Former President Donald Trump has come out against the Senate Ukraine/Border supplemental funding bill, slamming the deal as “a Death Wish for The Republican Party.” In a post on Truth Social on Monday morning, the former Republican President said, “Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this horrendous Border Bill.”
“It takes the HORRIBLE JOB the Democrats have done on Immigration and the Border, absolves them, and puts it all squarely on the shoulders of Republicans,” Trump posted, adding: “Don’t be STUPID!!! We need a separate Border and Immigration Bill. It should not be tied to foreign aid in any way, shape, or form! The Democrats broke Immigration and the Border. They should fix it.”
Late Sunday night, Senate leaders unveiled their Ukraine aid and U.S. border security supplemental funding bill negotiated by Sens. Sinema (I-AZ), Murray (D-WA), Lankford (R-OK), and Tillis (R-NC). Over the past several weeks, the Republican negotiators — Lankford and Tillis — have come under increasing criticism from their Republican Senate colleagues over provisions in the legislation that would limit the President’s power to shut down the border by proclamation. Opponents also point to the expansion of work visas and other programs in the legislation as indicative of it being an immigrant labor bill and not border security legislation.
The leadership-backed legislation must gain 60 votes in the Senate to overcome a filibuster. With former President Trump joining the opposition to the Senate deal, Sens. Schumer (D-NY) and McConnell (R-KY) may find it increasingly difficult to whip those 60 votes.
Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT), who heads up the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), has already come out against the funding supplemental. Daines, widely viewed as a moderate on immigration, has supported the expansion of visa and guest worker programs in the past.

The “bipartisan” Senate border bill has been released. It includes whopping amounts of funding for Ukraine ($60bn+), Israel ($14bn+), and billions for “humanitarian assistance” around the world. Little, however, is delivered for actual U.S. border security in the $120bn+ bill, which also includes much in the way of assisting moremigrants into the United States.
The bill appears to “provide work authorization for an individual who is determined to be a child,” as well as lowering the restrictions in place for the hiring of new border enforcement agents and asylum processors. The bill would, for instance, remove polygraph screening for new candidates, as well as pay asylum handlers 15 percent extra.
In addition to helping fund Ukraine’s private sector and police force, the bill also limits for how long the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security may declare a border emergency, granting the President authority to end said emergency declaration. Additionally, the bill would grant automatic work authorizations for foreign fiancées, spouses, or children of either U.S. citizens or H-1B visa holders, which is likely to cause a further explosion in migration numbers.
The bill also authorizes a further 250,000 immigrant visas for the next five fiscal years.
The 370-page document will now be scrutinized by lawmakers with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer hinting at a Wednesday vote. A summary of the bill follows.

America is seeing a surge in syphilis, including a sharp rise among women. U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) figures for 2022 show a 19.5 increase percent in female syphilis cases, accounting for around a quarter of cases overall — up from less than 15 percent five years ago.
The rise in syphilis among women has been accompanied by an increase in congenital syphilis — cases among babies who contract the disease from their mothers in the womb. Overall, syphilis cases are up by a remarkable 78.9 percent since 2018, but congenital syphilis cases have risen by an even more astonishing 183.4 percent.
“We know that syphilis in the heterosexual population and drug use, particularly methamphetamine use, are intersecting epidemics,” said Dr. Jonathan Mermin, director of the CDC’s National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention.
Methamphetamine, or meth, is one of several dangerous drugs trafficked across America’s porous southern in large quantities, with officials intercepting a 63.8-pound shipment at Ysleta earlier this month.
Last year, Letitia Bligh, a CDC health communications specialist, admitted the CDC “does not track diseases by immigration status.” While migrants are supposed to be screened for diseases like syphilis, doctors doubt this is happening at scale.
“They are not being tested for COVID as they come across, much less for syphilis,” commented one veteran physician.
Donald Trump has warned the border crisis is “poisoning the blood” of the country, as people are “coming in with disease, people are coming in with every possible thing that you can have.”
Border sheriffs echo this view, saying they have encountered migrants with “all types of diseases like tuberculosis, scabies, COVID, hepatitis A and B, gonorrhea, syphilis, mumps, chicken pox, dengue fever, etc.”
Syphilis remains most prevalent among Native Americans and black Americans and predominantly affects homosexuals.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized 483 pounds of fentanyl last week from a bus being driven across the southern border by two Mexican drivers, along with $11,010 in cash.
The bus, which was en route to Los Angeles, California, was intercepted at the Dennis DeConcini port of entry in Nogales, Arizona, and the drugs were found in a rear wheel well by a sniffer dog. The cash was discovered stuffed in a plastic bag hidden under the dashboard.
Driver Martin Valencia Dessens denied all knowledge of the drugs and the cash to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), but agents noted he “did not seem surprised” when he was told the contraband had been found on his bus. Just two milligrams of fentanyl can kill an adult — the amount seized was enough to kill over 100 million people.
Dessens and relief driver Luis Eduardo Virgen Pena claimed they had been in Las Vegas before heading to Mexican Nogales and staying overnight, beginning their aborted trip to Los Angeles on January 27th. Pena is said to have received several alerts on his cellphone while in custody, possibly from a person or persons awaiting the bus’s arrival.
The pair have been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl and are due in court on February 5th.
Donald Trump believes illegal immigration and drug trafficking under Joe Biden are “poisoning the blood” of the United States, with enough fentanyl to kill every American citizen having been seized by the authorities in 2023.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested 171 illegal aliens convicted of crimes including first-degree murder and child rape in an operation running from January 16th to January 28th.
The agency did not name the migrants, arrested in locations from El Paso, Texas, to Tacoma, Washington, but identified several high-profile offenders by age and nationality. These included a Mexican convicted of murder and two Salvadorans convicted of felony child molestation, rape of a child, possession of child pornography, and other crimes.
“The results of this weeklong effort are a testament to [ICE officials’] commitment to protecting the homeland through the arrest and removal of those who undermine the safety of U.S. communities and the integrity of U.S. immigration laws,” said Patrick J. Lechleitner, the agency’s Deputy Director.
ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers arrested 73,822 criminal aliens charged and convicted with 290,178 crimes over the last fiscal year. These included 1,713 charges or convictions for homicide, 4,390 for sex and sexual assaults, and 1,655 for kidnappings.
Last week, however, ICE officials held a meeting with the Detention Watch Network, which is campaigning to abolish immigration detention altogether.
The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) has estimated a 57 percent drop in arrests of criminal illegals under Joe Biden and a 67 percent drop in criminal illegals being deported.

Last week, senior officials from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency held discussions with an activist group, the Detention Watch Network, which aims to abolish immigration detention in the United States. According to an ICE statement, this meeting — attended by three other left-leaning organizations — was part of a stakeholder gathering.
The meeting took place amidst the ongoing crisis at the southern border, which is seeing an unprecedented number of illegal border crossings. According to law enforcement, they have encountered over 5.5 million illegal aliens since President Joe Biden took office, with most of them being released into the country.
The Detention Watch Network is a leading force in attempts to ‘Abolish ICE.’ The federal agency claims the meeting aimed to create open communication lines with stakeholders regarding its operations. The Detention Watch Network has expanded beyond its activism and doled out hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to like-minded grassroots movements since 2022.
Immigrant deportations have seen a considerable drop since Biden assumed office. The Center for Immigration Studies estimates there’s been a 67 percent decrease in criminal aliens’ deportations and a 57 percent reduction in criminal illegal aliens’ arrests in comparison with the Trump era. Furthermore, there’s been a 26 percent decrease in sexual assault convicts’ deportations and a 17 percent drop in deportations for homicides.
The U.S. Senate has been engaged in protracted negotiations for a bipartisan deal projected to alleviate the southern border’s strain. However, the scant details that have become public have drawn ire from conservatives who point out that the presumed provisions do little to address the surge in illegal immigration into the United States.

The Ukraine and U.S. Border supplemental funding deal — widely reported by the corporate media as ‘imminent’ — doesn’t really exist. Instead, the few details appearing in the media have come in the form of leaks from Senators regarding what has been alluded to in meetings with their colleagues and the review of draft text that only exists on disparate word documents controlled by the negotiators.
What has been made public over the past several weeks has caused a great deal of concern and consternation among rank-and-file Senate Republicans as well as voters across the country. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden has continued to allow the illegal immigrantinvasion at the southern border to continue unabated.
Despite negotiators insinuating a bill existed as early as January 13th, Democrat and Republican Senate leadership have yet to produce any actual legislative text for their colleagues to review. Over two weeks ago, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) posted on X:
I encourage people to read the border security bill before they judge the border security bill. I also advise people not to believe everything you read on the internet….
While Lankford’s post would make sense if legislative text existed, the fact is there was no text for Senators to review on January 13th — and that remains the case today. The plea from the Oklahoma Republican harkened back to an infamous moment during the Obamacare debate when former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”
During a Senate Republican Conference meeting last week, The National Pulse was told that Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) lashed out at his Republican Senate colleagues, calling their attacks on the deal “disingenuous.” He argued the only reason his colleagues wanted to see draft text was so they could use it to attack the negotiations. Senators were left dumbfounded by Sen. Tillis’s claims — which further confirmed to opponents that they were being sold a bad deal by leadership.
As to the accusation that opponents of the ‘supposed’ agreement are peddling “lies,” at least one Senator confronted leadership aides who conceded that the provisions reported by Fox News on January 13th were a part of the deal. They did, however, insist other — unreported — provisions were a ‘win’ for conservatives but refused to share those with the Senate Republican Conference.
About Those ‘Other’ Provisions
Since January 13th, more details regarding the Border Deal component of the Senate funding supplemental have trickled out. What was supposed to be legislation addressing border security to curb the ongoing illegal immigrationcrisis at the U.S. southern border is instead a jobs program that will benefit major donors to both parties — especially those on Wall Street.
The deal sets in place a baseline number of illegal immigrants who can — in essence — cross into the U.S. each week before triggering a shutdown of the border. While some corporate news outlets have claimed these border crossers would not be released into the U.S., the lax asylum claim provisions indicate that in reality most will not be sent home. Instead, it appears these individuals will receive some form of work permit and be allowed to remain in the U.S. and fed into a system of cheap, immigrant labor.
It is believed that the deal does little to nothing to curb President Joe Biden’s legally dubious use of parole powers – granting what is essentially blanket amnesty to large swaths of immigrants who cross the border illegally. The Biden parole policy has received praise from numerous business interests and pro-open borders political organizations like the CATO Institute.
The President Can Already Shut Down The Border And The ‘Deal’ Could Undermine That
The most concerning provision believed to be in the Senate border deal is the so-called ‘border shutdown trigger.’ It has been widely reported the agreement negotiated by Sen. Lankford contains a provision that supposedly shuts down the U.S. border if encounters reach an average of 5,000 per day over a week or if they reach 8,500 in a single day. Once that threshold is reached, it appears the President’s authority to close the border under section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) would take effect.
Section 212(f) gives the President broad authority to limit access to the United States for certain immigrant groups or all immigrants if it is deemed “detrimental to the interests of the United States.” This authority was used on several occasions by former President Donald Trump and has been upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court after multiple challenges.
Under the Senate border deal, however, several Senators told The National Pulse that it appears the border shutdown provisions would either alter 212(f) presidential authority or would provide federal courts with the grounds to roll back the shutdown power. The changes would in effect limit future presidential power to close the border — a fact that is conspicuously absent from the talking points being pushed by Senate leaders.
Republican opponents of the so-called border deal have consistentlypointedout that President Biden already has the authority to close the border under 212(f) should he so choose.
Is It Even A Deal If Most Congressional Republicans Oppose It?
Earlier this week, Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) admitted it will be likely several more days — probably early next week — before any actual legislative text on the Ukraine and U.S. Border supplemental funding bill is ready for review. Despite no bill yet existing, Senate leaders on both sides of the aisle continue to insist Senators fall in line and support the effort.
Yesterday, however, a resolution in the Republican Conference presented by Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) overwhelmingly passed among his colleagues which demands Senators be given two to three weeks to review and debate the bill. The National Pulse is told by a source present at the Conference meeting that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) voted against the measure. Without the backing of leadership, it remains likely that Senators Schumer and McConnell will attempt to hastily move the bill through the Senate.
If the supplemental funding bill were to pass — a prospect that is not certain at the moment — it would face fierce opposition in the House. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has repeatedly said the bill is “dead on arrival” in the House of Representatives.

Trump’s strongest lead over Biden is in North Carolina, where he is ten points clear of the 81-year-old Democrat. He also holds strong eight-point leads over Biden in Nevada and Georgia, five-point leads in Wisconsin and Michigan, and three-point leads in Pennsylvania and Arizona.
Previous polling found Trump ahead of Biden by two points nationally, with a 12-point advantage among Independents. The new results suggest Biden is not improving his position.
The Democrat’s mismanagement of the southern border crisis appears to be particularly damaging for him, with six in ten respondents holding him responsible for the situation.
On Tuesday, House Republicans approved articles of impeachment against Biden’s Cuba-born Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, for failure to comply with the law and breach of public trust.

Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador says the Gem State is being “held hostage” by the Joe Biden regime’s failure to secure the border, with drug trafficking, in particular, having a deadly impact on Americans even in the Pacific Northwest.
”The last three years of the Biden Administration have been an absolute windfall to human traffickers, modern-day sex slavery, drug cartels, and foreign terrorist groups exploiting the lack of enforcement and flooding across our southern border,” said AG Labrador.
He stressed that “[e]very state, including Idaho, feels the impact from this lack of border enforcement,” noting that fentanyl deaths in his state tripled in 2021 and then doubled in 2022.
Overdose death estimates for 2023 are not yet available. Still, early indications are not good, with the state seizing tens of thousands of fentanyl pills from drug dealers, many with ties to Mexico.
“We are being held hostage to the Administration’s inaction,” Labrador complained.
Idaho Governor Brad Little has announced he is sending state troopers to assist Texas, which is currently locked in a fierce dispute with the federal government over border enforcement, to help secure the frontier.
“There’s a direct tie between the loose southern border and the flood of deadly illegal drugs like fentanyl coming into Idaho communities. These drugs are taking the lives of our loved ones, family members, friends and neighbors,” Little said.
Donald Trump has also warned the border crisis is “poisoning the blood” of the country by facilitating the spread of drugs and disease.

Britain’s Office for National Statistics (ONS) has revealed its population projections for 2036, predicting an increase from an estimated 67 million residents in mid-2021 to 73.7 million residents, driven overwhelmingly by mass migration.
The ONS projects 13.7 million long-term migrants will arrive in Britain over the period — equivalent to the combined population of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, including their existing migrant populations, plus an additional three million people.
The government office projects 7.6 million people will emigrate from Britain over the same period, for a net influx of 6.1 million – still far in excess of the population of Scotland, which is currently estimated at 5.5 million.
Immigration, therefore, accounts for the lion’s share of the expected increase in population. Births over deaths, including the children of migrants, are expected to add only 541,000 people to the population.
The “Conservative” Party, which has been in office since 2010, pledged to reduce net immigration “from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands” in three consecutive election campaigns. They never came close to achieving this, and the pledge was downgraded to a vaguer commitment to reduce immigration “overall” under Boris Johnson in 2019.
In fact, net immigration increased to 745,000 in 2022, far above the 184,000 arrivals in 2019.
Over the 15 years between mid-2021 and mid-2036, the UK population is projected to grow by 6.6 million people.
