Students Plan Walkout Over Trans Athletes in Girls’ Sports.

High school students across New York are organizing a statewide walkout on October 24 to protest the inclusion of transgender athletes in girls’ sports. The Coalition to Protect Kids is spearheading the ‘Walk Off for Fairness Day’ event. The Catholic Church and conservative groups have also announced their support for it.

The demonstration comes amid debate over Proposition 1 on the November ballot. This measure, known as the Equal Rights Amendment, would codify abortion into the New York State Constitution but also includes language that could allow male-born athletes identifying as females to participate in girls’ and women’s sports, disadvantaging female athletes.

Ayesha Kreutz, spokeswoman for The Coalition to Protect Kids, emphasizes that ‘Walk Off for Fairness Day’ offers a platform for young women to voice their concerns. According to Kreutz, many female athletes feel pressured to remain silent on the issue.

New York Republican Party chairman Ed Cox states that Prop 1 would undermine Title IX protections. He notes it could potentially impact scholarships and opportunities for female athletes.

The walkout comes just months after a judge in Virginia ruled that a transgender male could join the girls’ tennis team at a school in the state after a local school district attempted to prevent them.

Biologically male athletes have routinely demonstrated advantages when playing against females, including at this year’s Summer Olympics, when the women’s 145-pound boxing gold medal was won by a person who previously failed gender tests.

Border Agents Now Get to Pick Their Preferred Pronouns!

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced a policy update introducing a wide range of pronouns for employees’ official online profiles. A CBP source says the woke initiative forms part of a broader drive by the Biden-Harris government for so-called social justice at a time when the CBP’s core task of border security is faltering.

“We couldn’t care less whether the agency implements a function to allow employees to list a myriad of pronouns on their official profile if we have not worked to secure the border,” said the source, speaking anonymously for fear of retaliation.

“This comes while we are still releasing thousands daily under CBP One, parole programs at airports, and to NGO shelters at the border. These social justice moves only serve to sink morale further,” they added.

Source: U.S. Customs and Border Protection via Breitbart.

CBP employees can reportedly enter a combination of up to 60 characters to describe their pronouns. There are a range of boutique gender identities beyond the standard he/him/himself, she/her/herself, and they/them/themself for the allegedly “non-binary.”

The LGBTQIA Resource Center at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) lists multiple neopronouns, including co/cos/coself, for people who claim to be multiple genders, and em/eir/emself, which is one of many alternative non-binary pronouns.

The White House began asking for pronouns on its online contact form shortly after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were inaugurated, but provides for less customization than CBP, offering only he/him, she/her, they/them, and ‘Other,’ alongside a ‘Prefer not to share’ option.

Vice President Harris is a committed gender ideologue, introducing publicly-funded gender surgeries for prisoners in California and committing to rolling them out for criminals and illegal aliens in government detention nationwide if she becomes President.

BLM Savages Tore Down a Columbus Statue in 2020. Now It’s Back!

A historic bronze statue of Christopher Columbus has been restored and relocated to Blauvelt, New York, after being rescued from a Virginia river where it was thrown by rioters in 2020. The statue, weighing about a ton, was originally erected in Richmond during the 1920s by the Italian-American community. The Italian-American Cultural Association of Virginia (IACAVA) fought to take custody of the statue from Richmond officials after far-left agitators toppled it during the Black Lives Matter (BLM) riots of 2020, and it now stands outside a lodge of the Blauvelt Sons of Italy.

The statue of the Italian explorer spent two years submerged in a river before the IACAVA could rescue it. After this, it was stored in a farmhouse until Sons of Italy Rockland Lodge President Michael Pizzi connected with IACAVA and began the process of restoring it in New York.

At the rededication ceremony attended by over 100 people, Pizzi described Columbus’s statue as a “symbol of discovery, adventure, perseverance, and the spirit of Italian culture.” Catholic priest Father Joe Pavone then blessed the statue, praising Columbus as a “brave, courageous figure” who “in many ways is responsible for bringing our faith to the New World.”

Historic statues and monuments were targeted by rioters and left-wing lawmakers across the United States and the wider West throughout the BLM disorder of 2020 and beyond. These included not just Confederate memorials but also monuments to the Founding Fathers and even Abraham Lincoln.

Statues of Columbus had been a target even before the BLM riots, with many leftist ideologues demonizing him for laying much of the groundwork for the European conquest and settlement of the Americas.

Georgia’s Abortion Ban Overturned by Fulton County Judge.

A Georgia judge has nullified the state’s six-week abortion ban, claiming that it was “arbitrary” and infringed on women’s rights. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney ruled that Georgia’s concept of “liberty” encompasses aborting babies without unwarranted state interference. However, McBurney conceded that this right is not without boundaries, stating society can intervene when an unborn child reaches “viability.”

Following the ruling, abortions—for the time being—are now permitted up to the point of viability, generally around 22 weeks of pregnancy. Previously, the ban made abortions illegal after the detection of a heartbeat, usually at six weeks.

Georgia’s six-week abortion ban had already been nullified once before in November 2022, not long after it came into effect in July of the same year. An appeal by the state Attorney General’s office to Georgia’s Supreme Court resulted in the case being remanded to Fulton County.

Before the latest court ruling, misleading news reports had attributed two women’s deaths to the six-week abortion ban. In one instance, a woman who took abortion pills developed an infection due to the incomplete expulsion of her deceased unborn twins. Despite a medical intervention, she succumbed to the infection. Some media outlets inaccurately claimed the abortion ban caused her death, misrepresenting the legality of D&Cs (dilation and curettage) under the law.

In a separate case, another woman also took abortion pills but did not expel her baby entirely. She subsequently took a fatal dose of painkillers, including fentanyl, and died. Her family claims she did not seek medical care due to misconceptions about the abortion law, even though treatment would have been legally permissible.

Pro-Life Activists Sentenced for Abortion Clinic Protest.

A federal court handed prison sentences to two pro-life activists last week for protesting outside a Tennessee abortion clinic in 2021. They faced charges including “conspiracy against rights” and infringing the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, which the U.S. Justice Department says “prohibits threats of force, obstruction, and property damage intended to interfere with reproductive health care services.” An 89-year-old activist received three years of probation.

U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger sentenced Chester Gallagher to 16 months in prison on September 27. Heather Idoni received an eight-month prison term from Judge Trauger, which will run concurrently with a two-year sentence she is already serving for similar charges related to a 2020 protest in Washington, D.C. U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffery S. Frensley sentenced Eva Edl, 89, to probation on September 26.

Steve Crampton, an attorney from the Thomas More Society representing Calvin Vaughn, who was sentenced in July for his involvement in the Tennessee protest, said it was “a peaceful demonstration by entirely peaceable citizens—filled with prayer, hymn-singing, and worship—oriented toward persuading expectant mothers not to abort their babies.”

In addition to their Tennessee convictions, Edl, Gallagher, Idoni, and another activist, Paul Zastrow, face separate charges under the FACE Act for a protest in Michigan. Edl faces up to 11 years in prison for the Michigan charges.

A ‘Bipartisan’ Bar Tried to Open in DC, Then Libs Cried That an Elephant Image Was ‘Hurtful.’

A new bar in Washington, D.C., whose political theme focused on bipartisan agreement and debate, succumbed to partisan pressure before the establishment could even serve its first drink. Originally billed as Political Pattie’s, the bar was flooded with complaints by liberals who said the establishment’s logo—specifically the Republican Elephant—was offensive and ‘hurtful.’

The complaints have prompted Political Pattie’s owners to not just paint over the elephant—along with its accompanying Democrat Donkey—but to apparently drop the “political” theme altogether. New photos of the bar’s exterior—and new paint job—show its name now simply being “Pattie’s.”

D.C. liberals celebrated the harassment campaign’s achievement, tweeting, “Bullying works.”

While the concept of a politically themed bar in the nation’s capital might seem ironically kitschy, it’s perhaps a bit too on the nose.

Residents of Washington, D.C. would be hard-pressed to name a bar in which at least one person isn’t discussing the political topics of the day. The city, after all, hosts Marx Cafe, a bar and restaurant that serves Greek and Italian fare and is dedicated to Karl Marx and the communist revolution.

Political Pattie’s—located among a string of gay bars along Washington, D.C.’s U Street corridor—promised to be ill-conceived and maybe even dangerous before its hasty rebranding following the left-wing backlash. The cocktails on its menu all have—or had—politically themed names like the “Capitol Mule.” However, perhaps most concerning was the owners’ insistence on placing toy gavels on the tables in the establishment. While most political debate in the capital is peaceful, placing small plastic weapons near inebriated think tankers, lobbyists, journalists, and Capitol Hill staffers may not have been the best idea.

A Trad Dude Complained That Sabrina Carpenter Defiled a Church… Now The Feds Are Involved.

A scandalous music video shot last year in a New York City Catholic church appears to have kicked off—at least in part—a federal investigation into associates of the city’s mayor, Eric Adams. The Catholic priest at the center of the music video controversy now appears to be one of several targets of the federal inquiry into allegations of public corruption that may bring down Mayor Adams, a Democrat.

Last October, pop star Sabrina Carpenter came under fire after filming a risque music video for her song Feather in a Brooklyn-area Catholic church. Carpenter can be seen writhing suggestively on the church’s altar—a blasphemous act of desecration. The fact that Carpenter used a real church and desecrated an actual altar may have gone unnoticed if not for a traditionalist Catholic social media account with the handle “@traddingtonbear.”

The “trad” Catholic social media user posted an inquiry he made with the Brooklyn diocese and its bishop, prompting a quick backlash against the priest and Carpenter in Catholic media. Subsequently, local and religious press frenzy around the controversy drew unwanted attention to Monsignor Jamie Gigantiello—the priest who authorized the music video shoot. Last week, Gigantiello was the subject of a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) subpoena examining business ties between the priest and Frank Carone, Mayor Eric Adams’ ex-chief of staff.

Media responses from the Diocese of Brooklyn on the subpoena direct the press to the coverage of the Sabrina Carpenter controversy, suggesting that the video and news coverage did help draw Gigantiello to the FBI’s attention. Currently, numerous associates of Mayor Adams have been raided by the FBI, while at least one individual has already pleaded guilty to corruption charges.

Another Corporation Terminates Woke DEI Policies.

Manufacturer Stanley Black and Decker is discontinuing its “woke” corporate policy after being pressured by a conservative activist. Robby Starbuck announced via X (formerly Twitter) that the company is scrapping its left-progressive agenda after he contacted them, indicating he intended to expose various contentious policies.

According to Starbuck, key policy changes include the termination of the firm’s involvement in the Corporate Equality Index, the dissolution of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) department, and the cessation of DEI-based training programs. Additionally, the company will no longer make donations to “divisive events” or mandate discriminatory supplier diversity goals.

Previously, Stanley Black and Decker ran prize-giving contests based on the number of staff who could be convinced to put gender pronouns in their email signatures and funded child gender transitions, among other woke policies.

Other corporations, including Lowe’s, Tractor Supply Co, Ford, Jack Daniel’s, Coors Light, and Harley-Davidson, have previously downsized or eliminated DEI programs in response to conservative consumer backlash.

Bud Light is among the brands to have suffered most heavily from such backlash, with sales and stocks in its parent company tumbling following a partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

Nation of Islam Members Convicted Over Child Labor, Starvation.

Six members of the United Nation of Islam have been convicted of conspiracy to commit forced labor. This verdict follows a 26-day trial at the federal district court in Kansas City, Kansas. The convicts include wives of late cult founder Royall Jenkins, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The cult, renamed the Value Creators in 2015, subjected children as young as eight to starvation, physical abuse, and forced 16-hour work days. Prosecutors provided accounts of extreme punishment, including one child being dangled over a railroad track for stealing food and another child resorting to drinking toilet water due to severe thirst.

Kendra Ross, now 31, was among the victims. She joined the cult with her family when she was 11. Ross described being starved, beaten, and sexually abused. She feared leaving the cult due to death threats made by Jenkins. She had previously won an $8 million lawsuit against the cult and returned to testify in the criminal trial.

The cult operated under a veil of secrecy until 2018 when it was identified, and its abusive practices were uncovered. The abused children attended an unlicensed school run by the organization, with schooling sessions often interrupted by the labor demands of the cult.

Jenkins founded the cult in Maryland in 1978 as an offshoot of the Nation of Islam before relocating to Kansas City. Jenkins claimed divinity, telling followers aliens had abducted him and that he was the incarnation of Allah. By the time of his death in 2021, he was in a polygamous relationship with 13 women and fathered at least 20 children. Three of his wives were charged in the recent trial.

School BANS Parents Who Protested Biological Male in Girls’ Soccer Games.

Several parents have been issued “No Trespass” after protesting a male student being allowed to play in a girls’ soccer game. The parents attended the game wearing pink armbands marked “XX” in protest against the inclusion of a transgender player on the opposing team, aiming to support their daughters from Bow High School, New Hampshire.

The parents had previously expressed concerns to the school’s athletic director regarding their daughters playing against a male in a physical sport like soccer. However, they were told that the school could not take action due to a federal judge ruling that the term “girl” includes males who identify as female.

In response, several parents donned pink armbands to show their objection. This led to their receiving “No Trespassing” orders enforced by the police. “My daughter’s playing in the homecoming game this weekend, and I’m banned until the 23rd,” parent Anthony Foote told local mediaI can’t watch her play in homecoming—which is ridiculous.”

According to the order signed by the district’s superintendent, Marcy Kelley, the pink armbands were deemed a violation of the school’s policy against “threatening, harassing, or intimidating any person.” However, videos from the match reportedly show that people upset by the armbands caused the only disruptions.

In August, a federal judge also ruled a Virginia school district could not prevent a male from playing against girls’ middle school tennis teams.

Male access to sports teams and spaces previously reserved for biological women and girls is opposed by GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump. However, President Joe Biden and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris are pushing hard to make “gender identity” rather than biological sex a protected class.
