New York Governor Deploys National Guard… To Help Migrants File Paperwork.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the deployment of an additional 150 National Guardsmen amid a worsening migrant crisis in the Empire State – but they will be responsible for helping Venezuelans apply for federal employment authorization, not protecting the border.

“It is critical that we help secure work authorization for asylum seekers and migrants in New York,” the Governor insisted. “We need to ensure individuals can navigate the paperwork necessary to get them established here so they can work and start making their American Dream a reality.”

The 150-strong deployment supplements the roughly 2,000 National Guard personnel already assigned to the migrant crisis. Guardsmen have had to be deployed to 51 hotels and two New York City Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Centers so far.

The new deployment follows Joe Biden’s recent decision to extend temporary protected status to around 475,000 Venezuelan migrants who entered the United States before July 31st, which will allow them to legally work in the country – likely incentivizing further illegal immigration.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, whose jurisdiction has been hit especially hard by the crisis, has called for increased state and federal funding and resources, estimating the cost of caring for migrants will surpass $12 billion within two years.

11,000 Illegals Crossed U.S. Border In Last 24 Hours Alone.

The U.S. border was overrun by 11,000 illegal immigrants over the past 24 hours according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The surge in crossings over the last day is the highest in recent memory.

Late last Friday, the CBP announced that 7.6 million illegal immigrants have entered the country since President Biden took office in January of 2021. Nearly 20 million illegals now reside in the U.S., costing taxpayers $150.6 billion per year – a $35 billion increase from 2017’s $116 billion estimate.

The surge in border crossings continues, unabated, despite the Biden White House insisting the their immigration plan is working and stymieing the flow of illegal immigrants. Biden has declared the U.S. southern border is “safe, orderly, and humane.” Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security, has repeatedly insisted “the border is secure” when confronted by Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has avoided questions about the record breaking number of illegal aliens cross the U.S. southern border.

The National Pulse has previously reported an estimated 100,000 illegal immigrants are released into the U.S. every month by Biden’s Department of Homeland Security. Andrew Arthur, a former U.S. immigration judge, believes the Biden government has withheld important data from the American people in an effort “to hide the fact that it is releasing more than 100,000 aliens per month.” Given the recent spike in illegal crossings, however, the number of illegals released may be much higher.

Biden Govt Quietly Publishes Record Breaking Monthly Illegal Entry Figures on Friday Evening.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has reported a record-breaking number of unauthorized migrants entering the country in August, with a whopping 304,162 illegally entering the country last month, surpassing the previous monthly record and marking an increase of over 36 percent compared to July. Border Patrol agents apprehended around 181,000 illegals at the southern border, while official ports of entry encountered 121,781. More than 50,000 individuals arrived at airports and seaports, bypassing the southern border and dispersing deeper into the United States.

The numbers represent a massive increase on previous years, but an even starker FIVE TIMES increase since 2020.

Central Americans accounted for a significant portion of the illegal migrants, with nearly 80,000 individuals from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala detected. Additionally, over 37,000 Venezuelans were encountered by Customs and Border Protection agents and officers.

The surge – which has occurred at Biden’s insistence – is less poor policy making and more intentional behavior from Democrats in government.

Illegal Migrant Bludgeoned American to Death Just Months After Release by Biden Govt.

An illegal migrant from Peru has been charged with murder in Eagle Pass, Texas, after a 40-year-old man from Houston, was found bludgeoned to death in the backyard of his home, according to the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office.

Roberto Emilio Vasquez-Santamaria, 64, was arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred on Monday. Vasquez-Santamaria had been released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after illegally crossing the southern border in May to a non-government shelter in Eagle Pass after providing a written promise to appear for court proceedings, according to several news outlets.

The location where the victim was discovered is connected to previous migrant smuggling incidents, although a motive for the murder has not yet been determined, according to anonymous law enforcement officials.

The Department of Homeland Security has faced criticism recently regarding its ability to effectively track migrants who are released into the United States. Official data shows that U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers have encountered nearly 2 million illegal migrants so far this year.

Hotels for UK Boat Migrants Now Cost $10 Million a Day.

The cost of hosting asylum seekers, at taxpayer expense, in hotels across the United Kingdom is now around £8 million (~$10 million) per day, with waves of illegals being ferried to England from safe European Union (EU) countries.

The Home Office revealed the figure in its annual accounts, which shows a rise of millions of pounds per day compared to just last year, when it was already considered remarkably high.

Migrant boat crossings in the English Channel were first declared a “major incident” in 2018, but a series of promises to stop them using new Brexit powers — by turning boats back, or by transferring migrants to Rwanda — have all gone undelivered, with crossings increasing from hundreds to thousands to tens of thousands year on year.

While politicians and the media have focused much of the nation’s attention on the cost of hosting boat migrants in hotels, as well as a failing effort to lodge a handful on a barge (which they would still be free to leave at will), the true cost of accommodating them is far higher than the headline figure of £8 million a day.

Tens of thousands have been allocated so-called “dispersal accommodation” – mostly apartments and houses – at a cost of well over half a billion pounds a year.

strength of hijab

England’s Second City ‘Unveils’ 16-Foot, ‘Strength of Hijab’ Statue.

England’s second-largest city is erecting a 16-foot tall statue weighing a metric ton and depicting a woman in a hijab, in celebration of Islamic veils that are often compulsory in Muslim-majority states.

“The Strength of the Hijab is a piece which represents women who wear hijabs of the Islamic faith, and it’s really there because it’s such an underrepresented part of our community, but such an important one,” said sculptor Luke Perry, a white, non-Muslim man.

“They need visibility, it’s so important,” he added.

The sculpture shows a grim-faced, strangely geometric, and mostly disembodied woman wrapped in a headscarf, perched upon a plinth reading: “It is a woman’s right to be loved and respected whatever she chooses to wear.”

It has drawn criticism online because wearing the hijab, or more restrictive face veils such as the niqab and burqa, as often not a choice in Islamic countries, with women facing arrest for wearing hijabs improperly or not at all, or vigilante attacks by Muslim men throwing acid in their faces.

While the BBC and other establishment media outlets have avoided disclosing the cost of the piece, local reports say an estimated £25,000 (~$31,000) was spent on it. Legacy West Midlands, which commissioned the sculpture, is a registered “charity” that receives much of its funding from the state, including around £130,000 (~$160,000) in government grants and contracts over the last three years.

Birmingham is one of several English cities where the white British population is now in a minority, along with the capital of London, Manchester, and Leicester.

Democrat Gov. Healy Deploys Military Amid Migrant ‘Emergency’.

Massachusetts Democratic Governor Maura Healey has deployed the state’s national guard servicemen in an effort to deal with the growing number of migrants demanding shelter in the Bay State.

Around 250 service members were deployed on Wednesday to over 40 emergency shelters housing more than 6,000 migrant families to coordinate food, water, medical care, transportation, and assisting children to enroll in local schools. The deployment will last a minimum of six months, with a spokesman for Healey stating, “this is a rapidly evolving situation that will continue to be assessed.”

“Massachusetts is in a state of emergency, and we need all hands-on deck to meet this moment and ensure families have access to safe shelter and basic services,” explained Governor Healey in a recent statement.

Massachusetts is the only state across the country required by law to provide shelter to homeless families following the state’s 1983 “right-to-shelter” law. Over 80 cities and towns in the Bay State have state-funded emergency shelters.

The recent surge in migration has similarly impacted New York City, with Mayor Eric Adams – who previously boasted of the Big Apple’s “sanctuary city” status – claiming that the recent influx of over 100,000 illegal migrants would “destroy” the city.

Immigrant Population Surges to 46 Million Under Biden.

U.S. Census Bureau statistics show the immigrant population in the United States now stands at some 46 million, having increased dramatically since Joe Biden replaced Donald Trump as President.

“The foreign-born population zoomed up,” said Brookings Institution demographer William Frey of the figures, noting that the “gain in 2022 was as big as the previous four years put together.”

The rise has been driven not just by a surge in illegal immigration, which the Biden regime has failed to control, but by the government going out of its way to import thousands of migrants from countries such as Afghanistan, as well as ramping up regular immigration.

Donald Trump has pledged to implement “a merit-based immigration system that protects American labor and promotes American values” if returned to the White House, and reimplement anti-illegal immigration policies such as ‘Remain in Mexico’ and a ban on ‘catch and release’.

He has also vowed more robust action at the southern border, vowing to not just finish the wall but take military action against the cartels and impose the death penalty on human traffickers.

Migrants Released Into Streets in Arizona as Facilities Overwhelmed.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is releasing illegal aliens into the streets in Cochise County, Arizona, due to its processing and holding facilities being overwhelmed by the surge of migrants Joe Biden is allowing to cross the Mexican border.

“Today’s announcement that CBP will begin migrant street releases into Cochise County is just another reflection of the fracture within the [Department of Homeland Security] infrastructure regarding the security of our southern border,” complained Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels in a social media post warning residents of the releases.

“These releases are a direct result of over-capacity by CBP which is forcing these migrant releases into our communities,” he continued, noting that the migrants were bussed into his county from elsewhere to be dumped on it.

Within hours of this post, Sheriff Dannels reported two separate people-smuggler interdictions, catching one transporting a group of five migrants, including a 12-year-old boy, and another transporting 12 migrants.

The CBP insists it is “working according to plan” in accordance with “immigration enforcement proceedings consistent with our laws.”

41% Percent of New Yorkers Now Want Trump’s Border Wall.

The number of New Yorkers who want to complete Donald Trump’s southern border wall has risen to 41 percent as a migrant crisis grips the Empire State, with over 110,000 illegal aliens having flooded New York City alone.

The percentage of New Yorkers who now favor a border wall is almost as high in New York City as it is across the state, at 38 percent, despite its large immigrant and immigrant-descended population. Over a third of Latinos in the city support a wall, at 35 percent.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams has said the migrant crisis represents an unprecedented threat: “Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don’t see an ending to this,” he said, warning that the influx “will destroy” the metropolis if it continues.

Previously, when the migrant crisis was mostly far away in conservative border states, Adams had championed the Big Apple as a “sanctuary city,” and cheered on Joe Biden when he halted border wall construction in 2021.
