The Atlantic Claims Trump Mistreated A Slain Soldier. Her Family Disagrees – Strongly.

Jeffrey Goldberg, the Editor-in-Chief of The Atlantic magazine, is pushing an unfounded smear campaign against President Donald J. Trump just weeks before the November presidential election. In a story regarding Trump’s relationship with the military, Goldberg—reliant on his signature use of hearsay quotes from anonymous sources—attempts to claim Trump denigrated murdered U.S. soldier Vanessa Guillén. However, Goldberg’s smear is receiving pushback from the Guillén family, namely Venessa’s sister Mayra Guillén.

“Wow. I don’t appreciate how you are exploiting my sister’s death for politics—hurtful [and] disrespectful to the important changes she made for service members,” Mayra Guillén wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter), responding to The Atlantic and Goldberg. She added: “President Donald Trump did nothing but show respect to my family [and] Vanessa. In fact, I voted for President Trump today.”

‘ANONYMOUS SOURCES.’

Relying on anonymous sources and allegedly contemporaneous notes of a December 4, 2020, Oval Office meeting with national security and defense officials, Goldberg claims Trump balked at having to pay $60,000 for Vanessa Guillén’s funeral. According to Goldberg’s unnamed sources, Trump referred to the deceased soldier as “a f**king Mexican.” Notably, two officials present at the December meeting—former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Kash Patel, Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense—are both on the record saying the former Republican president never said what Goldberg alleges.

In an even stranger twist, Goldberg goes on to insinuate—again without actual evidence—that a Trump campaign spokesman authored a statement from the Guillén family dismissing the allegations in his report. The Atlantic Editor-in-Chief goes out of his way to mention that he repeatedly asked the spokesman if they wrote the statement and that the individual repeatedly denied the accusation.

‘SUCKERS & LOSERS’ HOAX.

This isn’t the first time that Goldberg has attempted to smear Trump by publishing the gossip of anonymous Washington, D.C. insiders. Goldberg claimed in 2020 that Trump had, while in France for the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War two years previously, called the country’s war dead “suckers” and “losers.”

The hoax was initially relayed to Goldberg through unnamed officials he alleges were familiar with the matter. However, 25 people, including 14 who had been part of Trump’s entourage in France, subsequently denied the remarks were ever made. John Bolton, who was present at the conversation where the “losers” comment was supposedly uttered, is among those who have confirmed the story is “simply false,” despite his hostile relationship with the former president.

Joe Biden Just Said the Quiet Part Out Loud.

President Joe Biden let slip one of the most controversial statements this campaign about his former opponent, President Donald J. Trump, stating during a campaign event in New Hampshire this week that he wants to “lock up” the 45th President despite the fact that no further charges are being brought against the former president between now and the election.

Initially, Biden stated, “We gotta lock him up,” but then hastily tried to alter his comment to clarify the need to “politically lock him up,” adding, “lock him out.”

In recent years, the Biden-Harris regime has launched multiple criminal cases against Trump, spearheaded by Special Counsel Jack Smith.

However, Smith has been plagued by several issues during his attempts to jail the former president, including having to admit that evidence may have been tampered with by the FBI following the 2022 raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.

Last year, CNN legal analyst Elie Honig admitted that Smith intended to lock Trump up prior to the election but has so far been unsuccessful.

Overall, Trump faces 34 felony counts linked to attempts to allegedly cover up “hush money” payments to Stormy Daniels, as well as allegations by prosecutors that he tried to overturn the 2020 election result.

However, many of the prosecutions have either stalled or mostly collapsed, including the Georgia case brought by Democrat Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, with a judge dismissing several counts last month.

Willis is not attempting to reinstate six counts that were previously dismissed in the case, while Trump and his lawyers have previously attempted to have Willis removed from the case entirely after it emerged that the lead prosecutor she hired was also her romantic partner.

‘GPS Spoofing’ Plagues GOP Canvassing App – What Does it Mean?

A video allegedly showing an America PAC vote canvasser in Nevada using GPS spoofing technology to simulate door-to-door voter outreach without actually visiting the locations is raising concerns President Donald J. Trump’s get-out-the-vote operation may be compromised. First obtained by the Guardian newspaper, the footage appears to be an instructional video outlining how users can download an application to falsely position themselves at targeted addresses, complete with fabricated survey responses.

America PAC—backed by a $75 million contribution from tech billionaire Elon Musk—has largely spearheaded voter outreach efforts for Trump’s presidential campaign in several critical swing states. If the use of GPS spoofing applications is widespread among canvassers, it could seriously undermine efforts to mobilize Trump’s voter base in critical battleground states like Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

Despite the release of the video, the full extent of the spoofing practice remains uncertain, largely due to the difficulty of detecting such activities without corroborative data from alternative tracking systems. However, the Guardian notes it casts doubt on the authenticity of voter interactions reported by America PAC’s field operations.

In response to these developments, America PAC, alongside its vendors Blitz, Patriot Grassroots, Echo Canyon, and the Synapse Group, issued a statement asserting their use of advanced auditing tools designed to identify fraudulent activities and ensure accountability within their operations. Additionally, Blitz—which oversees canvassing efforts in Arizona and Nevada—employs the Quickbooks Workforce app that includes tracking features—although these can be circumvented by disabling location services.

America PAC is not alone in facing such challenges; GPS spoofing has been a longstanding issue in political canvassing that is costly to monitor effectively.

Newspaper That Has Endorsed Dems Since 2008 Passes on Kamala.

The Los Angeles Times is declining to endorse a presidential candidate in the 2024 election despite previously endorsing Democratic candidates in every election cycle since 2008. Owner Patrick Soon-Shiong reportedly blocked the editorial board from endorsing Kamala Harris via executive editor Terry Tang.

The newspaper has not explained its decision, but Semfaor notes the LA Times has “raised eyebrows over several local endorsements it made in recent election cycles of candidates supported by Soon-Shiong’s daughter Nika.”

Nika Soon-Shiong promotes pro-Palestinian politicians and far-left policy positions on issues such as reparations. She frequently posts or reposts content jabbing at the Harris-Walz campaign and the Biden-Harris government for their stance on Israel and other issues on social media.

“Project 2025 is not responsible for FEMA’s $9 billion budget shortfall – announced alongside $8.7 billion in new military ‘aid’ to Israel,” she posted on October 2, in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Harris’s failure to appeal to leftists like Nika Soon-Shiong could cost her the 2024 race, with voters with strong views on Israel and Palestinian issues staying home or voting third party rather than backing a candidate they regard as complicit in Israeli military action in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

Arab Americans, including the mayor of Muslim-majority Hamtramck, are increasingly backing Donald Trump, and the Michigan campaign group that urged Democrats to vote ‘Uncommitted’ rather than for the now-ousted Joe Biden in the Democratic primary is refusing to endorse Harris.

Kamala Campaign Smashes the Panic Button in Michigan.

Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign is fretting over whether the Democratic Vice President will be able to hold the so-called “blue wall” states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The three Rust Belt states typically trend together in terms of which candidate wins their electoral votes—though there are some signs that may change this election cycle. According to a senior Harris campaign official, Michigan has especially become a concern.

“There has been a thought that maybe Michigan or Wisconsin will fall off,” a Harris campaign official tells NBC News. The individual, along with other Harris campaign sources, stresses that Michigan is the bigger concern at the moment.

Should Harris lose either Michigan or Wisconsin, her path to the White House becomes far more difficult. The Democratic Vice President would need to make up for the loss with a win in North Carolina or a combination of several other swing states to reach 270 electoral votes. However, the Harris campaign is also feeling less confident regarding North Carolina, with at least one campaign official acknowledging the state appears to be slipping away.

A combination of factors is complicating the Democratic Party’s efforts to win Michigan. Arab-American voters are showing signs of turning against Harris over U.S. support for Israel’s war against Hamas and Hezbollah. Meanwhile, several recent endorsements of  President Donald J. Trump by Arab-American and Muslim leaders in Michigan are likely to push the community toward the Republican nominee.

Additionally, Trump has seen a surge in support from rank-and-file union members, with polling conducted by the Teamsters suggesting their members are breaking for the former president by a nearly two-to-one margin over Harris. A decisive break for Trump among working-class voters could potentially push the entire “blue wall” into the Republican column on election night.

New Election Integrity Rules Blocked… By Anti-Trump ‘Republicans.’

The Georgia Supreme Court has blocked a Republican-backed mandate that would have required poll workers to hand-count ballots during the 2024 election. The court’s unanimous decision prevents the rule, which would have helped ensure election integrity in the Peach State. It is unclear at this point whether the case can be further appealed, though The National Pulse understands that advocates for the rules are actively exploring their options in real-time.

The mandate, pushed by three members of the state election board, would have forced poll workers to manually tally ballots cast at each precinct and compare them to machine counts. While it wouldn’t require the hand-counting of actual votes, supporters claimed the measure would catch early errors and boost public trust in the process.

State officials linked to Republican-In-Name-Only (RINO) Governor Brian Kemp complained it would do the opposite by “overburdening” poll workers. As a result, a RINO-group called Eternal Vigilance Action filed the case with the State Supreme Court.

Eternal Vigilance Action is run by local Kemp ally Scot Turner, who is also a part of the local Peach Politics blog founded by anti-Trump commentator Erick Erickson. Turner recently wrote on his blog: “Trump can, in fact, still earn my vote. To do so, all he needs to do is lick the bottom of Brian Kemp’s shoes clean after he has accidentally stepped in a pile of dog crap at one of Marty Kemp’s pet adoption events at the Governor’s Mansion. And I am going to need to see it in person. After that, I will gladly vote for Trump, but not until then.”

Erickson is most recently known for his anti-Trump, pro-Ron DeSantis activism during the Republican Party primary.

In addition to blocking the hand-count rule, the court also rejected a separate election board measure allowing a “reasonable inquiry” into results before certification, further preventing delays and potential disruptions to the election process.

Though the court’s ruling prevents these rules from taking effect in the upcoming election, it indicated that the board’s power to issue such regulations could be reviewed in the future.

When Will Joe Rogan Interview Trump? Here’s What We Know.

Former President Donald J. Trump will record an interview with UFC commentator, stand-up comic, and top podcaster Joe Rogan on Friday, as predicted by The National Pulse’s Editor-in-Chief back in August.

The Joe Rogan Experience podcast is one of the biggest platforms online, boasting over 14 million followers on Spotify and over 16 million followers on YouTube.

Raheem Kassam said in late August that he “expect[ed] Trump to sit for a Rogan interview in the last week of October” in an “October Surprise for “Bernie-Trump voters.”

The National Pulse chief described these voters, whom Trump has been reaching through surrogates such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, as “crunchy-ish,” sharing Trump’s anti-war views but also concerned with “lifestyle” issues such as seed oils in foods and “what their clothes are made of.”

Rogan is himself a former Bernie Sanders supporter and an admirer of RFK Jr., and he frequently discusses the importance of fitness, nutrition, and nature on his podcast.

ROGAN’S RECORD.

Despite taking flak from left-liberal media for his views on, for instance, vaccines and biological males in women’s sports, Rogan has long insisted he is “a bleeding heart liberal when it comes to a lot of s**t,” including abortion, homosexual marriage, and welfare.

While he endorsed Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary in 2020, Rogan said prior to that year’s election that he would “rather vote for Trump than [Joe Biden],” citing the latter’s poor cognitive condition.

In June 2022, he offered Florida Governor Ron DeSantis a quasi-endorsement, saying he was “not perfect” but “would work as a good president.”  The following month, he excoriated Trump, saying, “I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time. I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him.”

Most recently, he said independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was “the only one that makes sense to me.” Since then, RFK Jr. has endorsed Trump. Rogan’s stance on Trump may have softened around the same time, with the podcaster saying that “Trump raising his fist and saying ‘fight!’ after getting shot is one of the most American f***ing things of all time.”

Trump Threatens CBS with Lawsuit for Concealing Kamala’s ’60 Minutes’ Transcript.

Former President Donald J. Trump‘s legal team has threatened legal action against CBS News if the network does not publish the full transcript of its 60 Minutes interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. The controversy centers on differing versions of Harris’s response to a question about Israel. A promotional clip of the interview showed a long, rambling answer. However, the version of the interview that went to air shows an entirely different, more assured answer, with the original not present even in the interview’s written transcript.

Attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik, representing Trump, accuses CBS of manipulative editing intended to confuse voters about Harris’s capabilities, presenting her in a more favorable light. He argues that news outlets have a duty to present accurate information rather than skew interviews to benefit a preferred candidate. Trump’s legal team has requested the release of the complete, unedited transcript to the public, emphasizing the network’s obligation to retain all related documents and communications for potential litigation.

CBS claims the disparity results from using different sections of the same answer in their programming. A statement released by 60 Minutes says that an excerpt given to Face the Nation included a lengthier segment than what was eventually broadcast. The network maintains that the excerpts were part of one consistent response—but the originally released version of Harris’s answer is not just longer, it is completely different.

On Truth Social, Trump denounced the editing as potentially the biggest scandal in broadcast history and demanded CBS release the full transcript, alleging that Harris’s response was altered significantly to enhance her image.

FCC Commissioner Says Facebook is Censoring Factually Accurate Critiques of Kamala Harris.

U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Brendan Carr is criticizing Facebook, owned by Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta conglomerate, for censoring factually accurate content critical of the Biden-Harris regime. Carr took to X (formerly Twitter) to expose a case where Facebook flagged a post that accurately pointed out the failure of a Harris-led rural broadband expansion initiative, labeling it as “false information” despite the post being truthful.

The censored post highlighted that the Biden-Harris government promised to spend $42 billion to expand Internet coverage across the U.S., yet to date, no households or businesses have actually been connected under the plan. According to Carr, the post was flagged by one of Facebook’s so-called “fact-checkers,” who are often criticized for biased assessments. While the post wasn’t removed outright, Facebook’s algorithms significantly reduced its visibility, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitting that flagged posts receive 95 percent fewer clicks and up to 47 percent fewer shares.

Carr noted the irony of the “fact-checkers” citing officials from the very government being criticized to issue their “false information” rating. He stressed that the censorship is taking place despite the fact that “Zuckerberg promised Congress that it had stopped censoring posts at the behest of the Biden-Harris Administration.”

Carr has long accused Big Tech of political and ideological bias, asserting that platforms like Meta and Google are “building in” bias into their algorithms, which control everything from search results to artificial intelligence (AI) outputs. He has called this trend a significant threat to freedom of expression and an “existential crisis for democracy.”

Just 28% of Men in Georgia Support Kamala Harris.

Vice President Kamala Harris‘s 2024 presidential campaign continues to struggle to win over male voters. A new survey in Georgia shows the Democratic candidate with just 28 percent support among men in the Peach State. Conducted by the University of Georgia’s Survey Research Center on behalf of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the poll finds former President Donald J. Trump capturing 59 percent of male voters.

The survey suggests a substantial gender gap affects Harris’ campaign prospects in the crucial southern swing state, which offers 16 electoral votes. Harris’s approval rating among men stands at just 29 percent, with 59 percent disapproving of her performance. Meanwhile, Trump’s near two-to-one margin among male voters is a significant factor in his overall 47 percent to 43 percent lead over Harris in Georgia, according to the poll.

The gender gap does show a different picture among women, where Harris leads with 55 percent support compared to Trump’s 37 percent. However, this advantage is not sufficient to close the overall gap. In terms of age demographics, Trump leads across most groups except for the 30 to 44-year-olds, where Harris has a 10-point lead. Trump holds sway among 18 to 29-year-olds by eight points, 45 to 64-year-olds by 10 points, and seniors by two points.

Racial demographics also play a role in the current standings. Trump has substantial support from white voters, with 66 percent backing him against Harris’ 28 percent. Conversely, Harris garners 74 percent support from black voters, though 18 percent remain undecided, which is an increase from previous surveys.

Internal Democratic support poses a concern for Harris, with 11 percent of Democrats undecided despite her receiving 88 percent backing from the party. Meanwhile, 95 percent of Republicans support Trump. The survey further notes the competitive race for the vice presidency in Georgia, with Republican J.D. Vance holding a slight edge over Democrat Tim Walz in approval ratings.

Overall, 41 percent of respondents believe Trump will likely win in November, while 39 percent think Harris will emerge victorious.
