New Kasich Ads Launched in N.H. Focus on Fiscal, Military Issues

Super PACs supporting John Kasich for President are doubling down in New Hampshire.  New Day for America has launched two new ads trying to shift focus to Kasich’s fiscal and military background  to shore up support for the governor, who is currently running fourth in the Granite State according to RealClearPolitics’ poll average.

The first video focused heavily on foreign policy, flashing images of ISIS, Iran, and geopolitical foes like China and Putin’s Russia, and presenting Kasich as the only “experienced” candidate in the race:

Who is it that has the foreign policy experience to deal with what has become an increasingly complicated world, at a time when America needs to emerge and restore its leadership?  No one really has that experience except for maybe one.  John Kasich’s for us.

The second, which featured on-screen flashes of Kasich’s experience on the Armed Services Committee and his vote for a balanced budget when he was in the House, tried to bill Kasich as a fiscally conservative outsider who could get things done:

He’s turned red ink to black, shattered expectations.  Experience.  Success.  Speaks to every one of us.  Blunt, direct, not part of the tired system.  Best of all he’s done great things, not for himself, but for us.

Kasich: It can happen again.
