ICE Has Already Rounded Up Almost 200 Venezuelan Gang Members.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have already apprehended nearly 200 members of the notorious Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, the White House announced on Wednesday. From January 21 to February 3, ICE agents arrested 194 gang members who were illegally residing in the United States. President Donald J. Trump has promised to root out dangerous illegal aliens.

“President Donald Trump told the American people he’d arrest and deport members of the brutal Tren de Aragua gang, and he’s doing just that,” stated White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. “Illegal immigrant criminal gangs like Tren de Aragua will no longer be able to terrorize American communities under President Trump’s leadership.”

Leavitt further confirmed that each of the apprehended gang members will be deported back to Venezuela, which has agreed to accept repatriation flights from the U.S.

These arrests contribute to the over 7,000 criminal aliens ICE has apprehended since President Trump took office, with raids conducted in several major sanctuary cities across the nation.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced last week that the U.S. will use the military prison at Guantanamo Bay to house deported migrants. President Trump elaborated on this strategy, stating, “Some of them are so bad we don’t even trust the countries to hold them, because we don’t want them coming back, so we’re gonna send them out to Guantanamo. This will double our capacity immediately, right? And tough. That’s a tough, that’s a tough place to get out of.”

El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has also agreed to host criminal aliens—and even U.S. criminals—at his CECOT mega-prison.

AG Bondi Moves to Freeze Federal Funding of Sanctuary Cities.

President Donald J. Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, is moving to suspend all federal funding of sanctuary cities. The DOJ directive could impact upwards of 220 American cities that have some form of sanctuary law on the books preventing local law enforcement and government officials from assisting federal immigration enforcement actions against migrants who entered the United States unlawfully.

Several Democrat mayors and governors have already announced they intend to resist President Trump’s nationwide crackdown on illegal immigrants, spearheaded by Border Czar Tom Homan. Subsequently, The National Pulse reported on Tuesday that Homan is considering pursuing legal action against  New Jersey Democrat Governor Phil Murphy after the latter claimed he was actively hiding an illegal immigrant from ICE agents in a room above his garage.

The local Democrat government in control of Washington, D.C. is also signaling they intend to resist President Trump’s immigration enforcement actions. “The values, laws, and policies of Washington, D.C., did not change on Election Day. We celebrate our diversity and respect all D.C. residents no matter their immigration status. We are a sanctuary city because we know that our neighborhoods are safer and stronger when no one is afraid to call on our government for help, and when our police can focus on protecting and serving,” said D.C.’s Democrat mayor, Muriel Bowser, in a statement on a city government website that provides information to aid illegal immigrants in avoiding federal detention and deportation.

Meanwhile, under the direction of Homan and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has executed numerous enforcement actions resulting in thousands of illegal immigrants being deported in just two weeks.

Guatemala Agrees to Take Deported Migrants from Other Countries.

In a significant policy shift, Guatemala’s President Bernardo Arevalo announced on Wednesday that Guatemala will accept migrants from other countries who are being deported from the United States. This statement came after a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Guatemala City.

Under the newly established “safe third country” agreement, President Arevalo stated that these deportees would later be repatriated to their countries of origin, with the United States covering the costs of these returns.

If migrants fear they will not be able to stay in the U.S. ahead of their repatriation—potentially allowing them to disappear into hiding or acquire residency by having a child on U.S. soil or some other surreptitious means—many may be deterred from entering the U.S. in the first place.

Immigration, a key focus of the Trump administration, has dominated Secretary Rubio’s agenda during his inaugural foreign trips as the U.S.’s chief diplomat, spanning five Central American nations.

The deal with Guatemala follows another with El Salvador, headed by populist President Nayib Bukele, who had agreed to host violent criminals—U.S. citizens as well as criminal aliens—at his country’s CECOT mega-prison, where gang members have been incarcerated en masse as part of an anti-crime crusade that has reduced homicides by 98 percent.

First Flights of Illegal Immigrants to Guantanamo Bay Confirmed.

President Donald J. Trump’s administration has initiated the transfer of illegal aliens to Guantanamo Bay, with the first flights reportedly underway. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the beginning of the deportation flights on February 4. The action follows Trump’s recent promise to utilize the facility, commonly referred to as Gitmo, to hold the most dangerous illegals.

Leavitt emphasized that Trump is taking definitive steps against criminal aliens following the signing of the Laken Riley Act. She explained that these measures are intended to prevent the U.S. from becoming a “dumping ground” for criminals from various countries. This policy also includes collaborative efforts with Venezuela and Colombia to repatriate their nationals.

Trump is turning to Guantanamo partly due to concerns over whether certain countries will keep their criminals in detention. As another option, El Salvador‘s President Nayib Bukele has also offered President Trump the use of prison facilities in his country for migrant criminals.

Describing Gitmo as a secure and restrictive facility, Trump expressed confidence that this strategy would impede the return of illegals to the U.S. He emphasized the administration’s resolve to address what they view as criminal activity linked to illegal migration, affirming that the facility is “a tough place to get out of.”

Trump’s Border Czar Warns New Jersey Governor Faces Jail for Allegedly Hiding an Illegal.

President Donald J. Trump’s border czar has threatened to jail the Democrat Governor of New Jersey for claiming he was allowing an illegal alien to live at his home. Tom Homan indicated interest in seeking legal action against Governor Phil Murphy after Murphy said he had invited an illegal to live above his garage over the weekend, adding, “And good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”

“I think the governor’s pretty– foolish thing what he said because I’ve gotten a hold of it. We won’t let it go. We’ll look into it,” Homan told Fox News.

“[I]f you knowingly, knowingly harbor and concealing an illegal alien, that’s a violation of Title 8, United States Code 1324. I will seek prosecution or the secretary will seek prosecution,” he warned.

Murphy’s office later claimed his statement was misinterpreted and insisted no illegal migrant resides at his home.

Homan has previously stated that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have been prioritizing dangerous illegal migrant criminals for arrest, noting that migrants wanted for murder and child rape have already been taken into custody. However, Homan warns that all illegals are in the sights of ICE, noting that entering the United States illegally or overstaying a visa is a crime.

Win-Win: Criminal Migrants Thank Trump for Deportation.

Illegal immigrants deported by President Donald J. Trump say they are actually thankful for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) action against them as, in some instances, it cut short their U.S. prison sentences. Since taking office on January 20, 2025, President Trump has moved swiftly to deport illegal immigrants with criminal histories—especially those currently being held in American prisons.

“I started crying with happiness,” said Carlos Suezo—a 54-year-old illegal immigrant from Honduras—after being released from a U.S. prison into ICE custody and promptly deported to Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Suezo had one month remaining on a six-month prison term for unlawfully entering the country after being deported in 2017 following his arrest for a gun crime. President Trump has prioritized the removal of illegal immigrants who are currently being held in the U.S. prison system.

Suezo described his fellow illegal immigrant inmates as being “so happy” that their prison sentences were being cut up to several years short, even if it was because they were being swiftly removed from the country. In his first week in the White House, Trump oversaw the deportation of 7,000 illegal immigrants either held in American prisons or detained by ICE.

Meanwhile, on the Mexican side of the border, a number of migrants who had hoped to use the former Biden government’s CBP One app to enter the U.S.—before Trump shut the program down—are gathered in temporary encampments. Even among these individuals, now barred from legally entering the U.S., few blame Trump.

Margelis Tinoco—a 48-year-old woman who went viral after her CBP One app appointment was abruptly canceled in the moments after Trump took office—says she still doesn’t blame the America First leader. According to Tincoco, Trump is right to deport those who are “damaging the country.”

America’s Birthright Citizenship Laws Make It an Outlier Among Peer Nations.

The United States is an outlier among wealthy, developed nations in that it has almost no restrictions on birthright citizenship, also known as jus soli (“right of the soil”) citizenship. Under the current interpretation of U.S. law, any child born on American soil—even if both parents are illegal immigrants—is granted citizenship. According to legal precedent, only the children of diplomats and other similar foreign officials are explicitly excluded. President Donald J. Trump has issued an executive order to end the practice, but this is subject to a legal challenge.

While Canada also allows unrestricted birthright citizenship, the practice is far less common in Europe and Asia. In fact, not a single European state allows for unrestricted birthright citizenship—with most requiring either one parent to be a citizen or legal permanent resident and, in some cases, mandating that at least one of the parents reside in the country for a set period.

Historically, Europe experienced significant migration waves, particularly post-World War II and during the following economic reconstruction period. This led to spontaneous, often unregulated, immigration. European countries initially expected migrants to return home after their labor was no longer required, but regulations evolved over time. By the 1970s, amid economic challenges, restrictions became more common, altering naturalization policies. Notably, the United Kingdom shifted from a jus soli to a more jus sanguinis (“right of blood”) citizenship norm, requiring parental citizenship to obtain British nationality. As of 2004—when Ireland abolished its expansive jus soli laws—Europe ceased offering unrestricted birthright citizenship entirely.

Meanwhile, Australia and New Zealand have followed similar paths, with Australia abolishing jus soli citizenship in 1986 and New Zealand following in 2006. In Asia, birthright citizenship is extremely rare, with most countries imposing strict conditions to attain citizenship.

WATCH: Demonstrators Blocking Freeway to Protest Trump Deportations Wave Foreign Flags.

Thousands of demonstrators, many waving foreign flags, took to the streets in Los Angeles on Sunday, protesting against President Donald J. Trump’s deportation efforts. The demonstration led to significant disruptions when participants blocked U.S. Route 101, one of the state’s major freeways.

The protesters initially gathered at Olvera Street, a location with historical ties to the eras of Spanish and Mexican control over the area. From there, they marched on Los Angeles City Hall. As the demonstration progressed, participants moved onto U.S. 101, blocking all lanes and causing significant traffic disruptions.

The blockage resulted in traffic congestion stretching in both directions and affecting surface streets in the vicinity. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that it took over five hours for the freeway to be cleared and fully reopened to traffic. However, CHP Lieutenant Matt Gutierrez confirmed on Sunday evening that despite the extensive disruption, there were no arrests.

Similar protests by climate activists in Britain have led to severe injuries and even deaths, with motorists diverted onto alternative routes involved in crashes, and people en route to hospital significantly delayed.

President Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, has vowed that the mass deportations the America First leader promised on the campaign trail will be executed “with no apology.”

“We’re going to do this operation with no apology. We’re going to make our communities safer. Once we lock that border down and continue this operation, you’re going to see fentanyl deaths decrease, illegal alien crime decrease, sex trafficking decrease. It’s all for the good of this nation, and we’re gonna keep going. No apologies, we’re moving forward,” he said.

NY Teen Murdered by Pakistani Relatives in So-Called ‘Honor Killing.’

A 14-year-old girl born and raised in New York has been brutally murdered by her Pakistani father and uncle in a so-called “honor killing” for the “crime” of posting videos on TikTok. Hira Anwar’s relatives brought her to Pakistan, supposedly on a family vacation, to carry out the killing, in a case that highlights ongoing issues with integrating migrants from countries with values radically at odds with the West.

Anwar, described as a typical, cheerful teenager when away from her strict home environment, was subjected to a draconian code of conduct by her parents, both of whom had immigrated from Pakistan to the U.S. two decades ago. Her murder took place in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, with her father confessing the crime to the Pakistani authorities.

This case is not an isolated incident but part of a broader pattern of “honor killings” among the Pakistani community, both domestically and abroad. According to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, the number of such killings stood at 588 reported last year, 490 in 2023, and 590 in 2022. However, it is likely many are not officially recorded.

Honor killings are also perpetrated by migrants from other Muslim-majority countries, and not only in the United States. For instance, Somali refugee Mohamedamin Abdirisek Ibrahim was charged with strangling his pregnant Swedish girlfriend to death with a lamp cord last year, as he did not want his parents to find out about their relationship.

Germany Votes AGAINST Stopping Illegal Immigration.

The German legislature has voted down a bill restricting illegal immigration to Western Europe’s largest economy, put forward in response to a spate of deadly terrorist attacks. The bill would have imposed more restrictions on illegal immigrants and on the ability of migrants already present in Germany to import their family members to join them from abroad.

The notionally center-right German Christian Democratic Union (CDU), formerly led by Angela Merkel, failed to pass the new immigration bill through the German parliament, by a vote of 350 to 338.

Friedrich Merz, leader of the CDU and likely the next Chancellor of Germany after next month’s election, tried to pass the legislation with the help of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. However, resistance from left-wing parties meant the vote failed overall.

Earlier this week, the CDU passed a motion on immigration with the help of the AfD, leading to former party leader and arch-globalist Merkel slamming Merz for working with the populists. On Friday, January 31, offices of the CDU in Berlin were attacked by far-left Antifa extremists, calling the CDU party members “fascists” for daring to work with the AfD.

While the CDU and their sister party, the Bavarian Christian Social Democrats (CDU), are expected to come first in next month’s election, they are not expected to come close to an outright majority. The AfD, meanwhile, is projected to win second place, but a coalition between the two parties seems unlikely. Historically, the establishment CDU has proven more willing to ally with the currently governing Socialists, Greens, and others to shut the AfD out of government.

The failed vote on restricting immigration comes just weeks after a migrant from Africa murdered a CDU party member. Christoph Rosenschon, 26, was stabbed to death in his home.
