Mexico Seizes $40M in Meth Following Trump Pressure on Drug Trafficking.

Mexican authorities have seized approximately $40 million worth of methamphetamine in a recent operation amid heightened pressure from the United States to combat drug trafficking. The operation occurred over the weekend in Sinaloa, a region notoriously linked to the Sinaloa Cartel. During the crackdown, authorities confiscated around 440 pounds of meth and more than 3,170 gallons of chemical precursors utilized in meth production.

This significant drug seizure occurred shortly after Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum agreed to enhance border security following tariff threats by U.S. President Donald J. Trump. These tariffs were set to affect all goods exported to the U.S., Mexico’s largest trading partner. As part of an agreement reached on February 3, Sheinbaum pledged to deploy 10,000 national guard soldiers to Mexico’s border with the U.S., focusing efforts on blocking fentanyl trafficking. President Trump, in return, agreed to delay the imposition of tariffs for a month while monitoring progress.

The issue of drug trafficking has been a focal point for Trump, who moved to designate Mexican drug cartels, including the Sinaloa Cartel, as foreign terrorist organizations. This designation was one of Trump’s first executive actions as he returned to office.

The battle against drug trafficking is further supported by initiatives such as a covert American drone program to identify fentanyl laboratories in Mexico. The National Pulse has previously reported the Mexican Senate approved a measure allowing U.S. military personnel to train Mexican counterparts, extending their presence until the end of March.

Trump Border Czar Tom Homan Reports Significant Decrease in Daily Illegal Immigrant Encounters.

U.S. Border Patrol encounters along the Mexican frontier have dramatically decreased in the first two months of President Donald J. Trump’s second term in office. Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, revealed the drop in illegal crossings in a post on social media. In the 24 hours before February 17, agents reported encountering just 229 individuals across the southwest border, a significant drop from the over 11,000 daily encounters counted under the Biden government.

“In the last 24 hours the U.S. Border Patrol has encountered a total of 229 aliens across the entire southwest border. That is down from a high of over 11,000 a day under Biden,” Homan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), adding: “I started as a Border Patrol Agent in 1984 and I don’t remember the numbers ever being that low. President Trump promised a secure border and he is delivering.”

Shortly after taking office on January 20, 2025, President Trump signed a series of executive orders aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration and securing the U.S.-Mexico border. Additionally, Trump has placed mounting pressure on the Mexican and Canadian governments to commit more resources to preventing illegal crossings into the United States and to curb the flow of illicit drugs.

The low encounter figures coincide with ongoing actions by U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) and other federal agencies to apprehend illegal immigrants nationwide. These operations have targeted individuals involved in transnational gangs, suspected terrorism, and those with criminal convictions. Last week, Texas authorities arrested a Venezuelan national linked to the Tren de Aragua prison gang, who had a prior conviction for attempting to smuggle firearms from the U.S.

Craig Larrabee, ICE Homeland Security Investigations San Antonio Special Agent in Charge, stated that this arrest underscores law enforcement’s diligence in addressing criminal activities and ensuring community safety.

ICYMI: Federal Agency Squandered $10 Billion on Migrants in One Year.

A recent report by the watchdog group Open the Books revealed vast sums lavished on grants for migrants by the Biden-Harris government. These grants, managed by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement, totaled over $10 billion in just one fiscal year. The Office’s responsibilities include managing unaccompanied migrant children at the southern border and resettling refugees entering the United States legally.

The watchdog’s analysis of fiscal years shows a marked increase, with $2.4 billion awarded to nonprofits in FY 2021 and $3.4 billion in FY 2022. This spiked to $10 billion during FY 2023 before decreasing to $4.2 billion in FY 2024. This surge occurred alongside an escalating migrant crisis from 2021 to 2024.

The funds were reportedly utilized for various initiatives, including actively aiding migrants in saving for vehicles and homes while providing loans and legal assistance. Open the Books CEO John Hart criticized the spending, stating, “We’re hurting American taxpayers… How is it moral to ask them to pay the bill for someone who wants to come to this country illegally?”

This revelation comes as scrutiny of government spending intensifies, spearheaded by the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently retrieved $59 million initially allocated for migrant housing in New York City, terminating the employment of four Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) staff involved in the transactions.

Hearing for Illegals Suing to Prevent Being Sent to Gitmo Canceled After They’re Deported to Venezuela Instead.

A status conference scheduled for March 3 regarding the fate of three Venezuelan illegal immigrants who successfully attained a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) from a U.S. District Court preventing them from being sent to a migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay has been canceled. The U.S. District Court in New Mexico—which granted the restraining order—vacated next month’s status conference after President Donald J. Trump’s administration deported the three men to their home country of Venezuela instead.

“This matter is before the Court on Respondents’ Notice of Removal, filed February 11, 2025. Having considered the information provided in the Notice of Removal, the Court hereby vacates the status conference set for March 3, 2025,” an order signed by the Chief Judge on Friday reads. The judicial order goes on to note that while the Court had issued a TRO preventing the three plaintiffs from being removed from the United States to the U.S. military base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the Trump administration opted instead to return them to their home country of Venezuela. The Chief Judge rightfully notes this negates the need for further proceedings.

In early February, President Trump announced that illegal immigrants considered too dangerous to hold in standard U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facilities—or, in some instances, too dangerous to deport to their country of origin—would instead be sent to a 30,000-bed migrant holding facility at Guantanamo Bay. The individuals now being detained at the U.S. military base in Cuba include numerous members of the extremely violent Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua.

Trump Says Vance Is Right, Europe Is Losing Free Speech and Overrun by Migrant Crime.

President Donald J. Trump has backed Vice President J.D. Vance’s “brilliant speech” at the Munich Security Conference slamming Europe’s eroding free speech rights and mismanagement of mass migration, saying, “I think it’s true; in Europe, they’re losing their wonderful right of freedom of speech. I see it.”

“Europe has to be careful,” the America First leader told journalists in the Oval Office. “[Vance] talked about immigration, and Europe has a big immigration problem. Just take a look at what’s happened with crime,” he added.

In some European countries, migrants and their second and third-generation descendants account for a majority of terrorists and an outsized share of criminals. For instance, data disclosed by Germany‘s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) revealed that migrants are now implicated in 58.5 percent of all violent crimes.

Vance had said in his speech earlier on Friday, “The threat that I worry the most about vis-à-vis Europe is not Russia, it’s not China, it’s not any other external actor. And what I worry about is the threat from within.”

“Europe faces many challenges, but the crisis this continent faces right now, the crisis I believe we all face together, is one of our own making,” he added.

WATCH: Knifeman and Passing Deliveryman Attack Protestor Burning Koran in London.

A protestor burning a Koran near the Turkish consulate in London, England, was attacked by a knife-wielding Muslim on Thursday. A passing cyclist working for Deliveroo, an Uber Eats-like food delivery service, also paused to kick the protestor while he was on the ground.

The incident follows the assassination of Salwan Momika in the middle of a livestream in Sweden. Momika, originally from Iraq, had been hoping to claim asylum in the U.S., as the authorities were prosecuting him for incitement against an ethnic group for his own Koran-burning protest.

Video of the incident in London shows a white-haired man with a foreign accent rushing the Koran-burning protestor, slashing and stabbing at him with a knife. The protestor falls to the ground as he flees, and the knifeman begins kicking, slashing, and spitting at him, shouting, “That’s my religion; you don’t burn Koran!” A Deliveroo cyclist watching the scene also delivers a kick to the protestor, seemingly opportunistically, while he is on the ground.

A man claiming to be the protestor wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that he burned the Koran to “protest the Islamist government of [Turkish President Recep Tayyip] Erdogan, who has made Turkey a base for radical Islamists and is trying to establish a sharia regime.”

London’s Metropolitan Police have confirmed they arrested “a man” following an “assault in Knightsbridge.”

“The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his finger. He did not receive any stab wounds. Officers attended within minutes and arrested a man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm,” they state.

Vance Tells Germans to Respect AfD and Its Voters.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has called for Germany’s establishment parties to reconsider their policy of shutting out the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Vance said, “I think, unfortunately, the will of voters has been ignored by a lot of our European friends.”

“It’s really about censorship and about migration, about this fear that President Trump and I have, that European leaders are kind of terrified of their own people,” the Vice President explained to the press ahead of his address to the conference.

Vance struck a similar tone when turning to the question of supposed Russian influence over the European political discourse, saying, “If your democratic society can be taken down by $200,000 of social media ads, then you should think seriously about how strong your grip on or how strong your understanding of the will of the people actually is.”

The AfD is currently the second-most popular party in Germany, projected to place ahead of the governing Social Democrats and their current and former coalition partners in the Green and Free Democratic parties. It will likely place behind the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), a notionally right-wing party that occasionally indulges in anti-mass migration rhetoric but was formerly led by Angela Merkel, who opened Germany to millions of Middle Eastern migrants.

Elon Musk, the tech mogul leading the Department for Government Efficiency (DOGE) for the Trump administration, has previously endorsed the AfD, calling it the only party that can save Germany.

Afghan Accused of Munich Car Ramming Suspected to Have Islamist Motive.

An Afghan bodybuilder has been arrested after a car was plowed into a crowd in Munich, Germany, injuring 36 people, with two, including a toddler, in critical condition. The incident occurred on Thursday morning when a Mini Cooper drove into a group of trade union strikers on Seidlstrasse. Authorities suspect the act may be linked to Islamist extremism, as revealed in a Friday morning police statement.

The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Farhad Noori, reportedly confessed to intentionally driving into the crowd. German anti-terror police are leading the investigation. Noori, who emigrated from Kabul in 2016, had an asylum application denied by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. However, due to security concerns in Afghanistan, he was allowed to stay in Germany anyway.

Noori’s social media presence shows indications of extremist connections, including posts that were reportedly supportive of Islamist ideologies. His now-deactivated accounts also showcased his passion for bodybuilding, a sport in which he competed nationally.

The attack occurred near the Munich Security Conference, attended by international leaders, including Vice President J.D. Vance.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz has called for firm action against Noori, stressing that he should face punishment and deportation. However, had the authorities removed or detained him after his asylum claim was initially rejected, the attack could have been preempted.

ICE Apprehends Illegal Immigrant Accused of Child Rape After Sanctuary State Ignored Detainer.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers detained Jose Fernando-Perez, 49, in Framingham, Massachusetts, after local law enforcement did not honor an immigration detainer issued over two years ago. Fernando-Perez is accused of six child rape offenses.

The detainer had initially been lodged by ICE in May 2022 after he was charged in Essex County, but the suspect was released on pre-trial conditions in October 2022. State and local sanctuary laws in Massachusetts have resulted in a number of high-profile instances where illegal alien criminals were released by local authorities before an ICE detainer could be executed, resulting in the illegals proceeding to commit new violent acts.

The stringent sanctuary laws within the state mean local law enforcement and courts are not compelled to cooperate with ICE directives. A 2017 state Supreme Court ruling emphasized preventing what had been called “anti-immigrant policies.”

Acting Field Office Director of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Boston, Patricia H. Hyde, stated in a press release that Fernando-Perez represents the type of individual ICE is focusing on under its “worst first” policy, emphasizing the threat he posed to children in the community.

Democratic Governor Maura Healey previously stated that while Massachusetts is not officially a sanctuary state, officials must adhere to the law in immigration enforcement, especially regarding known criminals. The Democratic Attorney General, Andrea Joy Campbell, has stressed that the state will not condone any enforcement actions seen as illegal.

Fernando-Perez faces an upcoming Department of Justice immigration hearing and remains in ICE custody. Additionally, a jury trial for the charges, which include three counts of aggravated rape of a child and three counts of rape of a child by force, is scheduled for June 2, 2025.

Report: HHS Went on $22.6 Billion Taxpayer Dollar Migrant Spending Spree Under Biden.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) spent $22.6 billion in taxpayer dollars through federal grants that provided financial assistance to illegal immigrants from 2020 through 2024 under former President Joe Biden. According to a watchdog report issued by Open the Books, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) grants were used to provide cash assistance for illegal immigrants to purchase vehicles and start small businesses.

According to the Open the Books report, ORR dramatically expanded access to federal grants for noncitizens and illegal immigrants—accelerating the agency’s spending even further in the final year of Joe Biden’s only term as president. The report indicates that ORR issued over $10 billion in grants to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in 2023 alone.

Grant money disbursed by the HHS subagency was used to aid illegal immigrants in purchasing vehicles, homes, college educations, starting small businesses, and repairing credit history. Some of the small business loans made available totaled $15,000 per applicant.

A total of $12.4 billion was earmarked for assistance provided for illegal immigrant minors, with a five-year funding obligation. Consequently, the ORR came under intense scrutiny during Biden’s term in office as part of an Inspector General investigation that revealed policy lapses resulted in the agency being unable to determine the location of over 32,000 illegal immigrant minors across the United States.

Meanwhile, Church World Services and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) were the top two NGOs receiving HHS grant funding. The National Pulse has previously reported that the George Soros-linked IRC is a gargantuan, globalist NGO boasting a total 2021 budget of over $1 billion. David Miliband, former British Foreign Minister, member of the Labour Party, and oft-speculated future Prime Minister, currently serves as its president.
