FLASHBACK: Leftist ‘Comedian’ John Oliver Warned of ‘Red Flags’ on ‘Vulnerable’ Voting Machines

In a segment on HBO’s John Oliver show aired in November 2019, the leftist comedian took aim at America’s voting system, noting: “We don’t always know how our votes are being counted and it’s not unreasonable to have some questions about our election security.

After airing a segment outlining how some had blind faith in their votes being accurately counted, Oliver went on to explain that a Senate Intelligence Committee report said America’s voting system was “vulnerable to exploitation.”

“There is no single standard voting system in this country,” Oliver lamented, explaining that digital voting systems are the “absolute worst” way of voting.

Twenty years later, the nation is still dealing with easily hackable or breakable voting systems. “Hackers find vulnerabilities in voting machines all of the time,” he said, before explaining that Georgia’s system have not been updated in 15 years.

“Georgia’s election system operates with the same level of technical proficiency as every dad,” Oliver quipped.

Finally Oliver cites a Rutgers professor, Penny Venetis, who explains: “Anybody can walk up to these voting machines and anybody can manipulate them, and nobody will know.”

The video was unearthed shortly after the liberal media began mocking Trump supporters for claiming there could be election fraud in the United States.
