An American Pastor Was Kidnapped in South Africa. The Hunt Continues.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: An American pastor, Josh Sullivan, was kidnapped at gunpoint in South Africa while conducting a prayer service.

👥 Who’s Involved: Josh Sullivan, the South African Police Service’s Hawks unit, and Sullivan’s family.

📍 Where & When: Last Thursday, Motherwell, South Africa.

💬 Key Quote: “Please pray for Josh Sullivan,” the Fellowship Baptist Church in Tennessee posted on Facebook.

⚠️ Impact: Concerns for his safety have led to an ongoing search and calls for information from the public.

IN FULL:

Authorities are combing South Africa for a missing American missionary, Josh Sullivan, who was reportedly abducted last week during a prayer service in the town of Motherwell. Sullivan, 35, from Tennessee, has been living with his family in South Africa since 2018, connected to the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Local police stated that armed individuals entered the church, capturing Sullivan and forcibly transporting him in his vehicle, which was soon found deserted in the vicinity. The South African Police Service’s special unit, Hawks, confirmed their active investigation into this incident, emphasizing their commitment to securing his safe return.

The U.S. State Department has acknowledged the situation, but Sullivan’s location remains unknown as of Tuesday. His family, back in the United States, has taken to social media requesting prayers and support. “My heart is breaking,” his mother, Tonya Rinker, expressed on Facebook, urging continuous prayers for her family and describing Sullivan as a devoted and God-serving individual.

“Please pray for Josh Sullivan,” the Fellowship Baptist Church in Tennessee posted. They also mentioned receiving derogatory remarks about their missionary activities.

Sullivan’s case comes as the United States and South Africa have seen a fraying in their diplomatic relations. This is partially due to the South African government looking to seize land from white farmers without compensation.

A similar move was enacted by Zimbabwe decades ago and led to deaths, a collapse in food production, and massive economic problems. Now, after the fall of the late dictator Robert Mugabe, the government of Zimbabwe has decided to enact some measures to compensate those who had their land seized.

Teen Accused of Murdering Parents in Plot to Assassinate Trump, FBI Reports.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: A 17-year-old in Wisconsin is accused of killing his mother and stepfather to obtain resources and freedom in order to execute a plan to assassinate President Donald J. Trump and overthrow the U.S. federal government.

👥 Who’s Involved: Nikita Casap, his stepfather Donald Mayer, his mother Tatiana Casap, Waukesha County, Wisconsin authorities, and federal investigators.

📍 Where & When: The incident occurred in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, with the arrests made in March. A preliminary court hearing on Casap’s state charges was held on April 9, with the 17-year-old set to be formally arraigned on May 7.

💬 Key Quote: “He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the President and overthrow the government,” investigators said in the affidavit.

⚠️ Impact: The incident prompted federal charges in addition to the state counts.

IN FULL:

Authorities in Wisconsin have charged a teenager with the murder of his mother and stepfather, citing intentions to use their assets to execute plans to assassinate President Donald J. Trump and overthrow the federal government. Nikita Casap, 17, faces multiple state charges, including two counts of first-degree murder following the March incident. Authorities located the bodies of Donald Mayer, 51, and Tatiana Casap, 35, within their Waukesha County residence.

Prosecutors also charged Casap with hiding bodies, theft, and identity theft. In addition to the state prosecution, the 17-year-old will also likely face federal charges, according to affidavits filed by federal investigators. Based on a review of a manifesto allegedly written by the teenager, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) believes Casap likely communicated with other individuals regarding his plot—suggesting the possibility of a broader conspiracy.

A search warrant on the teenager’s phone uncovered affiliations with “The Order of Nine Angles,” a group associated with extremist and racially charged ideology. In his manifesto, Casap allegedly advocates for violent actions to “save the white race” alongside imagery revering Adolf Hitler.

“He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the President and overthrow the government of the United States. And he paid for, at least in part, a drone and explosives to be used as a weapon of mass destruction to commit an attack,” federal investigators state in the affidavit. They add: “Other parties, with whom Casap was in contact, appear to have been aware of his plan and action and to have provided assistance to Casap in carrying them out.”

During the 2024 election, President Trump was the target of two assassination attempts, with the first would-be assassin striking the America First leader’s ear with a bullet during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The second assassination attempt involved pro-Ukraine activist Ryan Routh, who was discovered with a rifle hiding along the treeline at Trump International Golf Club, only a short distance from the America First leader.

DOJ Charges Suspect in Arson Attacks on Tesla Showroom, GOP Office.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Federal authorities detained a man following arson incidents at a Tesla showroom and the Republican Party headquarters in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

👥 Who’s Involved: Jamison Wagner, aged 40, is the suspect in these arson attacks.

📍Where & When: The attacks took place in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with the Republican Party office fire reported on March 30, 2025, and the Tesla showroom attack occurring on February 9.

💬 Key Quote: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated, “Hurling firebombs is not political protest… it is a dangerous felony that we will prosecute to the maximum extent.”

⚠️ Impact: Wagner faces charges that could lead to up to 20 years in prison per count if found guilty.

IN FULL:

A 40-year-old New Mexico man has been apprehended by federal authorities in relation to arson attacks targeting both a Tesla showroom and the Republican Party headquarters in Albuquerque. The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the arrest of Jamison Wagner on Monday, charging him with two federal counts of malicious damage or destruction of property by fire or explosives.

The arrest comes amid a number of recent arrests for attacks and acts of vandalism against Tesla properties and vehicles. Tesla and its CEO, Elon Musk, have been the target of increasingly violent leftist rhetoric over the billionaire technology mogul’s work with President Donald J. Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—tasked with rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse in federal agencies. Wagner’s February 9 arson attack on the Tesla showroom also included the defacement of the building with graffiti carrying incendiary messages against Musk. Two electric vehicles were burned in the Tesla showroom attack, with one being seriously damaged.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has made it clear that such actions are being treated as severe crimes, emphasizing in a statement, “Hurling firebombs is not political protest… it is a dangerous felony that we will prosecute to the maximum extent.”

In late March, Wagner followed up his Tesla showroom attack, this time targeting the Republican Party of New Mexico’s (RPNM) headquarters in Albuquerque using several incendiary devices. The fire damaged the front door and entryway of the RPNM office, and Wagner again defaced the building exterior with graffiti—this time stating “ICE=KKK.”

Wagner is currently in federal custody pending a hearing regarding his detention. He faces upwards of 20 years in prison on each count if convicted.

U.S. Deports More Violent Illegals, Including Tren de Aragua Gang Members, to El Salvador.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: The Trump administration deported another 10 violent illegal immigrants to El Salvador this past weekend, where they will be held at the country’s CECOT prison facility used to house dangerous criminals and gang members.

👥 Who’s Involved: President Donald J. Trump, President Nayib Bukele, federal immigration officials, and 10 violent criminal illegal immigrants—including five members of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua gang.

📍 Where & When: The United States and El Salvador’s CECOT prison, the weekend of April 11-13, 2025.

💬 Key Quote: “He’s taking care of a lot of problems that we have that we really wouldn’t be able to take care of from a cost standpoint. And he’s… been amazing. We have some very bad people in that prison. People that should have never been allowed into our country,” said President Trump regarding El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele.

⚠️ Impact: The 10 new deportees join over 200 other violent illegal immigrant criminals that the Trump administration has removed from the United States and sent to El Salvador as federal immigration officials continue to enact President Trump’s mass deportation policy.

IN FULL:

Federal immigration enforcement agents removed another 10 violent, illegal immigrant criminals from the United States over the weekend, placing them aboard a government flight bound for El Salvador. The Trump White House has deported over 200 illegal immigrants who have committed violent crimes or are identified as members of dangerous gangs to the Central American nation since reaching an agreement in February with El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele to house deportees in his country’s CECOT super-prison.

Senior administration officials indicated that five of the 10 illegal immigrants—all either Venezuelan or El Salvadoran nationals—deported to CECOT were confirmed as members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang. The other five deportees were considered active threats to American citizens, having a litany of prior convictions for assault, rape, robbery, and making terroristic threats.

The latest deportations come as President Trump hosted Bukele at the White House on Monday, with the aim of further solidifying the relationship between the United States and El Salvador. Ensuring continued access and use of El Salvador’s CECOT prison is a key goal for the Trump White House, with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stating last week that thousands more illegal immigrants may soon be sent to the facility.

“I want to thank you for the great job you’re doing. I appreciate it,” Trump said during a press event with the El Salvadoran leader in the Oval Office.

Responding, President Bukele emphasized his commitment to assisting the Trump administration’s deportation actions, stating: “We’re very eager to help. We know you have a crime problem, a terrorism problem you need help with. If we can help, we can do it.”

Teen Boy Thrown to His Death from Apartment Building by Syrian Migrants.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: A 15-year-old boy has been killed in Hamburg, Germany, after being thrown from the eighth floor of a 14-story high-rise by a group of Syrian men who forced their way into his apartment.

👥 Who’s Involved: The victim was a 15-year-old Iraqi boy; according to Hamburg police. His attackers were four Syrian teenagers and young men (16, 17, 20, 20) and a 22-year-old Iraqi woman.

📍 Where & When: Hamburg, Germany, last night.

💬 Key Quote: “The bad thing is that children are growing up in Hamburg (and not only there) who don’t know anything else about life—they will increasingly perceive such conditions as ‘normal.'” — Sven Wendorf, Member of the German Bundestag (parliament).

⚠️ Impact: The home invasion and subsequent murder is the latest violent attack perpetrated by migrants in Germany, which has seen voters flock to the nationalist and populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party as a result of migrant crime.

IN FULL:

A 15-year-old boy of Iraqi origin fell to his death in Hamburg, Germany, after a group of Syrian migrants forced their way into his apartment and pushed him from the eighth floor of the 14-story building. According to Hamburg police, a group of Syrian teenagers and young men aged between 16 and 20, along with a 22-year-old Iraqi woman, have been detained as suspects in the attack.

Hamburg police state that the attack took place last night, with firefighters and emergency personnel arriving at the Soltauer Ring apartment complex and discovering the victim at around 1:15 AM. First responders attempted emergency resuscitation on the teenage victim; however, according to police, the 15-year-old boy died shortly thereafter.

Witnesses told police that the group of Syrian migrants had forced their way into the teenager’s apartment and that a loud argument ensued. Reportedly, the situation subsequently escalated with the group of Syrian men attacking those present in the apartment, culminating in the 15-year-old boy being pushed to his death. At least three men, aged between 17 and 22, witnessed the attack and provided descriptions of the perpetrators to police.

While the attackers had fled the scene, Hamburg police were able to locate the group of Syrian migrants and the Iraqi woman based on the witness descriptions. After a brief manhunt, police found the suspects traveling in two taxis in Hamburg’s Hammerbrook district.

“The bad thing is that children are growing up in Hamburg (and not only there) who don’t know anything else about life – they will increasingly perceive such conditions as ‘normal,'” said Sven Wendorf, Member of the German Bundestag (parliament), in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The National Pulse previously reported in March that a vehicle attack left two dead and dozens injured in Mannheim, Germany. Meanwhile, late last year, five people were killed and over 200 injured when a Saudi migrant allegedly plowed a car through a crowd at a Magdeburg, Germany, Christmas market.

Florida AG Charges Attempted Trump Assassin Ryan Routh.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Charges filed in Florida against Ryan Routh for an alleged assassination attempt on President Donald J. Trump.

👥 Who’s Involved: Ryan Routh, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, President Donald J. Trump, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.

📍 Where & When: Assassination attempt at West Palm Beach golf course, Florida; charges announced on Thursday.

💬 Key Quote: Uthmeier highlighted Bondi’s role, stating she was “instrumental in preserving Florida’s sovereign authority to do what is right and bring justice where it is due.”

⚠️ Impact: Routh faces serious charges, including first-degree attempted murder and terrorism.

IN FULL:

Florida’s Attorney General, James Uthmeier, announced on Thursday that Ryan Routh is being charged in connection with his alleged assassination attempt on President Donald J. Trump. The charges come after difficulties were noted in prosecuting the case under the former Biden-Harris regime, according to Uthmeier. He acknowledged the efforts of U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi in maintaining Florida’s ability to bring the prosecution, indicating her role as crucial in the proceedings.

Ryan Routh has been charged with first-degree attempted murder and a terrorism offense. Law enforcement alleges that Routh had intentions to target Trump while he was at his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, during the 2024 election campaign.

This incident has led to attention on the security measures surrounding the President, especially in relation to his frequent visits to the golf course in West Palm Beach. Following Routh’s arrest, President Trump briefly halted his golfing activities but resumed them following his election victory last November.

Routh is also being charged with similar crimes on the federal level, with his trial yet to begin. Court documents revealed earlier his week showed that he attempted to source anti-aircraft missiles from Ukraine to target President Trump’s private aircraft.

Having served as an attempted recruiter of foreign mercenaries for Ukraine, Routh had deep ties to the Eastern European country and has visited it extensively, also having contacts with the Ukrainian military.

DOGE Finds Massive Unemployment Fraud with Alleged Babies and 115-Year-Olds Claiming Benefits.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has found an estimated $400 million in fraudulent unemployment payments, prompting the Department of Labor (DOL) to launch a recovery effort.

👥 Who’s Involved: DOGE, DOL, Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, and state unemployment offices.

📍 Where & When: The United States, April 9, 2025.

💬 Key Quote: “The Labor Department is committed to recovering Americans’ stolen tax dollars. We will catch these thieves and keep working to root out egregious fraud—accountability is here,” said Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer regarding the data exposing large-scale unemployment fraud.

⚠️ Impact: The DOGE data has spurred the DOL to launch an investigation and recovery effort regarding fraudulently claimed unemployment payments. If criminal negligence is found, this could significantly impact state unemployment offices that administer payments.

IN FULL:

The United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has found an estimated $400 million in fraudulent unemployment payments, with some recipients being either impossibly young or impossibly old. Now in possession of the DOGE data, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) says it is investigating the fraudulent claims and will recover the stolen money.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), DOGE unveiled their review of unemployment payments found that “24.5k people over 115 years old claimed $59M in benefits,” “28k people between 1 and 5 years old claimed $254M in benefits,” and “9.7k people with birth dates over 15 years in the future claimed $69M in benefits.”

Notably, the oldest living American is 114 years old, meaning there are certainly not nearly 25,000 people over 115. Also, U.S. employment laws bar child labor, meaning no American between the ages of one and five years old—as DOGE found—should be able to collect unemployment, nor should anyone not yet born, as with the “birth dates over 15 years in the future” cohort.

“This is another incredible discovery by the DOGE team, finding nearly $400 million in fraudulent unemployment payments,” United States Department of Labor (DOL) Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer said in a statement addressing the DOGE data. “The Labor Department is committed to recovering Americans’ stolen tax dollars. We will catch these thieves and keep working to root out egregious fraud—accountability is here.”

Allegations of wide-scale unemployment fraud have been suspected for decades at the state level. Several prior investigations into unemployment data point to state workers—either through incompetence or intentional negligence—allowing the scams to continue until their public exposure.

Leftist Govt Cancels Funding for Muslim Child Rape Gang Probes.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: Britain’s leftist government has scrapped millions for inquiries into child grooming gang inquiries.

👥 Who’s Involved: The Labour Party, the Home Office, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls Jess Phillips, Sir Trevor Phillips.

📍 Where & When: The announcement was made in London at the British parliament on April 8.

💬 Key Quote:  “[I]t’s so obvious that they’re not doing this because of the demographic of the people involved… largely Pakistani Muslim in background, and also in Labour-held seats and councils who would be offended by it,” – Sir Trevor Phillips.

⚠️ Impact: It is now unlikely the five towns and cities will be able to carry out a full inquiry into the extent of Muslim grooming gangs and their activity.

IN FULL:

Britain’s leftist Labour Party government has scrapped its promised plans to launch at least five local inquiries into the activities of predominantly Muslim, Pakistani-heritage child rape gangs in several cities. Many believe that the party scrapped them to avoid alienating Muslim voters ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.

The government has dropped the $6.4 million promised to support the five inquiries based upon a prior inquiry that took place in the city of Telford. Home Office Minister Jess Phillips attempted to defend the move, saying that the government was adopting a “flexible approach.”

Sir Trevor Phillips, former chairman of the government’s Equality and Human Rights Commission, said the decision was likely motivated by a desire to placate Muslim voters. “[I]t’s so obvious that they’re not doing this because of the demographic of the people involved… largely Pakistani Muslim in background, and also in Labour-held seats and councils who would be offended by it,” he said.

He added that the issue has become an “open goal” for those on the right as Labour has put barriers around issues like grooming gangs and talks very little about the issue.

Grooming gangs became a focal point earlier this year, with polling in January showing that nearly half the population of the country believes the media covered up the scandals due to political correctness. A report published that same month revealed that at least 96 child rape gang members remain at large.

The brutal treatment of the mostly white, working-class girls who were victimized by the gangs included being pimped to dozens or even hundreds of men, being made to take drugs like heroin, and torture.

Noem Confirms El Salvador Prison Ready to Accept More U.S. Deportees.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: The Trump administration says it will continue to collaborate with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele to deport and house dangerous illegal immigrants in his country’s CECOT super prison. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated on Tuesday that thousands more illegal immigrants may soon be sent to the facility.

👥 Who’s Involved: Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele, Supreme Court justices, and the Trump administration.

📍 Where & When: Phoenix, Arizona, on a Tuesday morning, following a federal immigration raid.

💬 Key Quote: “You’ll see us continuing to partner with El Salvador. CECOT has the capacity for 40,000 individuals, and [El Salvador President Nayib Bukele] has said they’ll take as many as we want to send,” said Kristi Noem.

⚠️ Impact: The Supreme Court earlier this week ended a lower court’s pause on deportations to El Salvador, potentially leading to increased use of the Central American country’s prisons for criminal migrants.

IN FULL:

In the wake of a federal immigration enforcement operation on Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is eyeing the relocation of substantial numbers of illegal immigrant criminal gang members to El Salvador’s CECOT prison. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem suggested, following the raid, that the CECOT facility can hold thousands more dangerous illegal immigrants and that the Trump administration is looking to ramp up expulsions under the Alien Enemies Act.

“You’ll see us continuing to partner with El Salvador. CECOT has the capacity for 40,000 individuals, and [El Salvador President Nayib Bukele] has said they’ll take as many as we want to send,” Noem said, adding: “There’s 14,000 there now.”

In addition, the DHS Secretary revealed that Bukele intends to build a second prison facility next to CECOT, which could be used to hold even more members of violent, illegal immigrant gangs like Tren de Aragua and MS-13.

President Donald J. Trump’s administration has used the 1798 Alien Enemies Act for expedited expulsions of illegal immigrants found to be members of Tren de Aragua, MS-13, and other violent criminal groups. Last month, a far-left U.S. District Court Judge temporarily halted the removals, prompting the Trump White House to file an emergency appeal with the Supreme Court. On Monday, the high court lifted the lower court’s restraining order, allowing Alien Enemies Act expulsions to resume.

Addressing the Supreme Court’s ruling and continued Democrat lawfare efforts against the Trump administration’s push to deport violent and dangerous illegal immigrants, Noem said: “We’re going to continue using that act in order to return people from these terrorist organizations to face consequences and be removed from our country.”

Meanwhile, the DHS Secretary also warned illegal immigrants that the Trump administration, later this week, will begin enforcing provisions of the Alien Registration Act of 1940. Under this law, foreign nationals who reside in the United States for more than 30 days must register with the federal government. Those failing to register will face severe financial penalties.

Trial of American Accused of Fatally Stabbing Migrant Who Assaulted Her Begins.

PULSE POINTS:

What Happened: A 20-year-old German-American woman is standing trial in Germany after she stabbed a 64-year-old Eritrean asylum seeker who groped her at a railway station in 2024.

👥 Who’s Involved: A 20-year-old German woman with U.S. citizenship, 64-year-old Eritrean asylum seeker Alem Tekeste, and German prosecutors.

📍 Where & When: A 2024 stabbing incident at a Kaiserslautern, Germany, railway station; a 2025 trial that began this week in Germany.

💬 Key Quote: At the time of the woman’s arrest, Elon Musk asked in a post on X (formerly Twitter): “What’s wrong with Germany?”

⚠️ Impact: If found guilty, the 20-year-old woman could face upwards of 10 years in prison.

IN FULL:

The trial of a 20-year-old German-American dual national accused of fatally stabbing a 64-year-old Eritrean asylum seeker after he groped her buttocks in a Kaiserslautern, Germany, railway station finally began this week. Prosecutors opened the trial alleging that the unnamed woman could have avoided killing the migrant during the incident last summer. The woman faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.

Attorneys representing the U.S. citizen contend that she merely wished to keep Tekeste at a distance and that the fatal stabbing was an act of self-defense. Conversely, German prosecutors claim that Tekeste had retreated after the knife was produced and that the woman proceeded to pursue him, escalating the confrontation before Tekeste reached for the woman’s knife, resulting in her stabbing him.

According to prosecutors, after Tekeste grabbed the woman on the escalator, she produced a knife, causing the 64-year-old Eritrean asylum seeker to retreat. However, they contend the woman then pursued Tekeste, which prompted him to grab hold of her arm that was brandishing the knife. Prosecutors claim that after a brief struggle, the woman was able to free herself and “stabbed once in the same motion,” striking Tekeste and killing him “within seconds.”

The woman is charged with inflicting bodily harm resulting in death, indicating that German authorities believe she merely intended to injure Tekeste and not kill him. In 2024, the woman’s arrest received social media attention when X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk—responding to a post arguing Germany was essentially holding the woman hostage—wrote: “What’s wrong with Germany?”
