Trump Snags Critical Tim Scott Endorsement in South Carolina.

Senator Tim Scott, representing South Carolina, is expected to publicly endorse Donald J. Trump in a Friday evening rally in New Hampshire, according to the New York Times. Scott will be journeying to Florida on Friday, joining Trump on the flight toward New Hampshire for the rally in Concord. The endorsement from Scott, the highest-ranking elected Black Republican in America, may spark more conversation about his potential role as Trump’s vice presidential candidate.

Scott’s decision to support Trump comes just weeks after he ended his presidential campaign on November 12. Despite previous statements indicating he wouldn’t endorse any candidate “anytime soon,” the Senator has concluded that Trump is the strongest contestant to challenge President Joe Biden, a source close to Scott indicated.

The news comes as a blow to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and ex-United Nations Ambassador Nimrata Haley, who had both lobbied Scott for his backing.

‘Zuckerbucks’ Group Begins Interfering in 2024 Election.

The Mark Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL), which spent tens of millions of dollars boosting turnout in Democrat districts in 2020, is moving to help election officials secure Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants ahead of the 2024 election. FEMA’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) fund includes $701 million in competitive grants, ostensibly to protect public infrastructure against hazards such as floods  — but the CTCL says it can also be used to “improve elections operations” as “elections are a critical service.”

The CTCL is leading a webinar series, starting January 25th, to help election officials apply for the FEMA grants and provide “inspiration for what the grant funds can be used for.” Previously, the CTCL used “Zuckerbucks” from the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative to fund supposedly nonpartisan projects in collaboration with local officials to increase turnout.

These projects overwhelmingly benefited Democrat-leaning areas. Phillip Kline of the Amistad Project argues the spending was, therefore, illegal, as it resulted in some voters having more opportunities to vote and have their votes counted than others.

“[W] e’ve privatized our elections, that’s the problem,” Kline said of the involvement of actors like the CTCL in elections earlier this month.

“We have private resources in election offices… America’s been kicked out of the counting room, nonprofits, and billionaires have been invited in,” added the former Kansas Attorney General.

DeSantis Repeatedly Bragged About ‘Earning Every Vote.’ Now He’s Skipping New Hampshire.

In the wake of his distant second-place finish in Iowa, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is skipping the New Hampshire Primary to focus his campaign’s efforts on South Carolina. According to reports, DeSantis will appear at campaign events in South Carolina this weekend and is moving most of his New Hampshire staff to the Palmetto State.

DeSantis’s focus on South Carolina and his decision to effectively abandon the New Hampshire Primary is at odds with the image the GOP presidential candidate presented during his efforts to win Iowa. “No candidate has worked harder to earn your vote,” he said just days before the Iowa caucuses. “I will brave whatever is thrown at me — nothing is handed to you in life,” DeSantis posted on X (formerly Twitter). “If we have to trudge through snow to earn the vote, we’ll trudge through snow!”

Social media accounts supporting the Florida Governor’s campaign echoed a similar sentiment. “This right here is why DeSantis deserves your respect and vote, nobody has worked harder to earn it!” wrote one supporter on X in response to a story about Casey DeSantis door knocking in Iowa. “DeSantis will earn the vote no matter the cost,” wrote another.

Despite DeSantis’s extensive ground campaign and extraordinary expenditure in Iowa, the Florida governor only managed to win 21 percent of the Iowa caucus vote, far behind first-place finisher Donald Trump.

‘Expert’ Who Claims Trump Cost E. Jean Carroll $12.1M Admits No Experience in Reputation Management, is Long-Standing Democrat Donor.

Ashlee Humphreys, the reputation repair “expert” who testified on behalf of E. Jean Carroll on Thursday, admitted under cross-examination that she has no “real world” experience in the field. Humphreys, a professor at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, testified that the cost to repair the damage Trump’s alleged defamation caused to Carroll’s reputation could run as high as $12.1 million – a point seized upon by corporate media outlets.

But upon questioning from Trump attorney Michael Madaio, Humphreys was forced to admit having no “real world” experience in the field, in an exchange entirely omitted by legacy media news coverage.

Madaio asked, “Have you ever executed a reputation repair program?” with the so-called expert responding, “Never.” Madaio followed up, asking the Northwestern professor: “You have no real-world experience?” Before Humphreys could answer, left-wing Judge Lewis Kaplan interjected, mocking the question, stating: “There was birth, adolescence… those are real-world experiences.”

The National Pulse can also reveal that Humphreys has a long track record of contributions to Democrat political groups — making numerous donations through “ActBlue,” which facilitated Black Lives Matter funds, and “Swing Left,” with Federal Election Commission records showing her donating history included supporting candidates, as well as political action committee work and projects such as “Stop Republicans.”

While under cross-examination, the partisan Democrat professor also acknowledged she had not factored in any positive messages about E. Jean Carroll into her damages estimate. According to Humphreys, her $12.1 million estimate was based on analyzing the number of individuals who encountered former President Trump’s comments through traditional news outlets and social media posts.

Judge Lewis Kaplan, presiding over the defamation trial, has injected his own partisan bias into the proceedings numerous times. Before the start of the trial, Kaplan ruled Trump could not challenge Carroll’s claim that the former President raped her in the 1990s. During jury selection, the left-wing judge actively involved himself in screening out any potential jurors who held remotely right-leaning political beliefs.

Humphreys also testified in Carroll’s original defamation case against President Trump and was called as an expert in Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s defamation case in Georgia.

DeSantis Press Sec Attacks Trump for Being In ‘Basement’ While Ex Prez Attends Melania’s Mother’s Funeral.

Jeremy Redfern, press secretary for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has baselessly accused former President Donald Trump of hiding in a “basement” instead of being on the presidential campaign trail. Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, was in Florida earlier today to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law Amalija Knavs, having delivered two speeches in New Hampshire this week already and appearing twice in court in Manhattan. Trump speaks again Friday night in Concord, NH.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Redfern wrote: “Current location of presidential candidates not named Ron DeSantis – Nikki Haley: Basement Donald Trump: Basement Joe Biden: Basement.” The post was a predictably tone-deaf attempt to score political points for Redfern’s boss, DeSantis.

Redfern, who serves in the Office of the Florida Governor, is not employed by the DeSantis presidential campaign. The political nature of his X post, written at 9:15 am ET, questions whether the state government employee was campaigning on the Florida taxpayer’s dime.

Florida law stipulates that “an employee of the state or any political subdivision may not participate in any political campaign for an elective office while on duty… Any person violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.”

Users on X criticized Redfern’s vile post — including Jason Miller, a senior advisor to Trump, who noted the former President was at the funeral with his wife Melania and family at the time. Political consultant Alex Bruesewitz called Redfern “vile” and “a scumbag.”

The former First Lady memorialized her late mother at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida. “Her nurturing spirit had no limits, creating a legacy that will last for generations,” said Melania Trump on Thursday morning. “She was my dear friend, an irreplaceable treasure, a gift bestowed upon me by the universe. And for that, I am entirely grateful. Rest in peace, my beloved mommy.”

EXC – Trump to Declare ‘I Will Never Allow Central Bank Digital Currency’ in New Hampshire Speech.

President Donald J. Trump is expected to denounce Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) in an address in New Hampshire on Wednesday evening.

In from his New York trial for the second day running, Trump is expected to tell the crowd in Portsmouth, “Tonight, I am also making another promise to protect Americans from government tyranny.

“As your president, I will never allow the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. Such a currency would give the federal government absolute control over your money. This would be a dangerous threat to freedom – and I will stop it from coming to America. We are also going to put in place strong protections to stop banks and regulators from trying to de-bank you for your political beliefs. That will never happen while I am your president.”

The comments are believed to be the first time the 45th President has intervened on the subject of CBDCs – a digital currency issued by a nation’s central bank, such as the Federal Reserve. The news comes one day after Trump shared the stage with Vivek Ramaswamy, who has been increasingly vocal on the subject.

Top DeSantis Aide Has Meltdown on X: Bemoans Low Pay and Lack of Vacation Time Working for Ron.

Christina Pushaw, the Rapid Response Director for the DeSantis campaign, is not taking the Florida Governor’s landslide defeat in Iowa in stride. The campaign flack posted a lengthy rant on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday portraying her dedication to the collapsing campaign as a selfless act.

“I personally would have a better life outside of politics,” Pushaw wrote. “I would probably be able to earn more money at a private sector job and have more free time and maybe even take a vacation once in a while,” she added, in what appeared to be a dig at her own negotiated salary and allowed time off. During a major incident in her boss’s state last year, Pushaw took time away from her desk to attend yoga classes.

Pushaw’s most recent outburst was in response to calls for her and other DeSantis campaign officials to be ‘blacklisted’ from Republican political circles. The Florida Governor’s refusal to drop out of the primary contest after Donald Trump’s historic margin of victory in the Iowa Caucus drew criticism from numerous Republican Party officials and activists.

The DeSantis campaign’s communication team members—including Pushaw, Jeremy Redfern, and Bryan Griffin — have repeatedly come under fire for their erratic social media outbursts. This past September, Pushaw attacked pro-life stalwart Frank Pavone over his endorsement of former President Donald Trump. She suggested the Vatican’s decision to defrock the former Catholic priest made sense given his support for Trump. When Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity (AFP) endorsed Nimarata ‘Nikki’ Haley for the Republican presidential nomination, Pushaw took to social media to denounce the organization as “the establishment” — despite having previously worked for AFP herself.

Last month, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted the online behavior of the DeSantis team during an interview at Turning Point Action’s AmericaFest. “The people who represent him online are the nastiest, the stupidest, and the most zero-sum people I’ve ever seen in my life,” Carlson said.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon: Trump ‘Wasn’t Wrong’ On Critical Issues.

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said during an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump “wasn’t wrong” about a number of critical issues.

“He was kind of right about NATO, he was kind of right about immigration, he grew the economy quite well, tax reform worked, he was right about some of China,” Dimon said in the interview with CNBC. “He wasn’t wrong about some of these critical issues, and that’s why they’re voting for him.”

A Democrat, Dimon made the comments while explaining that his Party is too quick to vilify the MAGA movement and its supporters. “I wish the Democrats would think a little bit more carefully when they talk about MAGA,” he said. “When people say MAGA, they’re actually looking at people who voted for Trump, and they’re basically scapegoating them, that you are like him,” Dimon continued. “I think this negative talk about MAGA is going to hurt Biden’s reelection campaign.”

Ron DeSantis’s ‘Never Back Down’ PAC Lays Off Staff.

Never Back Down, the super PAC supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign, began staff layoffs on Wednesday. An official at the PAC revealed that those laid off will be paid through January, but the extent of the layoffs is currently unknown.

According to George Andrews, a Never Back Down employee who was let go on Wednesday, budget cuts were responsible. “As of 6 am this morning, I learned I am now a free agent due to budget cuts beyond my control,” Andrews wrote in a post on LinkedIn.

The layoffs follow DeSantis’s resounding defeat to former President Donald Trump in the Iowa caucuses. Though DeSantis came in second place, he trailed Trump by a margin of 30 points. An official who spoke to the New York Times off the record said the PAC was “evaluating and paring down” other consultants, vendors, and staff members.

Despite the layoffs, Never Back Down CEO Scott Wagner released a statement insisting that the PAC will continue to work to get DeSantis elected.

Never Back Down continues to host a slew of events on the ground for Gov. DeSantis in South Carolina, New Hampshire, and beyond aligned with our core mission of mobilizing grass-roots field operations in those states,” Wagner said. “We’ve mobilized several members of our robust Iowa team over to the other early primary states to help in these efforts and will continue working to help elect Gov. DeSantis, the most effective conservative leader in the race, our next President.”

E Jean Carroll Admits She Told Trump Stories Because Her ‘Book Was Not Selling,’ Confirms George Conway Convinced Her to Sue.

Bizarro advice columnist and rape fantasist E Jean Carroll has admitted that former husband to Kelly Anne Conway, George Conway, convinced her to sue President Donald J. Trump following a meeting at a party hosted by far-left columnist Molly Jong-Fast. The claim, now confirmed by Carroll, was initially reported in April 2023.

In addition to Carroll’s admission over the far-left plot against Trump, she also disclosed under questioning by her own counsel that she told friends and colleagues she was okay, despite the President’s denials over sexually abusing her in a Bergdorf Goodman changing room in the mid-90s. When questioned about her upbeat demeanor, she responded in court on Wednesday: “That’s the public E. Jean.”

She is now seeking further damages from President Trump for his continuing insistence that her story – oddly similar to a plotline from the TV show Law and Order – never happened.

During the questioning, Carroll also let slip that she embarked upon a media tour about her story about the 45th President because “journalists wanted to hear about President Trump.” She added: “I saw that the book was not selling, so I tried to talk about it.”
