Judge Frees Illegal Immigrant Who Worked as Police Officer.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: An illegal immigrant working as a police officer in Illinois was released from federal detention after being granted a $2,500 immigration bond.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Radule Bojovic, a 25-year-old illegal immigrant from Montenegro, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, and Democrat Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s administration.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Bojovic was arrested in Illinois last month, with his deportation case ongoing.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Radule Bojovic violated our nation’s laws and was living ILLEGALLY in the United States for 10 years—what kind of police department gives criminal illegal aliens badges and guns?” – Tricia McLaughlin, DHS Assistant Secretary.

🎯IMPACT: The case raises questions about sanctuary policies and their implications for law enforcement and public safety.

IN FULL

Illegal immigrant Radule Bojovic, who was working as a police officer in Illinois, was released from federal detention last month after an immigration judge granted him a $2,500 bond. Bojovic, a 25-year-old from Montenegro, had overstayed a B2 tourist visa that required him to leave the United States on March 31, 2015, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Despite his immigration status, Bojovic worked as a police officer with the Hanover Park Police Department. During his arrest, he stated that he was authorized to carry a firearm while on duty and claimed to have a permit to work in the United States. The Hanover Police Department claims that Bojovic had presented a valid Work Authorization Card issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) at the time of his hire.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin criticized the state’s sanctuary policies, saying, “Governor J.B. Pritzker doesn’t just allow violent illegal aliens to terrorize Illinois’s communities, he allows illegal aliens to work as sworn police officers.” She added, “Radule Bojovic violated our nation’s laws and was living ILLEGALLY in the United States for 10 years — what kind of police department gives criminal illegal aliens badges and guns? It’s a felony for aliens to even possess a firearm.”

Bojovic was approved by the Pension Fund Board of Trustees in January 2025, with a starting salary of $78,955.70. His 2025 earnings totaled $205,707, including FICA/Medicare taxes. The Hanover Police Department defended its decision to hire him, citing background checks conducted with the Illinois State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as well as a memorandum from the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) confirming his ability to carry a firearm while on duty.

The Trump administration recently launched “Operation Midway Blitz” to address illegal immigration in Illinois. Federal agents have faced resistance, including threats from anti-ICE agitators and cartels. Over the weekend, Border Patrol agents were shot at while conducting raids in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood, though the shooter remains unidentified.

Germany to Start Deporting Syrians Now Civil War Is Over.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Germany has announced plans to deport Syrian migrants, citing the end of the civil war in Syria.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, and Syrian migrants.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Germany, following the conclusion of the Syrian civil war in December 2024.

💬KEY QUOTE: “There are now absolutely no grounds for asylum in Germany, and therefore we can begin deportations.” – Friedrich Merz

🎯IMPACT: The policy could lead to mass deportations.

IN FULL

Germany is set to begin deporting Syrian migrants following the end of the Syrian civil war. Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that the government now considers Syria safe for return, saying, “The civil war in Syria is over. There are now absolutely no grounds for asylum in Germany, and therefore we can begin deportations.” He explained that Berlin would first promote voluntary repatriation, potentially with financial incentives, but warned, “Those who then refuse to return from Germany, we can, of course, deport them in the near future.”

The decision follows the conclusion of Syria’s long-running conflict in December 2024, when Bashar al-Assad was deposed after more than fifty years of family rule. A ten-day offensive brought to power Ahmed al-Sharaa, a former al-Qaeda terrorist. His rise marked the formal end of hostilities and the beginning of a fragile transitional government. Chancellor Merz cited the political change as justification for ending asylum protections granted during the war.

Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul acknowledged, however, that returning refugees could face serious challenges rebuilding their lives. He cautioned that it would be “difficult to restore a life of dignity there,” pointing to widespread damage to infrastructure and persistent shortages of housing, electricity, and healthcare.

Germany currently hosts one of the world’s largest Syrian diasporas. Reports estimate that roughly one in twenty Syrians now lives in Germany. More than half are said to be dependent on welfare benefits such as the government’s “Bürgergeld.” Critics argue that the welfare burden and integration problems have fueled growing public resentment toward the migrant population.

Security concerns have further intensified the debate. According to recent data, Syrian nationals have been suspected in criminal cases at a rate more than five times higher than German citizens, with one report claiming that a crime involving a Syrian suspect occurs roughly every 39 minutes on average. High-profile incidents, including a July 2025 hammer attack on a Bavarian train in which four people were injured, have reinforced calls for stricter immigration enforcement.

Supporters of deportations argue that restoring national security and easing pressure on social services requires returning Syrians home now that the war is over. Chancellor Merz maintains that the policy represents a necessary shift in line with the new reality in Syria, insisting that Germany can no longer provide asylum when the original grounds for protection no longer exist.

Anti-ICE Sexual Deviants Stage ‘Degenerates Against Fascism’ Protest.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: A rally titled “Degenerates Against Fascism” took place outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland, Oregon, featuring partially nude participants, people in bondage gear, and others engaging in provocative displays.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Protesters, including known Antifa associates Alissa Azar and Michael “Michelle” Backes, and others in the rally.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Sunday, outside Portland’s ICE facility.

💬KEY QUOTE: “We are strong, we are proud, we are degenerates against fascism.” – Protest leader.

🎯IMPACT: Authorities deployed pepper balls to disperse agitators, with protesters mocking their efforts.

IN FULL

A protest dubbed “Degenerates Against Fascism” unfolded Sunday outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland, Oregon, drawing a crowd in fetish gear, “furry” costumes, and partial nudity to decry President Donald J. Trump‘s policies and federal immigration enforcement.

Participants marched through streets, chanting anti-Trump and anti-ICE slogans amid a spectacle of “kink-inspired” theatrics. One topless woman torched an American flag, kicked its ashes toward the federal facility, and brandished a sign reading, “tear gas makes me horny.” A group in dog masks, evoking the so-called “puppy play” subculture, howled in unison at federal personnel.

Elsewhere, a wheelchair user in a furry mask blew bubbles for a crawling protester in a pup hood. The throng roared, “No Trump, no ICE, no fascist USA,” with a leader proclaiming, “We are strong, we are proud, we are degenerates against fascism.”

Journalist Andy Ngo, who has covered Antifa for years, identified known Antifa figures Alissa Azar and Michael “Michelle” Backes among the demonstrators. As agitators surged toward the gates, authorities fired pepper balls to disperse them.

The rally follows months of turmoil at the ICE center, besieged nearly nightly by domestic terrorist Antifa militants since June, hurling threats, ramming barricades, and clashing violently with officers, yielding over 20 arrests, 100 citations, and 27 federal indictments for arson and assaults on officers.

Local Democrats have amplified the opposition. In September, Mayor Keith Wilson issued a violation notice citing over two dozen supposed breaches of a 2011 permit, based on detention exceedances tracked by progressive advocates. City Councilor Angelita Morillo, who uses they/them pronouns, posted a guide urging the use of “burner phones,” Signal encryption, Faraday bags, and PIN locks to frustrate law enforcement.

Early October saw brawls between Antifa and pro-ICE counter-demonstrators, including an unpunished attack on journalist Nick Sortor. Sortor was arrested for disorderly conduct but was released the next day amid allegations of bias.

President Donald J. Trump’s bid to deploy the National Guard to Portland to protect federal buildings and personnel has been blocked twice by U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut, who ruled it exceeded federal authority and violated states’ rights.

Federal Agents Targeted in Shootings After Gang Bounty Announced.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Federal immigration agents were targeted in four violent attacks during enforcement operations in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Federal immigration agents, Chicago police, protesters, the Latin Kings, and a gunman who remains at large.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Saturday in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood, spanning several city blocks.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Make no mistake: Our mission will continue despite the violence.” – Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin

🎯IMPACT: Nine arrests were made, with DHS working alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Chicago police to locate the gunman and review security measures.

IN FULL

Federal law enforcement has launched a manhunt in Chicago, Illinois, after immigration agents came under fire from what is believed to be members of the Latin Kings gang in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood on Saturday. According to officials with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), agents were targeted in four separate incidents, with the shootings believed to be tied to a bounty issued by the Latin Kings gang on any federal law enforcement involved in Operation Midway Blitz.

The violence began when agents were boxed into a street and alley while making an arrest, and a man driving a black Jeep opened fire before fleeing the scene. Crowds escalated the confrontation by throwing bricks and paint cans from rooftops, prompting agents to deploy a flash-bang device. Chicago police assisted in evacuating the area. Several vehicles sustained damage.

The unrest spanned several city blocks, with demonstrators attempting to breach the perimeter of a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) facility and ramming agents’ vehicles on four occasions. Protesters blocked streets and continued to hurl objects, leading agents to use crowd control measures to clear a path. Over the course of three hours, nine people were arrested, including eight U.S. citizens and one non-citizen, on charges ranging from assault to obstruction. DHS confirmed that the gunman remains at large.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin criticized Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker (D) and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson (D), accusing them of fostering hostility toward law enforcement. “J.B. Pritzker and Brandon Johnson have fueled an environment of lawlessness and assault on federal law enforcement,” McLaughlin stated.

She described the attacks as “unprecedented” and attributed the violence to anti-police rhetoric. “Make no mistake: Our mission will continue despite the violence,” she added, warning that those who target law enforcement will face consequences.

Over 300 Pounds of Meth Confiscated in Raid, DOJ Says.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Over 300 pounds of methamphetamine were seized from a storage facility in Norcross, Georgia.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Marco Cueto-Rosales, 47, and federal agents from the DEA, along with a Gwinnett County police K-9 unit.

📍WHEN & WHERE: October 10, 2025, at a storage unit in Norcross, Georgia.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Although the Mexican cartels stockpile and peddle their poison in our community, the quick actions of law enforcement thankfully took these deadly drugs off the streets,” said U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg.

🎯IMPACT: Federal agents removed over 325 pounds of methamphetamine from circulation, and Cueto-Rosales faces federal drug charges.

IN FULL

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced that a federal operation successfully seized 300 pounds of methamphetamine at a storage facility in Norcross, Georgia—a suburb of Atlanta—last month. According to U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents were monitoring the storage facility when they observed Marco Cueto-Rosales, 47, entering one of the units in early October.

Subsequently, a Gwinnett County police K-9 unit was used to search the facility and “alerted to the odor of narcotics emanating” from the unit Cueto-Rosales was observed entering. The unit was searched by federal agents, and upon entering, they uncovered over 325 pounds of methamphetamine.

Cueto-Rosales was subsequently arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Hertzberg also revealed that Cueto-Rosales was unlawfully present in the United States. He remarked, “Although the Mexican cartels stockpile and peddle their poison in our community, the quick actions of law enforcement thankfully took these deadly drugs off the streets.”

Trump Praises Hungary, Warns Migrants Are ‘Flooding Europe’ and Driving Crime Waves.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: President Donald J. Trump met Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the White House and praised his immigration policies.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Donald Trump, Viktor Orbán, and European Union leaders.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The meeting took place at the White House on Friday.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Look what’s happened to Europe with the immigration. They have people flooding Europe all over the place. And it’s hurting it. The crime rates are way up,” said Trump.

🎯IMPACT: Hungary faces European Union (EU) sanctions for its strict immigration policies, while Trump reiterated his support for Orbán.

IN FULL

President Donald J. Trump praised the immigration restrictions imposed by Hungary during a meeting with the country’s prime minister, Viktor Orbán, at the White House on Friday. The America First leader argued that the European Union (EU) should respect the measures taken by Orbán “very strongly, because he’s been right on immigration.” Trump emphasized, “Look what’s happened to Europe with the immigration. They have people flooding Europe all over the place. And it’s hurting it. The crime rates are way up. A lot of bad things are happening. His crime rates are very low. They’re the same as they always were, which is very little crime. Because he’s kept it the way it should be.”

During the meeting, Trump added, “He was right on immigration. They were wrong. They are flooding Europe with people from all over the world. And Europe is becoming a different place. And I tell the leaders all the time, ‘You better stop or you’re not going to have Europe anymore.’ It’s a very dangerous thing they’re doing.”

Prime Minister Orbán provided further details on his country’s policy, stating, “On migration… just for clarification, in Hungary, the number of illegal migration is like that—zero, zero because we have a crystal-clear system. If somebody would like to come to Hungary, first he should ask for that. If he [gets] permission, they can step in. Nobody can step on the territory of Hungary without having permission from the Hungarian authorities. This is the regulation.”

Orbán also highlighted the consequences Hungary faces for its stance, saying, “What is the consequence of that? We are under sanctions, financial sanctions of [the] European Union, because we don’t let the illegal [immigrants] come to Hungary and to the European Union as well. So we have to pay, just to inform you, we have to pay every day €1 million as a punishment… this is the absurd world we are living now in Europe.”

Notably, the European Union’s top court ordered Hungary to pay a $223 million fine in June 2024 for depriving migrants of their right to apply for asylum, alongside an additional fine of 1 million euros per day for non-compliance. Trump continued his praise for Orbán, stating, “Viktor’s had a very hard stance on more than anything else, immigration or even illegal immigration. He literally has accepted no one over the years. Think of how much greater these countries would be if they didn’t have the tremendous crime that has come in with the immigration, people just flowing into Europe. They’ve got to stop it and not only stop it, they have to reverse it. They have to get them out.”

Countries Like This Tiny African Kingdom Are Key to Trump’s Deportation Strategy, Here’s Why:

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Trump administration has ramped up deportations of illegal immigrants, including leveraging agreements with third-party countries like Eswatini (Swaziland) to bypass legal hurdles.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: President Donald J. Trump’s administration, Simon Hankinson of the Heritage Foundation, and illegal immigrants like Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Ongoing deportation efforts under the Trump administration, with countries like Eswatini, Rwanda, and Panama involved in third-party agreements.

💬KEY QUOTE: “If an alien has a veto on being sent home, then it’s a one-way street. It’s just a ratchet and never goes back down again.” – Simon Hankinson

🎯IMPACT: The agreements help the U.S. maintain national security by ensuring deportations proceed even when home-country returns are blocked.

IN FULL

As the Trump administration continues its efforts to curb illegal immigration, the use of third-party countries like Eswatini, commonly known as Swaziland, has become a key strategy in deportation cases. These agreements allow the U.S. to send deportees to nations other than their home country, addressing claims of torture or harm.

Simon Hankinson, a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation, highlighted the importance of these agreements in a recent media appearance, stating, “Our law allows us, if we can’t send someone back to their home country, we can send them back to a country in which they resided for some time, or in which they have gotten protection before or in a pinch to another country that will accept them and will not torture them or otherwise abuse them.”

One high-profile case involves Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gang member from El Salvador, who has delayed deportation by claiming fear of persecution in over 22 countries. Recently, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) notified his legal team that he would be deported to Eswatini, a small African kingdom.

Hankinson emphasized that these third-party country agreements are vital to national security, as they prevent illegal immigrants from having a “veto” on their deportation. “There are a lot of people who were let in under the Biden administration, thousands of people, who have criminal records back home that we know nothing about, and they’re sooner or later going to victimize American citizens,” he said.

While the numbers sent to third-party countries are relatively small for now, Hankinson believes these operations can expand significantly. “I would think that the Trump administration would want to have as many of these deals as possible,” he said, stressing that such agreements ensure deportations proceed despite legal challenges.

Over 1,000 Boat Migrants Surge Across the English Channel in a Day.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: Over 1,000 migrants on small boats crossed the English Channel over 24 hours.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: Migrants, British and French maritime authorities.

📍WHEN & WHERE: The English Channel, over the past 24 hours.

🎯IMPACT: The total arrivals this year have already surpassed last year’s total of 36,816, reaching approximately 38,000.

IN FULL

More than 1,000 people have crossed the English Channel in small boats over the past 24 hours. The latest arrivals include over 600 people who reached the United Kingdom on Thursday and around 400 more who have either landed or are currently heading towards British waters. These crossings mark the first in two weeks, after poor weather conditions temporarily halted people-smuggling operations across the Channel.

In one incident on Thursday, 94 migrants were rescued when their boat broke apart just four miles from Dunkirk, France. French maritime authorities reported that three of those rescued were taken to the hospital and treated for hypothermia.

The new surge brings the total number of arrivals this year to approximately 38,000, already exceeding the 36,816 who crossed during the whole of last year. It damages the credibility of some in Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour Party, such as former Prime Minister Tony Blair’s infamous lieutenant Alastair Campbell, who had been gloating over the brief lull in crossings.

The renewed wave of Channel crossings comes amid growing concern about the British government’s handling of illegal migration. In particular, the government continues to face pressure over the cost of accommodating those who arrive illegally. Reports suggest that housing migrants in taxpayer-funded hotels is now costing the British taxpayer around £108 million (~$142.1m) a month.

Immigration enforcement also remains a major challenge. Official figures indicate that Britain has deported only about 0.5 percent of boat migrants since 2020. Efforts to send some migrants to third countries, particularly Rwanda, were scrapped by Starmer when he entered office in mid-2024.

ICE Detention Numbers Hit Record High.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials set a new record for most suspected illegal immigrants held in detention, reaching 66,000.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: ICE officials and detained individuals, with commentary from Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin.

📍WHEN & WHERE: This week, across ICE detention facilities in the United States.

💬KEY QUOTE: “Seventy percent of illegal aliens ICE has arrested have criminal convictions or pending criminal charges just in the U.S.” – Tricia McLaughlin

🎯IMPACT: The detention numbers highlight ongoing challenges in managing immigration and enforcement policies.

IN FULL

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced it has set a new, all-time high for the number of illegal immigrants currently detained, with 66,000 in custody. This surpasses the previous record of 56,000 detainees, which was set during President Donald J. Trump’s first term in 2019.

When President Trump returned to office in January, there were approximately 39,000 migrants in ICE’s detention system. ICE facilities have the capacity to hold up to 70,000 detainees, though the Trump administration is currently seeking to expand this number by opening new and temporary facilities across the nation.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin stated, “Seventy percent of illegal aliens ICE has arrested have criminal convictions or pending criminal charges just in the U.S. This statistic doesn’t even account for those wanted for violent crimes in their country of origin or another country, INTERPOL notices, human rights abusers, gang members, or terrorists.”

The National Pulse reported in October that President Trump has overseen 515,000 deportations.  Notably, at the current rate, the Trump administration is on track to achieve 600,000 deportations by the end of the year, surpassing the record set by former President Barack Obama.

Trump Admin Launches Over 100 Probes into H-1B Visa Abuses to Protect American Workers.

PULSE POINTS

WHAT HAPPENED: The Department of Labor (DOL) announced 175 ongoing investigations into potential abuses of the H-1B visa program as part of its initiative to safeguard American jobs and ensure compliance with visa regulations.

👤WHO WAS INVOLVED: The Department of Labor, Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, President Donald J. Trump, and various employers utilizing the H-1B visa program.

📍WHEN & WHERE: Investigations launched in September 2025 under the DOL’s Project Firewall initiative.

💬KEY QUOTE: “The Labor Department is using every resource currently at our disposal to put a stop to H-1B visa abuse, and for the first time, I am personally certifying investigations into suspected violations to better protect American jobs.” – Lori Chavez-DeRemer

🎯IMPACT: The investigations aim to address wage suppression, fraudulent practices, and ensure American workers are prioritized for high-skilled jobs.

IN FULL

The Department of Labor (DOL) has launched at least 175 investigations into potential abuses of the H-1B visa program, as part of its Project Firewall initiative, which began in September 2025. The program aims to ensure that American workers are prioritized for job opportunities and that employers comply with visa regulations. This effort marks an unprecedented move, with Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer personally certifying the investigations.

“The Labor Department is using every resource currently at our disposal to put a stop to H-1B visa abuse, and for the first time, I am personally certifying investigations into suspected violations to better protect American jobs,” Chavez-DeRemer said in a statement. The investigations have already uncovered cases where foreign workers were paid significantly less than advertised, driving down wages for both visa holders and American workers. Additionally, some employers failed to notify U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) when an H-1B visa holder was terminated, or delayed this notification.

The DOL’s announcement coincided with President Donald J. Trump’s proclamation imposing a $100,000 one-time fee on H-1B visa petitions. The White House stated that the fee aims to prevent companies from exploiting the system by hiring cheap foreign labor and instead promote American businesses that genuinely need high-skilled workers. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick commented, “The whole idea is no more will these Big Tech companies or other big companies train foreign workers. They have to pay the government $100,000, then they have to pay the employee, so it’s just not [economical].”

Investigations have revealed additional issues, such as fraudulent Labor Condition Applications (LCA), where employers failed to notify American workers about job openings or misrepresented job descriptions and wages. Some employers even listed non-existent work sites or paid employees less than what was detailed in the LCA. In some cases, H-1B visa holders were “benched,” meaning they were not paid while between projects.
