Police Forcefully Clear Theater Occupied by Hundreds of Migrants for Months.

Police have used batons and tear gas to clear a theater that hundreds of illegal migrants had been occupying for months after being invited in and then refusing to leave. Paris police emptied the building of the illegal squatters on March 18 after months of occupation, meeting stiff resistance from both the migrants and their activist supporters.

Located in the center of Paris, France, around 450 young migrants decided to make the Gaîté Lyrique theater their home after being invited into the building in mid-December. When police arrived at the venue, activists attempted to form a human chain to prevent them from entering but were pushed back by officers who used tear gas.

The entire ordeal began after around 250 migrants were invited to take part in a pro-migrant conference involving academics and far-left activists. However, the number of migrants soon increased to over 450, with those who run the theater noting just weeks into the occupation that it could lead to the entire venue going bankrupt.

The theater management said that while the occupation was ongoing, no revenue could be made from performances, and the migrants had potentially cost the theater hundreds of thousands of euros in lost revenue. Local businesses also complained of losing money due to the migrants.

Newsom Needs Extra $3B for Health Program Swamped by Illegals.

California Gavin Newsom (D-CA) is once again seeking a multi-billion loan from his state’s general fund to cover Medicaid costs that have been sent soaring by the state’s expansion of healthcare coverage to illegal immigrants. The new $2.8 billion general fund loan request comes on the heels of a $3.4 billion request to cover an earlier shortfall in Medi-Cal, the state’s major healthcare program.

In response to allegations that his administration’s aid to illegal immigrants is responsible for skyrocketing state healthcare costs, Gov. Newsom obfuscated and claimed that rising pharmaceutical prices and increased enrollment in Medi-Cal are also significant contributors to the deficit. However, other states that have extended healthcare coverage to illegals are experiencing similar cost overruns.

Republican lawmakers in California are criticizing the state’s financial strategies, attributing the shortfall to unsound policy decisions. They note that even former Governor Jerry Brown (D-CA) did not expand Medi-Cal to all illegal immigrants, on fiscal grounds.

Last year, California became the first state to offer Medicaid to all low-income adults aged 26 to 49 regardless of immigration status. State data indicates that approximately 1.6 million illegal immigrants and 15 million residents are currently enrolled in the program.

The National Pulse has previously reported that the extension in Democrat-run states of government services—including healthcare—to illegal immigrants has placed severe strain on state and local budgets. The Governor J.B. Pritzker (D-IL) administration in Illinois is under investigation after a state audit report found that Democrat officials underestimated the cost of healthcare provided to illegals. In total, the audit report found Pritzker has spent $1.6 billion taxpayer dollars since 2020 on illegal immigrant healthcare.

Trump’s Troop Deployments Have Transformed Border Security: Patrol Chief.

The chief of San Diego’s Border Patrol has acknowledged that President Donald J. Trump’s move to send the military to support border control efforts has been a “force multiplier” and is already showing results. Jeffrey Stalnaker, acting Chief Patrol Agent for the San Diego Sector, noted that military personnel presence had enhanced the work of border agents.

The operation sees Army, Marines, and Navy service members supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents. Recent CBP data indicates that border apprehensions in February reached levels not seen since 2000, with 30,000 encounters recorded. This contrasts sharply with the over 130,000 encounters reported in the same month in 2023 and 2024.

Last month, Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks reported that illegal crossings had dropped as much as 94 percent under the current Trump administration.

Stalnaker attributes these developments to the military presence, which allows for swift agent deployment to law enforcement events. Specifically, Task Force Sapper, comprising nearly 500 Marines, has focused on fortifying existing barriers with additional protection, including strategically placing razor wire.

The Marines, supported by companies of Army engineers and military police from Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, are engaged in surveillance and detection along stretches of the border. While not directly intervening in crossings, these troops serve as a vital observational network, freeing CBP agents to prioritize response and apprehension efforts.

Trump’s CBP Awards First Border Wall Contract of Second Term.

United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has allocated close to $70 million to Granite Construction Co. to expand the southern border wall, marking the first such contract during President Donald J. Trump‘s second term. The plan involves constructing an additional seven miles of the barrier along the U.S.-Mexico border in Hidalgo County, Texas. This development was announced Saturday by CBP, which emphasized the aim of addressing “critical openings” in the wall, not fully completed during Trump’s first term.

The focus of the new construction is a section of the Rio Grande Valley, identified as a frequent entry point for illegal immigrant crossings and a corridor for smuggling activities, including drugs and human trafficking. CBP has articulated the importance of this expansion for aiding the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) efforts to curb illegal activities at the border.

Joe Biden had halted funding for the border wall, a move now reversed with this latest contract. Kristi Noem, Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary, confirmed that construction commenced on Sunday. In a video posted to social media while in Arizona, Noem stated, “Everybody, I’m here in Arizona, and right at this spot you can see where the border wall ends.” She further announced the commencement of “seven new miles of construction,” emphasizing a commitment to “make America safe again.”

Granite Construction Co., based in California, has engaged in numerous government projects in the past.

Conor McGregor Raises Ireland Being ‘Overrun’ by Illegals at White House.

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor visited the White House on St. Patrick’s Day. McGregor was set to meet President Donald J. Trump, who often attends UFC events and counts UFC president Dana White as a close friend and supporter.

At a press conference where White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt introduced him, he said the “illegal immigration racket” is ravaging Ireland, with “rural towns in Ireland that have been overrun in one swoop” and the native Irish reduced to a minority.

“What is going on in Ireland is a travesty,” the mixed martial arts star said, warning Irish Americans must be made aware of what is happening to their ancestral homeland because there “will be no place to come home and visit” if the country’s issues are not addressed. Leavitt confirmed that McGregor would engage with U.S. officials throughout the day.

McGregor has previously expressed a desire to run for President of Ireland this October, pledging to bring the “charlatans” in the European Union member’s legislature to heel. However, the Irish presidency is relatively weak, performing largely ceremonial functions while the Prime Minister, or Taoiseach, draws his mandate from the legislature and runs the government.

The Irish political class also tightly controls who is allowed to run for President, and McGregor would need the support of a minimum number of legislators or local government bodies to make the ballot.

The 43 Nations Mentioned in Trump’s New Travel Ban.

President Donald J. Trump‘s administration is reportedly preparing to broaden a travel ban, affecting 43 countries categorized into three levels of perceived security threat. Draft plans suggest citizens from 11 nations, including Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria, would face a complete entry ban, having been placed on the “red” list. Meanwhile, the “orange” list, containing 10 countries including Belarus, Haiti, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Russia, would require citizens to undergo in-person interviews for visa eligibility.

Across the third level, the “yellow” list, there are 22 countries, primarily located in Africa. These nations have been granted a 60-day timeframe to enhance their security measures, with failure to do so potentially resulting in reclassification to the more restrictive lists. This move follows an executive order signed two months earlier by President Trump, instructing officials to pinpoint countries with inadequate vetting systems.

The White House has emphasized that no definitive decision has been made regarding the final implementation of the proposed travel restrictions. The administration states that the lists are still under review and adjustments could be made based on further diplomatic engagements and assessments of security practices. The draft proposal represents an extension of President Trump’s longstanding focus on national security and immigration vetting processes.

The proposal is seeing pushback from far-left open-borders advocacy groups and is expected to spur legal intervention by federal courts. The administration, however, maintains that the aim of the proposed measures is to safeguard the nation by ensuring proper vetting of foreign nationals entering the United States.

A Judge Tried to Keep Violent Gang Members in America. It Was Too Late.

The United States has deported over 250 individuals, primarily Venezuelan gang members, to El Salvador, following an order from President Donald J. Trump invoking the Alien Enemies Act. A federal judge subsequently attempted to block the deportations, but they proceeded despite his ruling.

El Salvador’s President, Nayib Bukele, confirmed the arrival of 238 Venezuelan and 23 Salvadoran gang members, including those affiliated with Tren de Aragua (TdA) and MS-13. This transfer is part of an agreement for the U.S. to fund their containment within El Salvador’s 40,000-capacity “terrorism confinement center,” a facility central to Bukele’s anti-gangs initiative.

The Trump administration labeled TdA a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) last month, citing unlawful infiltration of and hostility against the U.S. For instance, there were numerous instances documented of  TdA gang members taking over apartment complexes in Colorado over the summer. The 18th-century Alien Enemies Act, historically invoked during wartime, was used to expedite these deportations.

U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg had expanded a ruling to temporarily block this action, aiming to reverse deportations in progress. However, President Bukele posting about the flights landing indicates they were beyond reversal. Following this, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio thanked Bukele for his cooperation.

El Salvador’s Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) has been a focal point of international attention, being termed both a robust crime deterrent by conservatives and a violation of human rights by liberals.

Illegal Immigrant Accused of Fatally Beating Infant.

An illegal immigrant in New York has been arrested and accused of fatally assaulting his two-month-old daughter. Marlon Rabanales-Pretzantzin, 20, was charged with second-degree murder following his arrest on Wednesday, related to the death of his daughter, Liseyda Rabanales Barrios. Authorities responded to a call concerning a choking incident at an Inwood residence on March 7, shortly after 10:30 AM. Emergency services transported the infant to a hospital and later to another facility, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Nassau County Police Department’s investigation revealed signs of physical abuse, including abrasions and fractures on the infant. Detective Capt. Stephen Fitzpatrick stated that Rabanales-Pretzantzin “admitted to us what had happened with the baby, how he abused it physically, how he felt the child wasn’t his, and how he did not respect or want that child.” He added that the illegal had admitted he “hit the child several times around the head and face” and “threw the child on the ground.”

Also residing in the home with Rabanales-Pretzantzin was the children’s 20-year-old mother. Another child, a one-year-old boy, was removed for medical evaluation, though police do not suspect the mother’s involvement in the alleged abuse.

Rabanales-Pretzantzin was arraigned without bail in Nassau County Court on Thursday. Patrick Ryder, Nassau County Police Commissioner, confirmed that the accused is originally from Guatemala and had entered the U.S. via El Paso, Texas, under the former Biden government policy commonly called “catch and release.”

Ryder stated that once Rabanales-Pretzantzin’s legal proceedings are completed in Nassau County, a determination will be made regarding his deportation.

Trump Admin Acts Against Two More Columbia University Hamas Supporters.

Ranjani Srinivasan, an Indian migrant “who had her student visa revoked for advocating for violence and terrorism” against Israel, has “self-deported,” according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The department says the Columbia University student used the CBP One app—used by the Biden regime to admit hundreds of thousands of migrants to the U.S. but converted into a self-deportation tool by the Trump administration—to facilitate her departure. Her visa had been revoked on March 5.

Meanwhile, another Columbia student accused of participating in pro-Hamas demonstrations, Leqaa Kordia, has been arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for overstaying her expired F-1 student visa. Kordia is a Palestinian, originally from the West Bank.

“It is a privilege to be granted a visa to live & study in the United States of America,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said of her department’s moves against the students. “When you advocate for violence and terrorism that privilege should be revoked and you should not be in this country,” she continued, adding she was “glad to see one of the Columbia University terrorist sympathizers use the CBP Home app to self deport.”

This follows the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a Columbia graduate and permanent resident, by ICE for his leading role in anti-Israel campus encampments. President Donald J. Trump said of Khalil, “If you support terrorism, including the slaughtering of innocent men, women, and children, your presence is contrary to our national and foreign policy interests, and you are not welcome here.” However, his deportation is on pause after a judge intervened.

Khalil turns out to have worked for the British government in Syria and received a security clearance from London.

Trump DOJ Investigates NYC Illegal Immigrant Hotels for Criminal Activity.

President Donald J. Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued subpoenas to two New York City hotels that were converted into aid centers and shelters for illegal immigrants. The subpoenas order the infamous Roosevelt Hotel and the Stewart Hotel to provide federal prosecutors with the names of individuals, contractors, and other entities that oversaw the “funding and management of the illegal immigrant/migrant shelter program.” Additionally, the DOJ is seeking the names and other identifying information of the individuals who stayed at both hotels.

In addition to the Roosevelt Hotel and the Stewart Hotel, the Hotel Chandler also received a DOJ subpoena. While the Hotel Chandler is being operated ostensibly as a homeless shelter, it appears federal prosecutors believe the facility has either housed illegal immigrants in the past or is connected financially to the other two hotels.

The DOJ investigation is centered on suspected violations of federal immigration law and is explicitly directed at the hotels and their operators rather than New York City government officials. Since its conversion to an aid center and shelter in May 2023, the Roosevelt Hotel alone has processed 173,000 illegal immigrants. In exchange for serving as a shelter, the New York City government agreed to pay up to $220 million to the hotel, which is owned by the Pakistani government, as part of a larger financial arrangement involving an International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout package.

Currently, the city provides shelter and assistance to around 45,000 illegal immigrants—down from a peak of around 70,000 in January last year. Notably, Mayor Eric Adams testified before Congress that his city has spent nearly $7 billion on housing and feeding an estimated 232,000 illegal immigrants since 2022.

The National Pulse reported in late February that Adams announced that the city is moving to shut down the Roosevelt Hotel shelter facility.
