The biggest migrant caravan in a year is currently marching on the United States, with between 6,000 and 10,000 would-be border crossers setting out from Tapachula, in southern Mexico, this past Sunday.
Reported to primarily hail from Cuba, Haiti, and Honduras, the migrants are accompanied and abetted by anti-borders activists such as Luis Garcia Villagran, quoted as saying the caravan could swell to 15,000 by the time it reaches the U.S. southern border, at its current pace, by spring 2024.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken is traveling to Mexico to meet President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Wednesday, where he will notionally plead for help in ameliorating the border crisis, which has seen crossings top 10,000 a day in recent weeks. He is being accompanied by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who has often appeared to be on the cusp of being impeached over the crisis. In November, he escaped impeachment in a 209-201 vote, with eight Republicans joining with the Democrats to refer the matter to committee.
“[B]order agents are more than willing to sacrifice holidays to protect our fellow Americans, but what we are doing is not enforcing our laws, because of bad policy, our government is allowing cartels to control our border,” lamented the National Border Patrol Council in a statement.

The Washington Post is pushing a bizarre new theory which argues national borders are, in fact, bad for national security. Catherine Rampell, a columnist with the Jeff Bezos-owned newspaper, deployed twisted logic to conclude Republican efforts to end America’s mass immigration crisis would actually make the situation worse.
“What does safeguarding national security have to do with curbing immigration?” she asks herself, before answering, incorrectly: “For the most part, not much. But they are related in the sense that the measures Republicans want would undermine U.S. security.”
According to the liberal-left columnist, limiting President Biden’s power to grant asylum and mass-parole to illegal immigrants “undermines U.S. security” since it would essentially revive Title 42 – a pandemic measure which required asylum seekers to remain in Mexico pending adjudication of their claims.
Rampell even disingenuously implies Title 42 is responsible for the increased chaos at the border, when in reality, it was the Biden government’s decision to allow the measure to expire which drove the throngs of foreigners to the border. She goes on to conflate U.S. national security with Joe Biden’s campaign promises, lamenting, “[a]greeing to these measures would violate Biden’s 2020 campaign promises to restore integrity and humanity to the asylum system — promises he has arguably already been reneging on.”

During a marathon appearance on War Room with Stephen K. Bannon this week, The National Pulse’s editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam hit on three topics which are likely to dominate national media through the New Year.
According to Kassam: the Democrats are dusting off their 2020 playbook in order to kick Donald Trump off the 2024 ballot; our national elites are propelled by arrogance – believing they’re smarter than those who came before them; and the unchecked border crisis will result in mass street protests against the Biden regime.
The Real 2020 Insurrection.
In late summer 2020, Kassam and Bill McGinley put together analysis of a strategy put forward by Democrat election-lawyer Marc Elias as well as Soros advisor Rosa Brooks. Their plans established a predicate for stealing the 2020 presidential election. The groups anticipated that Donald Trump would appear the overwhelming victor during initial election returns, but explained that the weeks-long counting of mail-in ballots would eventually put Joe Biden over the top.
As Kassam notes, various leftist groups like Act Blue provided material support for the actual insurrection – Antifa’s siege of the White House complex in late May and early June, as well as the routine Black Lives Matter violence in the run up to the 2020 election.
The Arrogance of Modernity.
Reflecting on the humility and wisdom of those who attended the townhall at the CowboyChurch in Casa Grande, Arizona on Wednesday night, Kassam noted our national political elites couldn’t appear more different. Instead of humility and a reverence for those who came before them, Kassam argues Democrats and the left believe they must prove they’re smarter than past generations.
“The people who were in the Cowboy Church in Casa Grande last night do not fancy themselves as smarter than this nation’s founders… the people who occupy the halls of power… start from a position that because several centuries have passed, therefore they must be smarter than the people who founded this nation,” Kassam said.
The Forthcoming Street Protests.
Finally, in an ominous prediction, Kassam told Bannon the continued unchecked flow of illegal immigrants into the United States under President Joe Biden’s watch will likely result in civil unrest. Referring to Americans, like those who attended the Cowboy Church town hall, Kassam said: “You feel in these peoples’ demeanor… they’re angry. And you feel that something will absolutely give way here, because these people I just don’t think are going to sit around and take it anymore.”
He noted the mass demonstrations which broke out in Germany against mass immigration when then-Chancellor Angela Merkel allowed 1.7 million migrants into her country. Kassam said the per-capita number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. had already surpassed the name which led to tens-of-thousands protesting in Germany.

Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is calling on Ed Bastion, CEO of Delta Air Lines, to appear before Congress in order to answer questions regarding his company’s involvement with the transportation of illegal immigrants from the U.S. border into the interior of the country.
“The United States Congress has an interest in understanding pursuant to which arrangements with federal agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) non-resident aliens are able to book and travel on Delta Air Lines flights,” Gaetz wrote.
The Florida lawmaker expressed concerns over to what degree the illegal immigrants had been vetted and screened on both national security and public health grounds. Specifically, Gaetz is asking Bastion to provide to Congress the number of illegal immigrants the airline has “transported on behalf of the government or non-governmental organizations since January 20, 2021” as well as if Delta has received any benefits, funding, or credit from the federal government in exchange for providing transport for illegal immigrants.
Additionally, he pressed Bastion as to details regarding the process for which NGOs purchase transportation for illegal immigrants using Delta flights and if the TSA has dictated to the company what sorts of identification are necessary for illegal immigrants to clear airport security.
“I’m concerned the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may be allowing non-resident aliens to board flights, including those operated by Delta Air Lines, with an alternative form of identification that meets a weaker standard than that used to verify the identities of American citizens when they fly,” Gaetz wrote.
U.S. airline passengers havereportedseeing lines illegal immigrants at airports in the Southwestern United States, many of whom appear to be boarding flights – ostensibly paid for by the Biden regime – to other U.S. cities despite lacking identification documents.
BREAKING: Congressman @mattgaetz has called for Delta CEO Ed Bastion to answer to Congress on the transportation of non-resident migrants
He’s calling for Delta to answer a few very simple questions:

German Mathews, 40, an illegal immigrant who has been deported from the U.S. five times, has been sentenced to 19 years in prison. He pleaded guilty in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court to charges of rape, felonious assault, and kidnapping. Mathews was found on top of the victim by police, who were responding to a 911 call. He attempted to flee the scene but was promptly arrested. The victim, a developmentally disabled woman, endured head injuries and multiple facial fractures.
Police Sgt. Jackie Dreyer described the attack as one of the most brutal crimes she has investigated during her over 20-year career. The assault occurred on April 29, while the victim was on her way to a bus stop in Forest Park. Lawyer James Bogen reported that Mathews, intoxicated from stolen liquor, has no memory of the incident and felt “possessed by a demon” at the time of the attack, as told to authorities.
Mathews, also known as Hernan Mateos, first entered the U.S. illegally in 2005 and has been arrested multiple times since then. His convictions include driving without a valid license, disorderly intoxication, sexual battery, and false imprisonment. After a criminal complaint in July 2017, Mathews admitted to illegally crossing the Rio Grande into Texas and was fined $10. Bogen indicated that Mathews repeatedly returned to the U.S. to escape poverty.

Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick hinted at removing Joe Biden from the Texas ballot “for allowing eight million people to cross the border” after the all-Democrat Colorado Supreme Court removed Donald Trump from their state primary ballot for “insurrection”.
“Seeing what happened in Colorado makes me think – except we believe in democracy in Texas – maybe we should take Joe Biden off the ballot in Texas for allowing eight million people to cross the border since he’s been President, disrupting our state,” Patrick quipped.
The Colorado Supreme Court justified its ruling against Trump, in a case brought by plaintiffs supported by a George Soros-funded organization, on the basis that the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution bars anyone involved in “insurrection” or “rebellion” from high office. Despite the Colorado justices ruling 4-3 that the 45th President was culpable for Jan 6, however, he has not been convicted of any crimes related to insurrection or rebellion.
Lt. Gov. Patrick has also been taking a stand against anti-America First actors within his own state party, warning Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, who facilitated the failed impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton, that his non-compliance with an audit of the sham investigation could result in prison time.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is reporting a record-breaking number of border crossings, with at least 12,600 migrants breaking into the country on Monday alone. The crisis is particularly acute in Eagle Pass, Texas, where an estimated 4,000 migrants broke through.
Border officials and reporters with long experience of the frontier said they have “never seen anything like this,” sharing footage of huge crowds of migrants awaiting processing, as hundreds more continued to wade across the Rio Grande.
BREAKING: Video from a contact on the ground in Eagle Pass, TX right now shows a mass of thousands of migrants waiting to be processed by Border Patrol after they crossed illegally today. I’ve spent hundreds of days there over the last 2+ years and I’ve never seen it like this. pic.twitter.com/JPNYY7sPxI
The crisis is so bad the CBP has taken the extraordinary step of shutting two major railway crossings at Eagle Pass and El Paso, another migrant hotspot, as many illegals have been riding railway cars to the border.
The move could deliver a significant blow to Joe Biden’s faltering economy, with Union Pacific complaining that “45 percent of all rail cars moving to and from Mexico cross through El Paso and Eagle Pass” and begging the government to reopen the crossings.
Here’s another shot from overnight in Eagle Pass where thousands of unauthorized immigrants sat by the border waiting to be bused to the processing tent, which has room inside for 1,000 but has 3,000 on site… thus the delay moving people out of here #BorderCrisis@dcexaminerpic.twitter.com/mEefZ045d7
The surge comes as Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed a new law making it a statecrime to cross the border illegally, stating President Biden has dismantled the strong immigration policies implemented by Donald Trump and left Texas to “fend for itself”.
Whether or not the new law can be effectively implemented and serve as a deterrent remains to be seen, as Democrat-led El Paso County, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and the Texas Civil Rights Project have already sued to try and overturn it.

Texas Congressman Tony Gonzalez estimated an even higher number of total crossings than the CBP on Tuesday morning, saying over 14,000 migrants had crossed the border illegally – “the HIGHEST in U.S. history.”
He predicted Christmas Day will be even worse, lamenting: “President Biden has abandoned border communities like mine.”

Former First Lady Melania Trump delivered a speech at a naturalization ceremony at the National Archives in Washington D.C. on Friday. A naturalized citizen herself, Mrs. Trump told newly-minted Americans the process they had been through was “arduous” but worthwhile. She also stressed that citizenship entailed service to the nation and its ideals.
“I was born and raised in the picturesque country of Slovenia, where my parents taught me the importance of a strong work ethic and pursuing my dreams,” she recalled.
“Upon my arrival [in New York] I immediately knew I wanted to make the United States my permanent home,” she continued, recalling the “labyrinth” of paperwork she encountered. “While challenges were numerous, the rewards were well worth the effort,” she added.
“Becoming an American citizen comes with responsibilities. It means actively participating in the democratic process and guarding our freedom. It also means leading by example and contributing to our society,” she said. “It is a life-altering experience that takes time, determination, and sometimes even tremendous strength.”
“You are now a part of a nation with a rich history of progress, innovation, and resilience… Be proud of yourselves, stand your ground, and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead,” Mrs Trump concluded.
“You are American. Be a beacon of inspiration for your children, and those who follow in your footsteps. May your journey continue to be filled with endless possibilities, and may your contributions enrich the fabric of this great nation.”

Encounters at the U.S. southern border once again surpassed 10,000 in a single day on Tuesday, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sources. Despite being lower than the record-breaking 12,000 in one day last week, the numbers continue to strain Border Patrol agents. The Tucson and Del Rio sectors reported encountering 3,000 and 2,700 migrants, respectively, each surpassing their capacities by over 200%. Agents have also been met with groups of more than 100 migrants at various locations, indicating an ongoing trend orchestrated by Transnational Criminal Organizations, a CBP agent suggested.
Lawmakers have been briefed on the daily release of 5,000 illegal immigrants into the U.S., to be added to the 1,600 migrants who are processed and released through humanitarian parole each day. Migrants arriving at ports of entry have reportedly come from over 150 countries. A notable increase was observed on Tuesday, with more than 190 Chinese nationals encountered in the San Diego sector, and over 120 nationals from Guinea encountered in the Tucson sector.
The surge in people crossing the border comes after a record year with more than 2.4 million encounters and high figures in September and October. The unseasonal upsurge continues against the trend of a drop during the winter months. As this is happening, lawmakers are debating the White House’s funding request for border measures, alongside aid for Ukraine and Israel. This new request includes $14 billion for border funding, covering migrant care, expedited removal costs, and support for overwhelmed cities.

Far-left Mayor of Chicago Brandon Johnson has filed 55 lawsuits against what he calls “rogue” bus companies transporting illegal migrants from the southern border to the city.
The suits impact 77 buses accused of violating rules brought in by Mayor Johnson in mid-November about where and when coaches can arrive. Mayor Johnson’s new rules allow for just two buses carrying migrants to arrive every hour, and state that buses can only arrive between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The rules also require buses to ask for official approval to transport migrants. The city’s Department of Transportation has yet to receive any applications, however.
Chicago, however, “continues to welcome asylum-seekers but the city cannot safely and efficiently shelter migrants when bus companies, contracted by the State of Texas, flagrantly violate all safety measures that the city has put in place,” asserts Cassio Mendoza, a spokesman for Johnson.
Nearly 25,000 illegal migrants have arrived in Chicago since August 2022. City officials have been forced to build a winterized “base camp” for migrants living on the streets as well as clandestine facilities to hide the recent influx from local residents.
