Stephane Bancel, the CEO of Moderna, insisted that COVID-19 would be around “forever.”
Speaking on Wednesday at a JPMorgan Healthcare Conference, Bancel insisted “we are going to live with this virus, we think, forever.”
“SARS-CoV-2 is not going away,” he added.
As it stands, Moderna’s vaccine for the virus has been authorized by the Food and Drug Administration for use in Americans aged 18 years and up.
