocated for forceful gun control measures that would include prohibiting those convicted of a federal hate crime from buying guns.

Gun sales last month set a record for the month of January, while 2020 saw a sharp increase in first-time gun buyers and gun sales to African Americans and women.

DeSantis: “No Basis in Reality.”

As we’ve noted, the Biden White House is currently weighing domestic travel restrictions paired with required testing to fly, while also releasing scores of illegal immigrants who have not been tested for Coronavirus into the United States.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis underscored the hypocrisy in an interview Sunday morning with Maria Bartiromo: “There’s no basis in medical, there’s no basis in economics, there’s no basis in reality to do this, except to punish a state that is doing it better than what his experts have recommended.”
